Young hero Teja Sajja and director Prasanth Varma’s collaboration in ‘Hanuman‘ has shaken up the entire country. Released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi, the film has become a blockbuster hit at the pan-India level. The success of this film has turned all eyes towards Prasanth Varma’s upcoming projects, and the director has previously announced that a sequel to ‘Hanuman’ is also on the cards. Currently, he is busy preparing the script for the sequel. In a recent interview with an English media outlet, Prasanth Varma shared interesting details about the release of ‘Jai Hanuman’ and about their cinematic universe, which has become a hot topic in the industry.
‘Responsibility has increased’
Director Prasanth Varma expressed that the pan-India success of ‘Hanuman’ has increased the responsibility on him. “If ‘Hanuman’ had only collected Rs. 100 crores, we would have released the sequel by now,” he mentioned. But the film exceeded their expectations in collections, which means there’s more responsibility to work on ‘Jai Hanuman’. Varma assured that they are working hard on the script for ‘Jai Hanuman’, aiming to meet and surpass everyone’s expectations. He promised to deliver exactly what the audience expects to see on screen.
‘VFX work ahead’
The VFX work of ‘Hanuman’ was a major highlight, receiving more praise than the hundreds of crores spent on ‘Adipurush’ for its graphics. Responding to this, Prasanth Varma mentioned that for ‘Hanuman’, they started the VFX work after shooting, but for the sequel ‘Jai Hanuman’, they are preparing the VFX ahead of time. This approach will save time during post-production. Shooting for ‘Jai Hanuman’ has not yet started.
Bollywood stars are confirmed!
Prasanth Varma made intriguing remarks about his cinematic universe, revealing that he has been in talks with some Bollywood stars for his films. He confirmed that these stars would definitely be part of his projects but mentioned that it might take some time. He also clarified that it would take some time before ‘Jai Hanuman’ goes on floors, as ‘Adheera’ is set to release first, followed by two more films he is currently working on. Other directors are also working on these projects, including one with Mokshagna. Varma aims to release at least one or two films every year.
Movie with Mokshagna to start
It’s known that a film is forthcoming in the combination of Nandamuri Mokshagna Teja and director Prasanth Varma. Recently, on the occasion of Mokshagna’s birthday, the first look poster of the movie was released. Prasanth Varma expressed great pleasure in introducing Mokshagna to the industry. In the poster, Mokshagna appeared in a handsome look with a smiling face and a fully fit physique, making him look every bit the hero material. The look went viral on social media, with Nandamuri fans and cinema lovers wishing Mokshagna all the best.
Linkup with ‘Jai Hanuman’!
The film with Mokshagna Teja, directed by Prasanth Varma, is tentatively titled ‘PVCU 2’. Varma had previously stated that every film in his cinematic universe would link with his next film. In this context, ‘PVCU 2’ will pave the way for the release of ‘Jai Hanuman’. This ensures that Mokshagna’s film will definitely have a connection with ‘Jai Hanuman’, arousing curiosity among Nandamuri fans about how this linkup will unfold. Fans are eagerly anticipating what plan Prasanth Varma has concocted as they comment on their excitement.
