In Telugu states, the Sankranthi holiday season is the busiest for movies. Many popular heroes have made their biggest hits during this season over the years.

Megastar Chiranjeevi has many memorable Sankranthi hits to his name; his new movie Waltair Veerayya is scheduled to be released during Sankranthi 2023. Let us take a look at Chiranjeevi's Sankranthi releases over the years.

Kodandarami Reddy's film Donga Mogudu, which starred Chiru, Bhanupriya, Radhika, and Madhavi, was a Sankranti blockbuster in 1987. Chiru played a dual role in this.
