August 2022 Telugu Movie Releases

There are a tonne of new movies coming out in August. The most anticipated films from Tollywood, including Karthikeya 2 and Liger, are scheduled to come out this month, along with bigges from Bollywood, like Laal Singh Chadhha and Raksha Bandhan. Let’s look at the complete list of films that are coming out in August.

Bimbisara – 5th August

Nandamuri Kalyanram’s upcoming fantasy action film “Bimbisara” awed the audience with its trailer. The film generated a good amount of hype among moviegoers. Kalyan Ram’s comeback film is dropping on August 5th.

Sita Ramam – 5 August

“Sita Ramam”, a heart-touching love story set in the backdrop of war and history, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. Dulquler Salman, Murnal Thakur, and Rashmika Mandanna are playing lead roles in this film. This film will test its fate on August 5th.

Panchatantram – 5 August

Colors Swathi is coming back to big screens with the her film “Panchathantram.” Samuthrakani and Brahmanandam are playing key roles in this film. This unique concept film will be released on August 5. 

Laal Singh Chaddha – 11 August

Aamir Khan’s most awaited film, Laal Singh Chaddha, is finally dropping on August 12th. Audiences are excited to see Aamir Khan on screen again after four years of hiatus. This film is an official remake of Tom Hanks’ “Forrest Gump’

Raksha Bandhan – 11 August

Akshay Kumar is set to compete with Aamir Khan for box office supremacy with his film Raksha Bandhan, which is being released on August 12, the same day Aamir’s Laal Singh Chaddha will also be released in theaters.

Macherla Niyojakavargam – 12 August

Nitiin’s mass action drama Macherla Niyojakavargam created a good amount of hype among the audience with its every update. Kriti Shetty plays the female lead in this film. Macherla Niyojakavargam is released on August 12.

Karthikeya 2 – 12  August

Nikhil Siddhartha’s much awaited film ‘Karthikeya-2’ will be released on August 12. This film has massive pre-release buzz, unlike any other Telugu film in recent times. Anupama Parameshwaran is playing the female in this picture.

Yashoda – 12  August

Samantha’s lady-oriented film ‘Yashoda’ will hit the screens on August 12 in Telugu and Tamil languages. The flick is directed by the duo of Hair and Harish.

Laththi – 12  August

Vishal’s cop-action film Latti is releasing in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi on August 12th.

Wanted PanduGod – 19 August

Sunil and Anasuya starrer “Wanted PanduGod” a refreshing comedy entertainer will test it’s luck on 19th of August. This film also casts Deepika Pilli, Sudigali Sudheer and Srinivas Reddy in key roles.

Liger – 25  August

Vijay Devarakonda’s “Liger” will be released on August 25th. This pan-India film has been making waves for a while with its updates. This flick has all the elements to emerge as a big blockbuster.
