What Happened to the Remake of Pathala Bhairavi?

Jr NTR once mentioned that if he were to remake any of his grandfather’s movies, it would be ‘Pathala Bhairavi’. Pre-production work had even begun under the direction of a famous director from Tollywood. However, the project was eventually canceled at the last minute. Some elders believed that ‘Pathala Bhairavi’ might not receive much appreciation from today’s generation and advised Tarak accordingly.
