From a young age, Tharun’s father dreamt of his son succeeding in the creative field. Fittingly, when Tharun was just two years old, his father bought him a camera for Rs. 300, a camera that Tharun still possesses.

Tharun Bhascker’s mother, Geetha, is a well-known Telugu actress who has appeared in films like "Fidaa," where she played Sai Pallavi’s aunt, as well as in "Sriranga Neethulu," "Sarkaru Vaari Paata," "118," and "Anukokunda." She is also a celebrated poetess, whose poem inspired Tharun to make his first short film, which was highly praised.
