After the blockbuster hit “Salaar“, Malayalam star hero Prithviraj Sukumaran became well known among Telugu audiences as well. Even though his Malayalam films were dubbed in Telugu before, they didn’t make much of an impact. Acting as Prabhas’s friend in “Salaar”, he recently gained significant recognition. His latest film “The Goat Life: Aadujeevitham”, based on the novel “Goat Days” by Benyamin, was directed by Blessy and released in Malayalam as well as Telugu today. How did the film turn out (The Goat Life Review In Telugu)? Did it impress the audience or not? Let’s see.

    What’s the Story?

The Goat Life” tells the story of Najeeb Ahmed (Prithviraj Sukumaran) who goes to Saudi Arabia as a migrant worker to support his family. Unexpectedly, Najeeb gets lost in Saudi Arabia. His dream of working in the Gulf to earn money and support his family is shattered. He becomes a slave, forced to live a harsh life as a goat herder in the desert. What hardships does he endure? How does Najeeb escape from the chains of slavery? Did he return to India and reunite with his family or not? That’s the rest of the story.

    How Did They Perform?

Prithviraj Sukumaran carried “The Goat Life” on his shoulders with his performance and shocking transformation. It’s hard to imagine anyone else in the role of Najeeb; Prithviraj immersed himself in the character so deeply, especially in emotional scenes, delivering a career-best performance. Actress Amala Paul also played a key role and impressed with her performance within her scope. The rest of the cast justified their roles.

    How’s the Direction?

Director Blessy chose a heart-touching story for this film, showcasing the harsh realities of slave life. He portrayed how Prithviraj’s character comes to Saudi, gets his passport seized, and turns into a slave. Particularly, a scene before the interval is heart-wrenching. The film also depicts the atrocities in Saudi Arabia. In the second half, the hero’s escape from slavery and the difficulties he faces in the visible horizon of the desert are well captured, especially the sandstorm sequence is brilliantly filmed. However, focusing mostly on Prithviraj’s hardships throughout the film might feel monotonous and slow to the audience, making the film seem lengthy. Those who prefer commercial films might not enjoy “The Goat Life” as much.

    Technically

On the technical front (The Goat Life Review In Telugu), every department performed well. A.R. Rahman’s music is a significant plus for the film, with his background score elevating the scenes. The cinematographer also showcased the desert conditions in Saudi beautifully, offering a visual treat to the audience. The production values are high.
