This Week’s OTT &  Telugu Movie Releases  (2nd Feb 2024)

With the end of the Sankranti festivities, small films for this week’s release are now ready. This weekend, along with films like ‘Ambajipeta Marriage Band’ and ‘Bootcut Balraju,’ several dubbed movies are also making their way to theaters. Additionally, OTT platforms are also streaming a total of 21 new films/web series. Let’s take a look at their highlights.

Movies Releasing in Theaters

Ambajipeta Marriage Band

Director Venkatesh Maha, known for his acclaimed films like ‘C/o Kancharapalem’ and ‘Uma Maheshwara Ugra Roopasya,’ is now dedicated to ‘Ambajipeta Marriage Band.’ Featuring Suhass Hero in the lead role, this film is set to release on February 2nd. The recently released trailer offers a special glimpse of this movie.

Bootcut Balaraju

Starring Sohel of Bigg Boss fame and Ananya Nagalla, ‘Bootcut Balaraju’ is a film that has garnered attention in the media circuit. Directed by Sri Koneeti, this movie is set to hit theaters on February 2nd (Friday). The promotional materials for this film have already created buzz in the cinema world.

Dheera

Laksh Chadalavada, known for his roles in action and gangster films, is making a grand entry this week with ‘Dheera.’ This movie is produced by Padmavathi Chadalavada under the banner of Sri Tirumala Tirupati Venkateswara Films. Directed by Vikranth Srinivas, ‘Dheera’ is all set to hit theaters on February 2nd.

Happy Ending

‘Happy Ending,’ directed by Kaushik Bheemidi, starring Yash Puri, Apoorva Rao, and Sanjay Reddy in pivotal roles, is gearing up for a Sankranti release. Starting from February 2nd, this film will be available for streaming on Hotstar. It promises a comedy-filled story with an intriguing concept of how a curse affects the protagonist’s life.

Miss Perfect

Lavanya Tripathi stars in the latest web series ‘Miss Perfect.’ Abhijit, the winner of Bigg Boss, plays the lead role in this series. Vishwak Kanderaav helms this project. The series will start streaming on Hotstar from February 2nd. It’s a comedy-drama with a hint of Tom and Jerry’s humor, making it appealing to the audience, especially with Lavanya in the lead role.

Saindhav

Venkatesh’s latest film ‘Saindhav‘ which was released during the Sankranti festival may stream on OTT platforms from February 2nd. There are reports that it may even be released at 9 PM on Mahashivratri day. Amazon Prime will be showcasing this film, and an official announcement regarding the streaming date is expected. Clarification on this matter is expected this week.
