This Week’s OTT &  Telugu Movie Releases (Dec 1st )

This week, various movies and web series are ready to captivate audiences. December’s first week promises delightful entertainment. Between November 27 and December 3, several movies are set to make a splash in theaters, while new movies and web series are gearing up to stream on OTT platforms. Let’s look at what’s in store.

Theatrical Releases:

Animal

An action thriller directed by Sandeep Vanga and starring Ranbir Kapoor as the lead, featuring Rashmika as the heroine and Bobby Deol as the antagonist. Completed and ready for release on December 1 in both Hindi and Telugu, “Animal” has generated buzz due to its intriguing trailer and Sandeep Vanga’s direction, known for “Arjun Reddy”. The movie’s runtime is a notable 3 hours and 21 minutes.

Atharva

A crime thriller starring Karthik Raju, with Simran Choudary and Ira as the leading ladies. Directed by Mahesh Reddy and produced by Subhash Nuthalapati, the film, rich in crime and thrilling elements, promises to keep the audience engaged throughout. It’s scheduled for release on December 1.

Calling Sahasra

Featuring Sudigali Sudheer of “Jabardasth” fame and actress Dollysha, this film is directed by Arun Vikkirala and produced by Vijesh Tayal, Chiranjeevi Pamidi, and Venkateswarlu Katoori. A suspense thriller, it’s set for release on December 1 and is expected to attract the youth with its contemporary style.

Upendra Gadi Adda

A small-budget film releasing this week, starring Kancherla Upendra and Savitri Krishna, and directed by Aryan Subhan. Kancherla Achyutarao produced this commercial, mass-oriented film, which is tailored to the current trend and aims to captivate young audiences. It’s also scheduled for release on December 1.

Vikram Rathod

A bilingual (Telugu and Tamil) film directed by Babu Yogeswaran and starring Vijay Antony. Produced under Apollo Productions and SNS Movies by Ravoori Venkataswamy and S. Kaushalya Rani, it features prominent actors like Suresh Gopi, Ramya Nambisan, Sonu Sood, and Sangeetha. Music by Ilaiyaraaja, the film is set to release on December 1.

OTT Releases / Web Series:

Dhootha

A suspense thriller web series featuring Naga Chaitanya in the lead role of journalist Sagar, directed by Vikram K. Kumar. Consisting of eight episodes, “Dhootha” will start streaming on Amazon from December 1.
