Formula E : Sold out stands for ‘Hyderabad E-Prix’

The ‘City of Pearls’ is all set to host one of the biggest motorsports racing events in the world i.e, the Formula E.

The 4 th race of 2022 and 2023 Formula E season will take place in the Hyderabad street cricut which is located at the Necklace road.

Let’s take a look at details of the event.

The qualifying races will begin at 10:40 AM on February 10 and the pole position winner will start from the front on the main race which is scheduled on February 11.

Main Race :

A total of 22 drivers from 11 countries will compete in this mega event.

As of now none of the Indian team, driver or the manufacturer is eligible to compete in the event. The Indian Racing unit is pushing all the limits to secure a place in Formula E by next season.

The bookings have been started for the main event from January 4 on the platform Bookmyshow. The different ticket fares are as follows

The goal of Formula E racing is to promote renewable energy and lower carbon emissions. The Telangana government's policies are inline with "Formula E" racing's goals. As a result, Hyderabad has been chosen for racing by the International Automobile Federation (FIA).

There will be 17 rounds as part of this championship. The best cities in the world are hosting each round. Hyderabad was selected by the administrators for the fourth round. Hyderabad will host the 4th round of 17 races.

A 2.7-kilometer-long circuit named "Hyderabad Street Circuit" has been set up on the banks of Hussain Sagar lake. The circuit has 17 turns.

The partnership between Ace Nxt Gen Formula E and Telangana Government will continue for next four years. The Championship 2026 will reportedly be held in India.

This event will undoubtedly attract sponsorships from some of the biggest firms in the world because Hyderabad is already one of the cities with the fastest growth in the IT industry.
