Nani Mass Avatar, Is this the story of Dasara movie?
Nani set to break his lover-boy image with the pan-India release of 'Dasara'. In most of his previous films, Nani has been known for his roles as a lover boy and boy-next-door.
However, in the upcoming pan-India movie 'Dasara,' he will be seen in a new avatar and in 'an elevated Mass’ role.
Despite having intermittently acted in mass films throughout his career, Nani has not been able to achieve a mass image. However, with the success of his film ‘Shyam Singha Roy’, he has gotten closer to the mass audience, even though his first mass film, ‘Krishnarjuna Yudham’, was not a hit.

His upcoming 'Dasara' will be released on March 30 across the country in five languages (Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, and Telugu).
The story is reported to be based on the Godavarikhani Singareni collieries in Telangana, where people living in villages surrounding the coal mines are at risk of losing their lands due to Singareni's open-cast mines.

Nani will play the role of 'Dharani,'
a young man fighting for the people who lost their lands due to open-cast mining.
The film's teaser showcases the
backdrop of piles of coal around Erlapalli, and the dialogue of Nani “Mandaṇṭe.. Maku vyasanam kadu.. Alavaṭu paḍina sampradayam’ (booze is not an addiction for us. it's a tradition we've gotten used to) gives a nice rural vintage feeling.
Interestingly other elements related to the story can be seen in the latest poster of Nani's birthday, featuring a wine shop named Silk Bar and Singareni Mines.
With a budget of Rs.70 crores, 'Dasara' is being produced by Cherukuri Sudhakar under the banner of SLV Cinemas. The movie has already earned Rs.77 crores by selling theatrical and digital rights.
Directed by Srikanth Odela, 'Dasara' also stars Keerthy Suresh. Nani is excited about the film's unique storyline, which he hopes will help break his lover-boy image and establish him as a mass actor.
The success of the film will also be crucial for the new director's career.
