Thalapathy Vijay starrer "Varisu" released today amid much anticipation. Although both the Tamil and Telugu versions were planned to release on the same day, the makers changed their plans at the last minute.
The flick is directed by Vamsi Paidipalli and produced by Dil Raju. Thaman has produced the music for the film. Many Telugu actors, including Jayasudha and Srikanth, played pivotal roles in the film.
The story revolves around
a businessman, Rajendran (Sarath Kumar), choosing the ideal heir among his three sons for his business empire.
Story
Rajendran desires to hand over all his responsibilities to one of his three sons, Jai (Srikanth), Ajay (Shyam), and Vijay (Vijay).
However, things play out differently as Vijay has differences with his father and chooses to leave the house. while Ajay and Jai battle to win right over their father’s empire.
How does Vijay make his way back home and win his father’s trust? How does he deal with his father's enemies while keeping his family safe?
What are the internal conflicts in Vijay’s family? Rashmika: Who is she, and how will she fall in love with Vijay? One must find all these answers in theaters.
In the first half, the movie doesn't provide anything special or memorable. The selling points of the entire first half include Thalapathy's mass entrance in the song "Ra Thalaiva," as well as his renowned dancing and acting.
How is it?
A rich guy's standpoint on a family drama uses a framework that includes intense family emotions, a twist at the intermission, family disputes, and fight scenes in the finale. Overall, the plot doesn't present anything novel.
With his distinct sense of humor and commanding presence, Vijay astounds us, and the sentimental parts were successfully executed. Rashmika performed to the best of her ability.
Performances
The acting talents of Prakash Raj and Jayasudha are impressive. SJ Surya makes an impression with his performance, despite his short cameo.
Vamsi did a good job of putting the movie together; it has a lot of fan content, humor, and some awesome action parts. Clearly, he could have handled the script far better, but he chose to remain cautious.
Direction
He benefited much from Vijay's talent. The villain roles and love tale should have been improved. The same old, CEO-focused Telugu film was adapted into Tamil by Vamsi overall.
This movie's cinematography was fantastic. The production qualities are exceptional; each frame appears to be really posh and stylish. Thaman's music is a huge plus, and the editing went
very well as well.
Technical Aspects
People who can relate to family dramas will enjoy this film. "Varisu" will be an instant hit for Vijay's fans.
