Google has released the year-end trends and stats for a number of categories that people have been searching for throughout 2022.
Here is the list of most searched movies in India for the year 2022 according
to Google.
'RRR' and 'Pushpa' films from Tollywood have made it to this list. ‘Kantara’, ‘KGF2’ and Vikram movies are also ranked in the list.
The Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer "Brahmstra" is the most searched movie for the year 2022. The magnum opus is directed by Ayan Mkherji, and it performed well at the box office, minting 450 crore at
the global box office.
1. Brahmastra
The KGF: Chapter-2 came in second place on the list. This movie has created a storm at the box office. The film collected 1500 cores at the box office which is an all-time top 3 for an Indian film.

Despite numerous controversies surrounding the Vivek Agnihotri directed film, it surpassed all expectations and performed overwhelmingly at the Indian box office. The film grossed more than 250 crores at the box office.

Rajamouli’s periodic action movie "RRR" is one of the biggest films to release this year. It collected over 1200 crores at the box office and also received numerous international awards. ‘RRR’ is one of the favourite contestants at the Oscars.
