KS Ravikumar is an Indian film director, screenwriter, producer, and actor, primarily working in Tamil cinema. Ravikumar has assisted various directors such as Bharathiraja, Vikraman, E. Ramadoss, Nagesh, Ramarajan, and K. Rangaraj. He worked as an assistant director in the film Puthu Vasantham directed by Vikraman and produced by RB Choudary, which success led the producer to offer Ravikumar the opportunity to make his directorial debut.
