Actress Meena’s husband, Vidyasagar (48), passed away while battling a lung infection

Vidyasagar (48), the actress Meena’s husband, passed away yesterday at a hospital in Chennai after losing his battle with a lung infection.

Vidayasagar passed away despite the hospital’s doctors’ best attempts.Reportedly he was unwell since March 2022. He had COVID earlier this year but recovered, but in March he contracted a lung infection. Since then, he had been fighting this fatal infection, and he passed away yesterday at around 7 PM in the hospital. The cremation ceremony will take place today at 2 PM in Besant Nagar, Chennai.

Vidayasagar and Meena were married on July 12, 2009. Their one and only daughter, ‘Nainika’, made her big screen debut as a child artist in Vijay’s film ‘Theri’.
