The film ‘Pushpa 2‘, directed by Sukumar with Allu Arjun in the lead, is set to release in just over a week. With the release date approaching, the movie team is ramping up its promotions. Having already hosted massive events in Patna and Chennai, today (November 27) they planned another major event in Kerala. The film crew traveled from Hyderabad to Kochi on a special flight, where Allu Arjun received an unexpectedly grand welcome upon landing at the airport.
A Bustling Airport…
Upon Allu Arjun’s arrival at Kochi Airport, fans from Kerala gave him a grand welcome. Knowing about his arrival in advance, a large crowd gathered at the airport to greet him. As Bunny made his way out, the crowd cheered and tried to capture the moment on their phone cameras. The situation became so overwhelming that airport staff and police had to intervene to manage the excited fans. At one point, the noise and excitement reached such a level that Bunny had to cover his ears. Seeing the adulation Bunny received in a state away from home, Allu Arjun’s fans are ecstatic, commenting, “Wherever the king goes, he remains a king.”
Why Such a Craze in Kerala!
After Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Kerala has the largest following for Icon Star Allu Arjun. Locals affectionately call him ‘Mallu Arjun’. His early career film ‘Arya’ was a super hit in Kerala, running for over 100 days. From ‘Arya’ onwards, the people of Kerala embraced Allu Arjun as one of their own. Every film featuring Allu Arjun has been consistently released in Kerala and has received a response comparable to that in Telugu-speaking regions. His last film ‘Pushpa’ also achieved blockbuster success in Kerala. Given this background, ‘Pushpa 2’ has garnered high expectations among the Kerala audience, prompting the makers to plan a promotional event in Kochi.

The runtime for ‘Pushpa 2’ has been locked. Generally, Sukumar’s films are expected to last around three hours, as seen with his previous films ‘Rangasthalam’ and ‘Pushpa’, both of which were around three hours long and enjoyed blockbuster success. However, ‘Pushpa 2’ is expected to exceed three hours, with a strong buzz suggesting a runtime of 3 hours and 22 minutes as set by director Sukumar. In the US, ‘Pushpa 2’ is expected to release with a runtime of 3 hours and 15 minutes. The official duration will be announced after the censor board’s review.
