Dulquer Salman’s ‘Sita Ramam’ heading towards a 70 crore lifetime business

    August 16, 2022

Dulquer Salman’s ‘Sita Ramam’ has emerged as one of the biggest hits of Tollywood in 2022. The movie was released with the barest of hopes, but it ended up becoming a smash hit at the box office. The Hanu Raghavapudi-directed film has raked in 50 crore rupees worldwide; as the Hindi version of the film is yet to release the industry insiders predict that the film’s life-time business would be between 70 and 75 crore. The film is still doing rock solid business in the US; it has already crossed the 1 million mark.

Despite competition from other recent releases like “Karthikeya- 2” in Telugu, “Viruman” in Tamil, and Thallumaala in Kerala, the movie is still doing well in domestic markets. “Sita Rama” illustrates the influence of content and how strong content can work miracles at the box office.

The “Sita Ramam” film team is celebrating the enormous success of their movie. The entire team joined in a meet and greet with the Hyderabad audience yesterday. To see their beloved “Sita” and “Ram,” the public turned out in force. The session came to a close with the slicing of the cake after Dulquer Salman, Mrunal Thakur, and Hanu Raghavapudi thanked the crowd for their tremendous support.

‘Sita Ramam’ is set against the Kashmir backdrop of the 1960s. Dulquer Salman, Mrunal Thakur, Rashmika Mandanna and Sumanth played the key roles. Produced by Vyjayanthi movies and Swapna movies. Hanu Raghavapudi directed this classic love story.
