Gaami Movie: Censor Board Shocks ‘Gaami’.. I Won’t Do Such Things Anymore says ‘Vishwak Sen’

    March 5, 2024

Tollywood’s young hero Vishwak Sen stars in the latest film ‘Gaami’, directed by Vidyadhar Kagita. Set to release this Friday (March 8), the movie has garnered significant expectations from the audience thanks to its unique concept. The anticipation only grew following the trailer release, as the visuals promised a Hollywood-level visual treat, drawing everyone’s attention. The makers are confident that the movie will deliver a unique experience to the audience. However, the film recently received an unexpected shock from the censor board.

    Censor Completed.. But!

The makers announced through a poster that ‘Gaami’, a film with promising content, has completed the censor process. Surprisingly, the film has been granted an ‘A’ certificate, contrary to everyone’s expectation of a U/A certificate based on the trailer’s visuals. This suggests that the movie contains content suitable only for adults. The specifics of these scenes will remain a mystery until the film’s release.

‘Gaami Will Be My Last Of Its Kind In My Career’

During promotions for ‘Gaami’, hero Vishwak Sen participated in an interview where he made intriguing comments about the film. “Gaami is not just special to me but to the audience as well. We’ve been working on this film for nearly six years. The story, narrative, visuals, and graphics will offer the audience a completely new experience. Such films are rare, and this will be the last experimental film in my career. From now on, I’ll be making films with different stories that will captivate the fans,” he said.

    ‘Tears Of Joy’

Chandini Chowdary, of ‘Color Photo’, played a significant role in ‘Gaami’. In a recent interview, she shared some details about the film. “We shot ‘Gaami’ in real locations like Varanasi, Kumbh Mela, Kashmir, and the Himalayas. We faced many challenging situations during the shooting. This journey felt like an adventure. When I saw our movie trailer on the IMAX screen, I was moved to tears by the joy of seeing our hard work pay off,” Chandini shared.

    About Vishwak’s Remuneration

Vishwak Sen has been working on ‘Gaami’ for the past six years, raising curiosity about his remuneration for such a long-awaited project. It’s rumored in film circles that Vishwak didn’t take a single rupee for this film. As the film started six years ago, Vishwak wasn’t as famous then, and it’s understood that the movie was completed through crowdfunding. There’s a possibility that Vishwak might receive a significant share of the profits after the film’s release.
