    Gopichand ‘, Tollywood’s most popular action hero, has been delighting us for over two decades. He is one of the rare performers who can play any role perfectly. Gopichand’s career had it all: highs, lows, hits and flops.

    Hit Films

    Andhrudu (2005)

    After highly acclaimed negative roles in films Nijam, Jayam and Varsham, Gopichand returned to big screens as a Hero with his comeback film Yagnam (2005) which was a moderate success. Later that year Gopichand scored a big hit with Andhrudu (2005). This film gave the much needed break to this actor. To this day ‘Andhrudu’ movie is one of the most loved movies from Gopichand’s filmography.

    Ranam(2006)

    Amma Raja Shekar and Gopichand’s Ranam shook the box office back in 2006. This film cemented Gopichand’s name among the top tier stars list of Tollywood. 

    Lakshyam(2007)

    Action drama Lakshyam was one of the biggest blockbuster films of 2007. Lakshyam is made on a budget of 7 crore and did a business of 15 crore. It is directed by Srivaas and produced by Bujji.

    Souryam (2008) 

    Souryam is another action drama in this list. Gopichand‘s performance in this film was highly acclaimed. This film did blockbuster business at the box office.

    Golimaar (2010)

    Powerful director ‘Puri Jaganath’ joined hands with Gopichand and delivered a powerful film in the form of Golimaar. This cop turned gangster made a huge sensation in 2010. This movie is referred to as a cult classic from Gopichand’s filmography. Golimar made over 20 crores at the box office.

    Sahasam (2013)

    Sahasam is the second combination of Gopichand and director Chandra Sekar Yeleti. This treasure hunt film is widely acclaimed by the audience and critics. This flick will go down as the one of the best treasure hunt movies in Telugu cinema.

    Loukyam (2014)

    This action-comedy film has a special place in  Gopichand‘s career, the film made on a low budget but did a business of 21.6 crore at the boxoffice.
