Young hero Suhas is on a roll, releasing films back-to-back and delivering good hits with unique stories. His latest film ‘Janaka Aithe Ganaka’ falls in line with this streak. Sankirthana plays the heroine. The film is produced by Dil Raju Productions and directed by Sandeep Bandla. It was released on October 12, 2024, with premieres held two days earlier. So, how is this movie? Has Suhas delivered another hit? Let’s find out in this review.

    Plot

Prasad (Suhas) is a middle-class man who, due to financial limitations, feels he can’t provide “the best” for his children, so he decides not to have kids for the first two years of his marriage. His wife (Sankirthana Vipin) agrees with his decision, and his father (Goparaju Ramana) remains silent on the matter. However, unexpectedly, Prasad’s wife becomes pregnant. Convinced that the condom failed, Prasad decides to sue the company. How does the case proceed? What changes occur in Prasad’s life? Does he win the case? To find out, you have to watch the movie.

    Performance Analysis

Suhas shines once again in his role as a middle-class hero. He convincingly portrays a man who insists on not having children but ends up becoming a father. Sankirthana delivers an excellent performance as Prasad’s wife, playing the obedient and supportive homemaker. Rajendra Prasad, Murali Sharma, and Vennela Kishore all do justice to their roles, making for an impressive cast.

    Direction

Director Sandeep Reddy Bandla scored full marks for the storyline. He presents a fresh take, distinct from routine films. He paints a vivid picture of the life of a middle-class man, his struggles after marriage, and all the expenses involved. The scenes related to pregnancy are touching and connect well with couples who might have avoided having children. The court scenes are humorously portrayed, adding light-hearted moments to the narrative. While some court scenes and the logic around child expenses lack coherence, the humor compensates for these gaps. However, the predictable storyline and lack of significant twists are the negatives.

    Technical Aspects

In terms of technical aspects, the cinematography is well done. The background score is a major plus for the film, although the songs aren’t particularly memorable. Editing is just okay, while the production values are top-notch, with no compromises from the producers.

    • Fresh storyline
    • Suhas’s performance
    • Comedy
    • Music
