Allari Naresh’s “Itlu Maredumilli Prajaneekam” and the dubbing films “Love Today” and “Thodelu” hit the big screens last Friday. The trade expected a good weekend at the box office for all these films, as they carried a decent buzz around them.
“Itlu Maredumilli Prajaneekam” has gained a positive response from the audience, but the box office numbers weren’t affected by the positive reviews. The film underperformed at the box office despite being the only straight Telugu release of the week. In three days, Naresh’s film only made 2.5 crores.

‘Love Today (Telugu)’ Collections
Tamil actor/director Pradeep Rangathan’s “Love Today” has been dubbed into Telugu with the same title. The movie emerged as a big success in Tamil, and the three-day collections of the Telugu versions are very encouraging. The film achieved break even in just three days and was declared a box office success. “Love Today” is another dubbing hit at the Telugu box office this year.

‘Bhediya (Thodelu)’ Collections
The film “Bhediya,” starring Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon, is doing well at the box office.Though the film had an average start at the box office, it picked up well on days two and three. In three days, the flick earned 28 crore and was expected to do well even on weekdays.
Despite being dubbed into Telugu as “Thodelu,” the movie was not successful in drawing viewers. The movie ultimately failed to retain the audience’s attention notwithstanding some strong occupancy in the main metropolis and multiplexes.
