The re-release of Pawan Kalyan’s “Jalsa” has swept the film industry. A total of 3.5 crores have been made from the re-release shows. Records of this nature are only achievable for Pawan Kalyan. Rumors about the actor’s upcoming movies are rife on the internet as his admirers gradually come to terms with the end of their “Jalsa” frenzy. The forthcoming Powerstar project has been the subject of numerous rumours.
We’ve heard for a while now that filmmaker Harish Shankar has been patiently waiting for Pawan. He has the script for his “Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh” ready, but work on the project has been put on hold while Pawan approves it. Samuthirakani and Pawan had previously discussed “VInothaya Sitham,” remake but those discussions were halted because of Samuthirakani’s prior commitments.
Surprisingly, filmmaker Sujeet of “Saaho” and “Run Raja Run” fame, a fan of Pawan Kalyan, is said to have told the actor a story and convinced him for a new movie. Sujeeth and Pawan were going to remake “Theri,” but the Powerstar preferred his original script, therefore it was sealed. According to reports, DVV Danayya and director Trivikram will provide the funding.
Although none of the parties involved released an official statement, close associates of Pawan and Sujeet claim that a statement will be made in the next few days. Harish Shanker and Krish, who are the filmmakers, are surprised by Pawan’s sudden decision to sign the project with Sujeet.
