Currently, single-screen prices are ₹175, expected to rise to ₹300, and in multiplexes from ₹275 to ₹425 or more. With the movie being shown on 13,500 screens, ‘Pushpa 2’ is expected to collect nearly ₹350 crores on the first day alone. If this happens, ‘Pushpa 2’ could create history with the highest Day 1 gross in India, surpassing RRR’s current top spot with ₹223.5 crores. If the collection reaches over ₹350 crores on the first day, it could be said that Pawan’s support through the ticket price increase played a role.
