‘Ranga Ranga Vaibhavanga’ Review : A Routine family Drama with rich production values

    September 2, 2022

Panja Vaishnav Tej and Ketika Sharma starrer movie ‘Ranga Ranga Vaibhavanga’ has opened in theaters today. The crowd had a good amount of expectations for the film. Let’s find out if the movie lives up to the expectations.

    Plot

The plot centres on the love story of Rishi and Radha, who have known each other since they were young children. Somebody eventually falls in love but, because of their egotistical attitudes, refuses to accept it. But something unexpected occurs as they begin to comprehend one another and accept their differences. Does their romance develop into marriage? How do their families play a crucial role in their relationship?

    Analysis

Our directors have been pleasing the audience with this same plot for a very long time. We have been experiencing this typical family drama for years. Every scene appears predetermined and offers the audience nothing to think about. The movie runs smoothly for the first half. However, it would have been preferable if the director had given more attention to the second half. The narrative sags a little. Even the dramatic climax falls flat with the viewers.

The principal actors’ chemistry is a major asset for this movie. Romance, humour, and emotional components all came together pretty well. The main strengths of this movie are the songs and background music by DSP. Rich production values can be found.

    Performances

Panja Vaishnav Tej justified his role with a good performance throughout the film. Ketika Sharma, his love interest, is a real crowd-pleaser thanks to her stunning appearance and excellent on-screen persona. Her acting earned her high scores. Satya  keeps the crowd laughing with his signature comedic lines. He portrayed the Sarpanch in this movie. Naveen Chandra performed his part flawlessly. The parts played by Naresh, Prabhu, Tulsi, and Subbaraju were appropriate.
