Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s new movie, “Dhamaka,” was released in theaters this Friday and is doing well at the box office. The movie was released to positive reviews from critics and audiences. The movie is directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina and produced by People’s Media Factory. Sreeleela played the female lead in this film.

‘Dhamaka’ had strong night shows after a sluggish start in the morning shows and a significant uptick after lunchtime. Overall the film has fetched 5-6 crore worldwide share and earned 8-9 crore worldwide gross on its day one. ‘If “Dhamaka” is to surpass the break-even point of 18 crore, it must maintain the same speed.
On the other hand, James Cameron’s “Avatar” is having great success at the box office; on its seventh day in India, the movie has made almost Rs. 15 crore. While “Circus,” starring Ranveer Singh, debuted with 6.5 crores.
