Samantha’s ‘Yashoda’ made 17 crore worldwide gross on its opening weekend

Samantha’s new movie, “Yashoda,” was released on November 11, 2022. The psychological thriller has earned positive reviews from all sections of the audience and critics. Samantha’s performance was praised as one of her best in her career.

Yashoda started its box office journey on a positive note on domestic and international markets. The film grossed Rs. 4 crore on its first day.In three days, “Yashoda” has grossed 9.3 crore in Telugu states and a worldwide gross of 16.7 crore. 

Although the film was released in both Telugu and Tamil markets, the Telugu version generated 95% of the revenue.Yashoda has picked well for the weekend, but the film still needs to go a long way to be called a hit in the domestic market. Whereas “Yashoda” crossed the break-even mark in overseas markets by collecting more than 4 crore. The flick should continue its momentum on weekdays to inch closer to its break-even target in local markets. 

The Samantha starrer is directed by Hari and Harish. Mani Sharma has produced the music. Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar, Unni Mukundan, Rao Ramesh, and Sampath Raj have appeared in key roles.
