‘SDT 18’ is being made on a budget of nearly ₹120 crores, making it the most expensive film in Sai Durgha Tej’s career. Directed by Rohit KP, this period action drama is rumored to unfold between 1947-67. Set against the backdrop of Rayalaseema, the story details are kept under wraps. According to a making video released, extensive sets have been built to recreate a vintage village. A glimpse of heroine Aishwarya Lekshmi was also shown in one shot. Tej is set to appear in a powerful, mass-driven role, undergoing a complete makeover for this film. The makers are planning to release this film in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam.
