Even on bad days, the Internet never fails to entertain us. The fun got even better yesterday, when the internet and Gujarat Titans opening batsman Shubman Gill got into a friendly match on Twitter.
Shubman Gill urged Spacex founder and Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, to buy Swiggy, the food delivery app. Gill posted a snarky tweet on Twitter addressing his dissatisfaction with Swiggy. Gill’s tweet hints that he is unhappy with Swiggy’s delivery timings.
Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, recently purchased Twitter for a staggering 42 billion dollars. This is regarded as one of the most significant buyouts in history. On April 4th, 2022, Musk began tweeting about acquiring this social media network, and on April 25th, 2022, he completed the purchase. Following Musk’s acquisition of Twitter, netizens have rushed to Twitter to share their humorous concerns while tagging Elon Musk in their tweets.
Shubman Gill, who is also a Twitter user, tagged Musk in a tweet. He mentioned Elon Musk in his tweet asking him to purchase the food delivery app Swiggy so that the delivery timings may get better.
Elon musk, please buy swiggy so they can deliver on time. @elonmusk #swiggy

Since then Gill’s tweet has been making a stir on this platform. His tweet was liked and retweeted by his followers. Many Swiggy spoof accounts and Twitter users, on the other hand, ridiculed him with hysterical tweets and memes. He was mocked with Tiger Shroff’s popular dialogue “Choti Bachi Ho Kya” from his debut flick Heropanthi. He was also pointed out for his inconsistency in this year’s IPL.
Take a look at some of the funny reactions.

Aside from these amusing responses, Swiggy’s official Twitter account responded to his tweet by asking him to DM his order issue so that they could resolve it as soon as possible.
Hi Shubman Gill. Twitter or no Twitter, we just want to make sure all is well with your orders (that is if you’re ordering).
