Suriya’s pay for his cameo role in ‘Vikram’ will shock you

A huge celebrity cast requires a large sum of money. In terms of star’s remuneration, it is reported that Kamal Hassan has charged ‘Vikram’ a massive paycheck of 50 crores. While Vijay Sethupathi was paid roughly ten crores, Fahadh was paid four crores. Surprisingly, the X factor in this film is Suriya’s cameo role, for which he charged no remuneration. Suriya is said to have always looked forward to sharing the screen alongside his idol, Kamal Hassan. The ‘Jai Bhim’ star paid back his gratitude to his idol with a kind gesture.

During the promotions of ‘Vikram’, Kamal Hassan claimed that he had doubts about Suriya accepting to play a cameo role in ‘Vikram’, but to his surprise, the ‘Jai Bhim’ star consented right away when Kamal Hassan called him, and his role was shot in just two days.
