Meanwhile, an elderly man, who looks just like Ramu, is killing corrupt individuals. Who is this old man? What is his relation to Ramu? How do they confront the CM's conspiracies? That is the story.

Post 'Seema Simham', 'Okka Magadu' saw Simran pairing up with Balakrishna for the last time, which unfortunately became one of the biggest flops in Balakrishna's career. Overall, out of five films, except for one, the rest were well-received by the audience, marking their collaboration as predominantly successful.

After his wife is killed in factional violence, Narasimha Naidu moves away with his son and lives as a dance master. The story takes a turn when Anjali, the daughter of his enemy, falls in love with him.

Their third film, 'Narasimha Naidu' (2001), turned out to be a hat-trick hit for the duo, triumphing in the Sankranti race with record-breaking box office collections. Directed by B. Gopal, it solidified their status as a hit pair.

    4 . Goppinti Alludu(July 21 , 2000)
    U|160 minutes|Drama
Murali (Balakrishna), the son of industrialist SVR (SP Balasubrahmanyam), returns to India from the States after graduation. SVR fixes Murali's marriage with a stubborn girl, Balamani (Sadika), but Murali flees back to Switzerland and falls in love with Soumya there.

Following the success of 'Samarasimha Reddy', Balakrishna and Simran returned in 'Goppinti Alludu' (2000), directed by EVV Satyanarayana. The film received mixed reactions but managed to create a buzz.

    5 . Samarasimha Reddy(January 13 , 1999)

In his quest for vengeance for his family's murder, Samarasimha Reddy accidentally kills an innocent man named Vasu. He then gets close to Vasu's family under a false identity and tries to take care of them.

The first film to feature the Balakrishna-Simran duo, 'Samarasimha Reddy' (1999), released during Sankranti, became an industry hit. Directed by B. Gopal, this film set the bar high for their on-screen chemistry.
