Nivetha Thomas excels as Saraswati, embodying the role of a mother of two, a wife, and an educator with finesse. Her expressions and emotional depth stand out. Priyadarshi, as the math teacher Chanakya, delivers a memorable performance, portraying a strict yet caring teacher. The dynamic between Nivetha and Chanakya is one of the pillars of this film. Vishwadev does well as the husband. The two children playing Arun and Varun captivate with their performances. Bhagyaraj, Krishna Teja, and others contribute significantly in other key roles.







Direction



Director Nandakishore Imani crafted '35 Chinna Katha Kaadu' with a message-oriented approach, highlighting flaws in the educational system. He also explores how teachers should interact with students and the dynamics between spouses. The first half is filled with humor and family emotions, which are engaging. The chemistry between Nivetha Thomas and Vishwadev, portraying middle-class life, is well depicted. The school environment and the challenges faced by students are convincingly shown. Emotional scenes in the family in the second half are touching. However, the film’s pace can be slow at times, and the lack of commercial elements and some dialogues might not hit the mark with all viewers.

In the technical department, the music and cinematography are well-executed. Vivek Sagar’s background score is a significant plus, enhancing the emotional scenes. The editing is decent, though a tighter cut in some dragging scenes would have been beneficial. The production values are high, reflecting a no-compromise approach in terms of quality.

If this happens, 'Pushpa 2' could create history with the highest Day 1 gross in India, surpassing RRR’s current top spot with ₹223.5 crores. If the collection reaches over ₹350 crores on the first day, it could be said that Pawan’s support through the ticket price increase played a role.

The tech giant Honor, originating from China, is all set to launch its latest tablet in India. Named "Honor Pad 9," this tablet is quickly gearing up for its release in India. Honor unveiled this tablet to the world at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) event in Barcelona last month. Having already been available in China, where it received positive feedback, preparations are now underway to launch the "Honor Pad 9" in India as well, according to CP Khandelwal, the managing director of H-Tech Joint. The "Honor Pad 9" tablet features a 12.1-inch 2.5K display with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 500 nits. It runs on the MagicOS 7.2 operating system and is powered by a processor that works in conjunction with an Adreno 710 GPU graphics card.







RAM &amp; Storage



The Honor Pad 9 tablet will come to the market equipped with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, also supporting memory expansion. This means that the storage capacity can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card.







Big Battery



The Honor Pad 9 model houses an 8300mAh battery, which supports 35 watts of fast charging. On the day of the launch, it was announced that the battery could support up to 8 hours of continuous video playback.







Camera



The Honor Pad 9 tablet is equipped with a 13MP rear camera that supports 4K video recording. It also includes features such as portrait and HDR modes. Additionally, for selfies and video calls, there’s an 8MP front camera fixed on this remarkable tablet.







Connectivity Features



This new Honor tablet comes with various connectivity features including Wi-Fi 802, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type C, and OTG. Additionally, the tablet is equipped with a dual microphone setup. The company has incorporated 8 speakers into this device, promising a loud sound and a great experience, as per Honor officials. The tablet has a thickness of 6.96mm and weighs 555 grams.

The Honor Pad 9 tablet is expected to be launched in three colors: Azure, White, and Gray, making its debut in India in these options.

Janhvi Kapoor, daughter of Sridevi and Bollywood beauty, stars opposite Tarak, while noted Hindi actor Saif Ali Khan plays the antagonist, generating nationwide buzz. With over 500 premieres in the Telugu states, the advance booking trends worldwide suggest that 'Devara' will easily garner over ₹120 crores on its first day. Let's explore how this is possible.



₹125 Crores Confirmed for Day One!



Tarak's 'Devara' has already broken several records before its release, creating massive hype. Tickets worldwide are selling like hotcakes. The governments of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have even allowed an increase in ticket prices. Record-breaking presales are happening overseas. Given this backdrop, it is evident that 'Devara' will easily gross over ₹125 crores on its first day, and industry insiders estimate that an additional ₹10-15 crores wouldn't be surprising. According to pre-bookings, the film is expected to earn ₹65 crores in the two Telugu states alone, with ₹8-10 crores coming from Hindi-speaking regions. Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, and the rest of India could collectively contribute another ₹10-15 crores. Overseas, 'Devara' is set to make a significant impact, with trade circles predicting an easy ₹30-35 crores on the first day alone. Overall, the film is firmly expected to cross ₹125 crores on its opening day.







What's the Break-Even Target?



The pre-release business for 'Devara,' directed by Koratala Siva and starring NTR, has been phenomenal. Theatrical rights alone have been sold for ₹185 crores, according to trade sources. In the two Telugu states, the rights went for ₹115 crores, with the Nizam area alone fetching ₹45 crores. Ceded region reported ₹22 crores in business, while Karnataka saw ₹15 crores, Tamil Nadu ₹6 crores, and Kerala ₹0.5 crores. In the US, the film sold for ₹26 crores and ₹15 crores in the Hindi belt. In total, all areas combined for a pre-release business of ₹185 crores. If the film collects a share of ₹200 crores, it will break even.







Anirudh's First Review of 'Devara'



Young music sensation Anirudh Ravichander provided the soundtrack for 'Devara.' In a recent interview, he commented on the film's hype: "I was amazed during the scoring of the background music. I kept wondering how they managed to make such a great film. It's a wonderful action drama. Such films allow for creative experiments in music. We aimed to provide a fresh experience for the audience, completing 95% of the recording work overseas. Watching 'Devara' will give you a feeling similar to watching Hollywood films like Avengers and Batman. It has emotion, drama, action, and intensity.
