Simbaa



Directed by Muralee Manohar Reddy and featuring Jagapathi Babu and Anasuya in lead roles, 'Simbaa' is written and dialogued by Sampath Nandi. This film, which recently released in theaters and received average reviews, is set to stream on Aha from September 6. The plot follows two individuals associated with the Partha group who are murdered. The police arrest a teacher named Akshika (Anasuya) and a journalist named Fazil (Maganti Srinath) in connection with the murders. Yet another member of the Partha gang is murdered. The plot centers on an innocent person who is wrongfully convicted in a rape and murder case. The sentencing judge dies of grief. The judge’s son sets out to capture the real perpetrator, kidnapping six suspects to uncover the truth, leading to shocking revelations. What happened next?







Adios Amigo



Starring Suraj Venjaramoodu and Asif Ali, the Malayalam comedy entertainer 'Adios Amigo' released in Malayalam on August 9 and has received positive reviews. It will be available on Netflix from September 6 and can be watched in Telugu as well. The plot revolves around Priyan (Suraj), who is in financial trouble, struggling even to fund his mother’s heart surgery. He meets a wealthy prince (Asif), who speaks freely with everyone. What troubles does Priyan encounter because of the prince? Was Priyan able to borrow money from the prince? Did he manage to get treatment for his mother?







Irul



Starring Fahadh Faasil, Manjummel Boys fame Soubin Shahir, 'Irul', a film with just three characters, is directed by Naseef Yusuf Izuddin in an experimental style. The story, which revolves around Fahadh Faasil, Darshana Rajendran, and Soubin Shahir, takes place entirely within a single house. Starting September 6, this film can be watched on Aha. Currently available in Tamil, preparations are underway to release the Telugu version soon. The plot unfolds as Alex (Soubin Shahir), a writer, and his girlfriend Archana (Darshana Rajendran) set out on a car trip. Stranded in a forest area, they seek shelter in a nearby house. Among the interesting films and series released on OTT last week, the series 'IC814: The Kandahar Hijack' stands out. Based on a real event, this series is a must-watch this weekend for a thrilling experience. Weekend OTT Telugu Movies: Enjoy This Vinayaka Chavithi with These Weekend OTT Releases


The upcoming major pan-Indian film from the Tamil film industry, "Kanguva," has garnered immense interest among viewers. Suriya stars in a leading role in this film, which is currently being promoted in all languages, with a special focus on Telugu and Tamil through various events to attract more attention.



Amid these promotional activities, the film crew received distressing news. The editor of the film, Nishad Yusuf, died under suspicious circumstances, which has deeply disturbed the team. He was found dead in his apartment in Kochi, causing a stir in the cinema community. Nishad, who was actively involved in the editing of the film, died suddenly at 2 AM, confirmed by the police. His body was found lifeless in his apartment in Panampilly Nagar, Kochi. With various suspicions arising, the police have registered a case and are conducting an investigation. They are interrogating residents of the apartment as well as Nishad's close friends and are looking into disputes among family members. However, his relatives insist that he had no troubles that would lead him to take his own life. The police are urged to conduct a thorough investigation. Nishad's death has plunged the Tamil and Malayalam film industries into mourning, with many industry leaders coming to pay their last respects.







Nishad Yusuf had worked on several intriguing films in Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam languages, including "Audios Amigos," "Unda," "One," "Petarap," and "Saudi Vellakka," contributing significantly through his editing work. His sudden demise is a significant loss to the film industry. His last project, the massive pan-Indian film "Kanguva," is set to release on November 14. This tragic event has hit the film unit hard, just 15 days before the movie's release.



The team of "Kanguva" has expressed their shock over Nishad Yusuf's death. The hero, Suriya, stated that the news deeply upset him and he prayed for peace for Nishad's soul.







Meanwhile, promotions for the "Kanguva" movie are progressing rapidly in both Tamil and Telugu. Suriya himself is busy with press meets in Telugu. On Sunday, he visited the Bigg Boss house and interacted with the contestants along with Nagarjuna. Suriya has also started promotions in the Hindi belt. Alongside heroine Disha Patani and Bobby Deol, who plays the villain in the film, he is actively participating in the promotional activities. The film is scheduled for a global theatrical release on November 14.



The makers of "Kanguva" aim to release the film simultaneously in eight languages. Producer KA Gnanavel shared that while Suriya has dubbed for the Tamil version, AI-assisted dubbing is being used for other languages. This marks the first time AI is being utilized in Kollywood for dubbing purposes. The recent release "Vettaiyan" employed AI to alter Amitabh Bachchan’s voice, and now the complete dubbing for "Kanguva" is being done using AI, indicating a successful experiment, as believed by the producer. The film will be released in all major Indian languages as well as in English, French, and Spanish, with release dates for Chinese and Japanese to be announced soon.







With a target of Rs. 1000 crore in collections, "Kanguva" is set for a grand release, as recently stated by producer Gnanavel. The stories for parts 2 and 3 are also ready, and if the first part is successful, plans to produce these sequels will proceed. The producer has expressed confidence that this film will elevate Suriya to a new level, with a strong emphasis on action and emotions in the movie, which is currently being shot at a brisk pace. Disha Patani stars opposite Suriya, and Bobby Deol, famous for "Animal," plays the villain. Suriya will appear as a warrior named Kanga in the film.
