This year, the Academy extended invitations to 487 new members from 57 countries, including other prominent Indian figures such as Shabana Azmi, Ritesh Sidhwani, and Ravi Varman.

Last year, several Tollywood celebrities, including 'RRR' stars Ram Charan and Jr NTR, as well as Keeravani, Chandrabose, and Senthilkumar, secured membership in the Oscar Academy. 'RRR' Raises Rajamouli’s Profile
Last year, the movie 'RRR,' featuring Jr NTR and Ram Charan, made history by winning both the 'Golden Globes' and an 'Oscar.' The song "Naatu Naatu" from the movie received the Oscar for Best Original Song. At the Oscar ceremony, James Cameron, who was present, met Rajamouli and commented that he had seen 'RRR' and found it spectacular, even recommending it to his wife. Following 'RRR', Rajamouli is set to direct his next movie with Mahesh Babu. Rumored to be the highest budget film in Indian movie history, its casting is still underway. There is also talk that Rajamouli will present Mahesh Babu in a never-before-seen avatar, and he plans to produce the film on a pan-world scale with world-class technicians.
