The entire nation is eagerly awaiting the release of 'Kalki 2898 AD'. Directed by Nag Ashwin and featuring global icon Prabhas, this film is set to debut on June 27. In it, Prabhas portrays Bhairava, and an AI-powered machine known as 'Bujji' plays a significant role, with Keerthi Suresh lending her voice to Bujji. To introduce Bhairava and Bujji to the audience, the Kalki team has launched an innovative animated series titled 'Bujji And Bhairava' on Amazon Prime. The first two episodes are already available, and two more are planned for release after the movie premieres. What insights into the characters of Bujji and Bhairava do these episodes offer? Let's explore. Who is Bujji? The animated series introduces Bujji as an Artificial Intelligence device coded as BU-JZ-1, linked to a powerful ship. This device successfully completes 99 missions and is in the midst of its 100th when it is attacked. Although the vehicle is destroyed, the core device survives, as depicted in brief glimpses. The attack thwarts Bujji’s intended relocation to a complex, represented as a large triangle in the series. When Prabhas first comes across this small device, he interprets the full code name BU-JZ-1 as 'Bujji' and names it accordingly. What about Bhairava's crazy role? Like Bujji, Bhairava (Prabhas) dreams of moving to the complex, but it requires a million units, a currency reminiscent of crypto-currency in 2898. Bhairava lives with the goal of earning money to reach his destination. However, the series does not reveal much about Bhairava's background. It is interesting that Brahmanandam appears as the house owner where Bhairava lives. The comedy between Brahmanandam and Prabhas in the two-episode series works well. According to the legends, Kalki is born in Shambhala City, but in this movie, Prabhas's character Bhairava is based in Kasi City. Review "Bahubali: Crown of Blood" showcases strong graphic work, dynamic battle sequences, and interesting character developments, particularly with the well-crafted villain, Raktadev. His menacing presence is well executed, reminiscent of the formidable villains in Rajamouli’s previous films. A notably captivating aspect is Kattappa’s unexpected alliance with Raktadev. The series introduces a range of unique weapons, but may not entirely meet the high expectations set by the original Bahubali films. The animated version of Prabhas’s character might not appeal strongly to fans, and the Telugu dubbing is somewhat lacking.
