Performances Raj Tarun delivers a commendable performance in dual dimensions as Rachit Ram, convincingly playing both a billionaire and an unidentifiable common man. Hasini Sudheer, as the village girl Ammu, shines beautifully on screen, and the love scenes between Raj Tarun and Ammu are pleasing. Praveen provides comic relief in the friend’s role, while other comedians like Satya and Brahmanandam shine throughout the film. Direction We've seen many films where a wealthy young man lives as a common man for various reasons. Director Ram Bhimana has crafted 'Purushothamudu' in a similar vein. The real story begins when the wealthy hero reaches the village of Rayapulanka. The introductions and romantic scenes with the heroine are engaging. The first half is entertaining with village backdrop comedy, and the hero's stance against injustices in the village makes for an appealing interval bang. However, the narrative seems to lose track in the second half, meandering predictably and boringly without any significant twists. The climax, although predictable, is somewhat saved by Prakash Raj's entry and his impactful dialogues. Director Ram Bhimana fails to bring any novelty to the story or narration. Technically Musically, Gopi Sundar’s contributions are just passable, with none of the songs being particularly memorable. The background score is decent. PG Vinda’s cinematography is impressive, capturing the essence of village life beautifully. The editing is adequate, and the production values are suitably high for the film.       Amazon has announced the dates for the Great Indian Festival 2024 sale. Officially starting from September 29, the end date of the sale has not been disclosed. During the sale, Amazon promises hefty discounts on a wide range of smartphones from popular brands like Realme, OnePlus, POCO, and Samsung. According to Amazon's landing page, 5G smartphones will start at a low price of ₹8,999. Discounts of up to 70% on kitchenware and up to 50% on home decor items are available. Clothing and beauty products will see discounts ranging from 50% to 80%. Daily necessities such as Pampers, washing machine liquids, and protein powders will also be discounted by up to 70%. Health and household products can be purchased at up to 50% off, and food and beverage items are available at discounts of up to 70%. Amazon Fresh products are being offered at up to 50% off. Kitchen essentials are available at up to 40% off, and household cleaning products at up to 30% off. Significant reductions are available on various smartphone models like OnePlus 12, OnePlus 12R, OnePlus 11R, OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite, OnePlus Nord CE 4, Realme GT 6T, and Narzo 70 Pro. iQOO models such as the iQOO 12, iQOO Neo 9 Pro, iQOO Z9 Lite, iQOO Z9, and iQOO Z9s Pro are also available at reduced prices. Special discounts are also being offered on Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy M15, and Xiaomi smartphones. Other brands like OPPO, Vivo, Honor, and Tecno are available at competitive prices. The sale includes substantial discounts on other electronic products as well. Smartphone accessories are discounted by up to 80%, laptops by up to 40%, and smart TVs can be purchased starting at just ₹6,999. Washing machines are available at up to 60% off, including top load, front load, and semi-automatic models. Refrigerators are being offered at up to 55% off, available in single door, double door, and side-by-side models. Air conditioners are available at up to 55% off, including split, window, and inverter AC models. Smartwatches start at just ₹799, and headphones at ₹699. Amazon devices like Echo speakers and Fire TV sticks start from ₹1,999. Purchases made with SBI bank cards are eligible for an additional 10% instant discount. Flipkart’s Big Billion Days 2024 also starts on September 27, with early access for Plus members from September 26. Additional discounts are available for purchases made with HDFC credit and debit cards.
