Performances Nivetha Thomas excels as Saraswati, embodying the role of a mother of two, a wife, and an educator with finesse. Her expressions and emotional depth stand out. Priyadarshi, as the math teacher Chanakya, delivers a memorable performance, portraying a strict yet caring teacher. The dynamic between Nivetha and Chanakya is one of the pillars of this film. Vishwadev does well as the husband. The two children playing Arun and Varun captivate with their performances. Bhagyaraj, Krishna Teja, and others contribute significantly in other key roles. Direction Director Nandakishore Imani crafted '35 Chinna Katha Kaadu' with a message-oriented approach, highlighting flaws in the educational system. He also explores how teachers should interact with students and the dynamics between spouses. The first half is filled with humor and family emotions, which are engaging. The chemistry between Nivetha Thomas and Vishwadev, portraying middle-class life, is well depicted. The school environment and the challenges faced by students are convincingly shown. Emotional scenes in the family in the second half are touching. However, the film’s pace can be slow at times, and the lack of commercial elements and some dialogues might not hit the mark with all viewers. Technically In the technical department, the music and cinematography are well-executed. Vivek Sagar’s background score is a significant plus, enhancing the emotional scenes. The editing is decent, though a tighter cut in some dragging scenes would have been beneficial. The production values are high, reflecting a no-compromise approach in terms of quality.       'Devara', an action drama directed by Koratala Siva starring Jr. NTR with Janhvi Kapoor as the heroine. After many years, Jr. NTR performed dual roles in this film, portraying the characters Devara and Vara. Saif Ali Khan played the antagonist, while Prakash Raj, Srikanth, and Shine Tom Chacko played key roles. The script was carefully crafted by Koratala, reflecting his experience with 'Acharya'. The dialogues in the film are particularly impactful and linger even after the movie ends. The dialogues, especially those delivered by Jr. NTR, Prakash Raj, Saif Ali Khan, and Janhvi Kapoor, resonate well with their characters and are sure to draw cheers. Ee bhayame neelanti vallu entha mandi vachina, entha aasha chupina, ikkada unnavaallu ee samudram joli ki matrame raaru." The dialogue Prakash Raj delivers while introducing Devara makes the fans blow whistles. Ajay: Kallu moosina, terisina samudramlo chusinde kanipistondi. Asalu evaru vallantha.. evaru chesaru idantha?   Prakash Raj: "Chala pedha katha saami, rakthamto sandrame erupekkina katha."   Ajay: "Evari katha?"   Prakash Raj: "Padi padi leche samudram meeda padakunda nilabadina vaadi katha.. maa Devara katha."   "Bhayam povalante devudi katha vinalaa, bhayam ante ento teliyalante Devara katha vinalaa."   "Kulam ledu, matham ledu, bhayam ledu, variki telisindi dhairyame." The dialogues Devara speaks about his father to his son Varan in that context are also good. Varam (Jr. NTR): Abba eppudu mee nanna kathalu, valla nanna kathalu chebutuntaav..! Maa nanna katha cheppu, Devara katha cheppu naaku!   Devara: Taruvatha taraniki cheppukunetantha kathalu kavuraa.. mee nayanavi. Maa nayanollaavi desam kosam poraadina veerula kathalu. The dialogues in the scene where Devara first confronts the arms dealers are powerful. Mee ayudhalu manchini champadanki puttay."   Villain: Maatalu ekkuva avutunnay, samudram ekkala, samudram elala? The dialogue NTR delivers when Konda in Devara's gang turns against them is superb. Before the interval bang, there is an action sequence with NTR. Devara kills everyone who attacks him, turning the sea red with their blood. Tamil actress Kasthuri's recent comments have caused severe uproar in the Telugu states. During an event organized in Gurumoorthy Nagar in Chennai, she joined the BJP and targeted the DMK and the Karunanidhi family. She remarked that Telugu people, who initially came to serve in the royal courts 300 years ago, are now claiming Tamil identity, questioning who are others to deny Tamil identity to the Brahmins who came here long ago. She suggested that Dravidian ideologists oppose Brahmins merely because they advise against coveting others' wives, and thus, they oppose Sanathana Dharmam. She also claimed that speaking Telugu alone is enough to become ministers in Tamil Nadu, noting that five Telugu ministers are currently in the DMK government. Impact on Tamil History One of the prominent dynasties that ruled Tamil Nadu was the Cholas, among whom Kulottunga Chola-I was of Telugu descent. His father was Rajaraja Narendra, a ruler from the Vengi Chalukya dynasty who governed the region between Krishna and Godavari in present-day Andhra Pradesh. Kulottunga Chola’s mother, Ammangaidevi, was a princess in the Chola realm. After her father's death, instability plagued the Chola kingdom, leading Kulottunga to safeguard his grandfather's empire and continue ruling there. His descendants also successfully ruled Tamil Nadu. From 1061-1118, Kulottunga ruled as a Chalukya emperor, but his son Vikrama Chola became a Chola emperor, illustrating that the blood of Telugu Chalukyas was present in him. Historians often state that a Telugu person ruled the great Tamil kingdom of the Cholas, clearly marking the impact of Telugu culture on Tamil history. In 1639, Damerla Chennappa Nayakudu, a prince under Venkatapati Nayak, a lord from the Andhra Padmanayaka dynasty, governed the area. The British, under the East India Company, settled there and later renamed the area as Madras. Over time, the area became known as Madras, but locals preferred to call it Chennai Pattinam or Chennapuri. Between 1932-36, Bobbili Raja, Sri Ramakrishna Ranga Rao, served as the Chief Minister of the Madras Presidency. Rao Bahadur Kurma Venkata Reddy Naidu worked as the Governor of Madras. Even before the split, Prakasam Pantulu, a Telugu person, served as the Chief Minister of the united Madras state. The first three graduates in law from Madras University were Telugu.
