Chiranjeevi - Balakrishna: Director Accepts Chiranjeevi's Challenge to Make a Multi-Starrer with Balakrishna?
Chiranjeevi - Balakrishna: Director Accepts Chiranjeevi's Challenge to Make a Multi-Starrer with Balakrishna?
Tollywood's leading actor, Nandamuri Balakrishna, has completed 50 years in the film industry. In this context, the grand NBK 50 Years Celebrations event was held on Sunday (September 1). Film and political dignitaries attended the event to reminisce about their connections with Balakrishna and his acting career. Megastar Chiranjeevi, who was the chief guest, made some intriguing comments at the event and offered a bumper offer to director Boyapati and other scriptwriters. This has now become a hot topic in Tollywood. Green Light for a Multi-Starrer with Balayya At Balakrishna's golden jubilee celebrations, Megastar Chiranjeevi made some exciting comments. He expressed his pleasure in participating in Balayya's 50-year celebration, emphasizing that it was not only a celebration for Balakrishna but for the entire Telugu film industry. He praised Balakrishna as a synonym for faction movies in the industry. Chiru mentioned that Balakrishna inspired him to make the movie 'Indra'. He said if any director or writer comes up with a good story involving characters like Indrasena Reddy and Samarasimha Reddy, he would be ready to act. Promptly, Balakrishna also agreed by saying "double okay" when Chiru asked "Are you ready?" Specifically pointing to director Boyapati Srinu, Chiru challenged him to come up with a story, and also mentioned YVS Chowdary's name in this context. https://twitter.com/i/status/1830519890249421017 Why Boyapati? Many directors attended Balakrishna's golden jubilee event from the industry, but Chiru specifically mentioned Boyapati Srinu for a strong reason. Among current directors, Boyapati is known as a caretaker of action films and has directed blockbuster films with senior actor Balakrishna such as 'Simha', 'Legend', and 'Akhanda'. Chiru might believe that only Boyapati could do justice to such a massive multi-starrer, which is why he specifically called out "Oi Boyapati.. Challenge" suggesting that analysts believe Chiru anticipated Boyapati could handle this project. At the same time, senior director YVS Chowdary and other scriptwriters were also indirectly encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity. YVS Chowdary Steps into the Arena? It's known that director and producer YVS Chowdary has come forward ready to write roles for Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna, taking inspiration from movies like 'Indra' and 'Samarasimha Reddy'. Efforts in this direction have already started within the industry. YVS Chowdary, a die-hard fan of the Nandamuri family, has a strong connection with them and has directed films with Balakrishna and Harikrishna in the past. Though he had been away from the industry for some time, he has recently announced a new project. If he manages to convince Chiru and Balayya with his story, it could lead to a never-before-seen multi-starrer in Tollywood. Chiru's Crazy Comments on Fan Wars With the recent increase in fan wars on social media, Chiru made interesting comments at Balakrishna’s golden jubilee event. "Fans often fight, but events like these show the strong bonds between heroes. That’s why our fans also stay united. Balakrishna always attends our family functions and even dances with us. The honor of acting as a hero for 50 years is Balakrishna’s own. I pray to God that he continues to bless Balakrishna with the strength to entertain us for 100 years in good health," said the Megastar.

HBD Chiranjeevi: Special on Chiru’s Birthday.. Do you know about the events that made him a Megastar?
Megastar Chiranjeevi's birthday is celebrated like a festival by his fans. Even celebrities extend their wishes on this occasion. However, Konidela Siva Sankara Vara Prasad, who became Megastar Chiranjeevi, did not reach the heights of fame effortlessly. He faced numerous obstacles and challenges throughout his journey, eventually earning a special place in the hearts of the audience as the Megastar. Today (August 22), on his birthday, let's look at the events and factors that elevated him to such a high status. The Incident That Fueled Chiru’s Determination Before entering the industry, Chiranjeevi lived in Madras with Hari Prasad and Sudhakar. They used to watch previews of movies distributed by Poornachandra Pictures and would give their ratings. On one such occasion, they sat in the front row to watch a movie. However, the hero of the movie, along with the driver and makeup man, came in and forcibly took their seats. Chiranjeevi and his team had no choice but to stand and watch the movie. When the wife of the company’s head asked, “How was the movie?” Chiru responded in anger, “Aunty, we came as your guests, but that hero made us stand by the door. We endured it because we didn’t want to cause trouble for you. If I don’t become the number one hero in this industry, you can ask me why!” True to his word, he reached that level. From Small Roles to Hero Status Chiranjeevi entered Tollywood in 1978. After many attempts, he got his first opportunity in the movie 'Punadi Rallu.' Interestingly, the film 'Pranam Khareedu,' in which he acted later, was released first. This film introduced him to the audience. While he was trying to establish himself as a hero, some people demanded that he play small roles in other heroes’ films. In one instance, Chiru mentioned that he acted in those roles, hoping the time would come when he could prove himself. He conveyed that despite the obstacles, one could reach their goal by staying positive. The Reason Behind Chiru’s Mesmerizing Dance In the early days of his career, Chiranjeevi’s dance was not exceptional. After completing a song shoot, he asked his manager how his performance was. The manager replied, “What’s there in it? You just did what the dancers behind you did. You need to show your uniqueness.” From then on, Chiru started going beyond what the choreographers instructed, captivating audiences with his extra effort. Chiranjeevi also once mentioned that film critic Gudipoodi Srihari played a role in helping him improve his acting. From Reviewer to Padma Vibhushan Megastar Chiranjeevi stays as far away from negativity as possible, which is why he always appears energetic. He strongly believes that listening to failure stories can lead to discouragement. He credits his immense self-confidence as the key to his success. Notably, he had already received the Padma Bhushan before this. Supporting Young Heroes Megastar Chiranjeevi is always at the forefront of encouraging newcomers. No matter how busy he is, he attends events for young heroes if invited. Speaking on this once, he said, “I don’t feel proud of this. When I entered the industry, I wished someone would encourage me. Now, when small heroes come to me and invite me, I see myself in them. I pat them on the back and encourage them as much as I can.” As the Darling Child of Art Chiranjeevi frequently responds to the issues in the industry and the struggles of film workers, offering help to the best of his ability. When some people called him the "Big Support" of the Telugu film industry, Chiru humbly denied it, saying, “I am just the darling child of art, not something big.” Leading in Charitable Activities Among Telugu heroes actively participating in charitable activities, Megastar Chiranjeevi stands out. Through the Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust, he has brought light into many lives and continues to extend a helping hand to those in need. In his four-decade-long acting career, he has garnered millions of fans and won several awards, including three Nandi Awards for Best Actor. Currently, he is busy with his 156th film, ‘Vishwambhara,’ directed by Vashishta, set to release on January 10 next year.

Nandamuri Family's Support for Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Vishwak Sen: A Strategic Move in Tollywood?
Nandamuri Family's Support for Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Vishwak Sen: A Strategic Move in Tollywood?
Among the young Telugu heroes who have gained a good following among the youth, Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Vishwak Sen are at the forefront. Both these young heroes are currently riding high with a series of successes. Interestingly, they are receiving significant support from the Nandamuri family. Balakrishna and Junior NTR have been actively encouraging these young heroes, drawing attention by participating in their film promotions. While it is common for senior actors to support young talents in the industry, there seems to be a strong reason behind why Tarak and Balayya are backing Siddhu and Vishwak specifically. Let’s delve into the reasons behind this in this article. Getting Close to the Young Heroes Megastar Chiranjeevi has always been at the forefront in encouraging young actors. Now, Nandamuri Balakrishna and Junior NTR have joined this list. They are supporting young actors like Vishwak Sen and Siddhu Jonnalagadda. Recently, as part of a promotional event, Tarak conducted a special interview with these two heroes, along with director Koratala Siva. The interview garnered a lot of hype. Earlier, Tarak attended the success meet of a film starring Siddhu as the chief guest, where Vishwak was also present. Tarak created a buzz by taking photos with both of them. Recently, Balakrishna also met these two heroes, and they donated the amount they had announced for Vijayawada flood relief together with Balayya. Earlier, during the pre-release event of another film, Balakrishna praised Vishwak, calling them twins. Whenever there’s an opportunity, Tarak and Balayya are always seen supporting Siddhu and Vishwak. Is There a Master Plan? With many young heroes in the industry like Vijay Deverakonda, Adivi Sesh, Naveen Polishetty, Nikhil, and Kiran Abbavaram, there are speculations on why Balakrishna and Tarak are encouraging only Vishwak and Siddhu. There’s talk in the film circles that the industry is currently divided into two camps – Mega and Non-Mega. The Mega family has over half a dozen heroes, many of whom openly declare their admiration for Megastar. With this in mind, it seems the Nandamuri family is trying to create a group of their own by encouraging the upcoming stars like Vishwak and Siddhu, who have publicly expressed their admiration for the Nandamuri family several times, especially their fondness for Tarak. Tarak and Balakrishna appear to be keen on supporting them to form a group of their own. Competing with Allu Arjun! Allu Arjun has been supporting Vijay Deverakonda and his brothers right from the beginning. Their bond started with the film "Arjun Reddy" and has continued since then. Last year, Bunny attended the promotion event of a movie produced by Vijay’s brother. During a controversy involving the film "Baby," where Vishwak was caught in the middle, Allu Arjun’s indirect comments reportedly put a lot of pressure on Vishwak. However, with Tarak’s support, Vishwak managed to get through the issue. While Tarak and Bunny share a good friendship, it seems they are forming their own groups by supporting different young heroes individually, according to film analysts. Vishwak and Siddhu’s Upcoming Projects Vishwak is currently busy with two films. He is working on "Mechanic Rocky" directed by Raviteja Mullapudi, where Meenakshi Chaudhary plays the female lead. The film is shaping up to be a comedy-action entertainer, with its second song recently released. Vishwak is also acting in the film "Laila," directed by Ramnarayan, where he will be seen playing a female role. Apart from these, he is set to start projects "VS13" and "VS14" soon. On the other hand, Siddhu Jonnalagadda has three exciting projects lined up. He is working on "Jack" and "Telusu Kada." After these, "Tillu Cube" will also go on the sets.

Ram Charan’s Mega Leap: Two Films a Year to Satisfy Fans
Ram Charan’s Mega Leap: Two Films a Year to Satisfy Fans
Mega Power Star Ram Charan has risen to global stardom following the success of 'RRR', garnering a worldwide fan following. However, an ongoing issue from the beginning of his career has been haunting him, which he hasn't been able to resolve despite multiple attempts. This has left even the mega fans dissatisfied. Now, Ram Charan is devising new plans to tackle this problem and is known to have made a crucial decision in this direction, which has immensely pleased the mega fans. What is this issue? And what decision has Cherry taken regarding it? Let's find out in this story. Two Films on the Sets! It has been 17 years since Mega Power Star Ram Charan, son of Chiranjeevi, stepped into the industry, but he has only done 13 films so far. There has been criticism that Charan takes longer gaps between films compared to other stars, and his attempts to change this pattern have not worked out. Hence, he has decided to put a definitive check on this issue. He plans to make two films per year going forward. As part of this, even before the release of 'Game Changer', Charan has announced the RC16 project with director Buchi Babu. The movie is currently busy in pre-production. Along with this film, he is also planning to do another movie directed by Sukumar. Ram Charan aims to launch both projects simultaneously and aims to release them before 2026, much to the delight of the mega fans. Is He Following Prabhas? Like Prabhas, who has recently been more dynamic with his projects than before, opting to launch multiple projects simultaneously rather than one at a time, Ram Charan seems to be following in his footsteps. Prabhas is currently working with director Maruthi on a film titled 'Raja Saab' and has also recently launched a new project with Hanu Raghavapudi. By November, he plans to bring 'Spirit' directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga to the sets. Through this approach, he intends to participate in the shootings of these three films simultaneously and release each within a year. Additionally, there's a chance for 'Salaar 2' and 'Kalki 2' to hit the floors next year. Ram Charan as the Chief Guest Global star Ram Charan is set to attend the South Indian cinema festival 'IIFA Utsavam 2024'. The event will take place at the Etihad Arena on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi on September 27. The organizers of the International Indian Film Academy Awards have revealed that Ram Charan will be participating in this awards ceremony. Alongside Charan, several other prominent figures from South Indian cinema are expected to attend. Looks Unlikely This Year! Ram Charan is currently acting in the film 'Game Changer', directed by Shankar, which was heavily promoted to release as a Christmas gift on December 20th. Producer Dil Raju has also confirmed plans for a December release. However, the latest buzz suggests that releasing 'Game Changer' in December might be difficult due to already scheduled releases of 'Thandel' and 'Robin Hood' for December 20. Releasing during this time could potentially affect collections, and makers are considering pushing the release to early next year. A confirmation from the makers is awaited on this matter.

Mathu Vadalara 2 Movie Review: Comedy, Chaos, and Satya’s Hilarious Performance
Mathu Vadalara 2 Movie Review: Comedy, Chaos, and Satya’s Hilarious Performance
Cast: Sri Simha, Satya, Faria Abdullah, Sunil, Vennela Kishore, Rohini, and others. Writer and Director: Ritesh Rana Music: Kaala Bhairava Cinematographer: Suresh Sarangam Editor: Karthika Srinivas Producer: Chiranjeevi (Cherry) Release Date: September 13, 2024 Sri Simha stars in 'Mathu Vadalara 2,' directed by Ritesh Rana. The film features key performances by Faria Abdullah, Satya, Vennela Kishore, Rohini, and Sunil. The movie captured everyone's attention when actor Prabhas launched the trailer, which was full of laughs, heightening expectations. How did the film turn out? Did it impress the Telugu audience? Let's dive into this review to find out. Plot Babu (Sri Simha) and Yesu Babu (Satya) work as delivery boys struggling with financial issues. Their inadequate earnings lead them to become special agents. A small mistake in a case they handle gets them into trouble. What is this case about? What was their mistake? How did they get out of it? How does undercover agent Nidhi (Faria Abdullah) help them? To find out, you must watch the movie. Performances As the lead, Sri Simha delivers a solid performance, captivating in comedy and action sequences. However, Satya, present in every scene, steals the show, making him the true hero of the film. With his punchlines and comic timing, Satya excels, especially with his expressions that guarantee a laugh riot. His antics as the "Sexy Siren" in the film are particularly effective. Faria Abdullah also lands a substantial role that is memorable post her character in 'Chitti'. Vennela Kishore adds his unique flavor of comedy, while Sunil and Rohini do justice to their significant roles. Other actors also performed adequately. Direction Director Ritesh Rana crafts stories revolving around drugs, guns, and money. This time is no different, blending kidnapping drama with humor to entertain the audience. He successfully uses star references including Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Balakrishna, and Mahesh Babu to great effect. The characters of Sri Simha and Satya are particularly entertaining and well-developed. Every character appears fresh and funny on screen. The director keeps the first half a fun ride, though he struggles a bit in the second half where some scenes drag. The climax also feels predictable, a minor drawback. Technically On the technical front, Kaala Bhairava's background score is a major plus, elevating many scenes effectively. The cinematography is commendable, but the editing could have been tighter. The production values are high. Plus Points - Sri Simha and Satya’s performances - Comedy - Background music Minus Points - Some dragging scenes - Predictable climax Telugu.yousay.tv Rating: 3/5

Netizens Lash Out as Tirumala Laddu Controversy Sparks Clash Between Pawan Kalyan and Prakash Raj
Netizens Lash Out as Tirumala Laddu Controversy Sparks Clash Between Pawan Kalyan and Prakash Raj
The issue of the Tirumala Laddu in Andhra Pradesh has become a topic of national discussion. The Chief Minister Chandrababu has even set up a special committee to look into it. Meanwhile, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan undertook an eleven-day penance. Recently, while on a visit to Vijayawada's Indrakeeladri, he also cleaned the steps there as part of his penance. During this period, Pawan lashed out at Prakash Raj. "Shouldn’t we speak up if there is injustice against Hinduism?" he argued, triggering a series of questions from Prakash Raj who has been targeting him without directly naming him. Prakash Raj stirs the fire! Actor Prakash Raj first shared his opinions on Twitter about the adulteration of Tirumala’s Laddu prasadam. In response to Pawan, who spoke about Sanatana Dharma during his penance in Vijayawada, Prakash warned that he wouldn't remain silent if one spoke as they pleased about the religion. Since then, he has targeted Pawan with a series of indirect criticisms under his posts titled ‘Just Asking’. His recent tweet questioned, "What do we want.. to stir up emotions among the people for political gain, or to delicately resolve issues with necessary, even severe, measures without hurting public sentiments? Just asking." https://twitter.com/HariiTweetz/status/1839538486115729667 Pawan - Karthi Issue Also Draws Comments During the 'Satyam Sundaram' pre-release event on Monday, actor Karthi's response to a question about the Tirumala Laddu controversy led to a dispute. When the anchor brought up laddus, Karthi jokingly said, "We shouldn't talk about laddus now. It's a sensitive topic... we don't need it." This provoked a harsh response from Pawan at the venue of Durga temple. He warned the film industry to speak respectfully or stay silent. Karthi immediately apologized to Pawan, but Prakash Raj poked at Pawan saying, "What joy there is in making someone apologize for no fault! Just asking..." He then tweeted another post: "One avatar before winning... another after winning. What’s this discrepancy? Why this confusion? Which is true?" implying criticism of changing stances. https://twitter.com/HariiTweetz/status/1839538486115729667 https://twitter.com/HariiTweetz/status/1839538486115729667 Why so much venom? Netizens are intensely criticizing Prakash Raj for targeting Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and actor Pawan Kalyan. They question why he is meddling in matters that don’t concern him. "If Pawan speaks about his adherence to Sanatana Dharma, how does that incite anyone?" they argue. They also question why Prakash did not speak out when Tamil Nadu CM Udhayanidhi Stalin criticized Hindus. They question the venom against Pawan when he fights for his beliefs. They assert that the Tirumala Laddu issue, related to Hindu faith, is none of Prakash Raj’s concern, especially as someone seen as opposing Hindu interests. They are also outraged over Prakash Raj’s tweet comparing the Tirumala Laddu to a bomb. https://twitter.com/HariiTweetz/status/1839538486115729667 https://twitter.com/HariiTweetz/status/1839538486115729667 https://twitter.com/HariiTweetz/status/1839538486115729667 https://twitter.com/HariiTweetz/status/1839538486115729667 https://twitter.com/HariiTweetz/status/1839538486115729667 https://twitter.com/HariiTweetz/status/1839538486115729667 This is Betrayal! Actor Prakash Raj has always had a good relationship with the Mega family. Megastar Chiranjeevi has often spoken of him as a brother. This year, the Mega family even supported his candidacy in the Movie Artists Association elections against Manchu Vishnu, with Chiranjeevi providing substantial encouragement and Nagababu actively campaigning for him. Despite this, netizens comment that Prakash Raj has betrayed the Mega family by targeting Pawan. https://twitter.com/HariiTweetz/status/1839538486115729667 Will he become another Posani? Observing Prakash Raj’s series of tweets, netizens speculate that he might end up like Posani Krishna Murali, who after playing a significant role during the previous YSRCP government, repeatedly targeted the Mega family, especially Pawan Kalyan, with harsh criticisms. There’s talk that Posani lost film opportunities because of his conflicts with a powerful family in the industry. Analysts opine that if Prakash Raj continues in this manner, he might face similar circumstances. The ongoing Pawan vs Prakash Raj issue could lead to significant developments. https://twitter.com/HariiTweetz/status/1839538486115729667

ANR 100th Birth Anniversary: Celebrating Akkineni Nageswara Rao, the Pioneer of Dance in Tollywood
ANR 100th Birth Anniversary: Celebrating Akkineni Nageswara Rao, the Pioneer of Dance in Tollywood
Akkineni Nageswara Rao (ANR), one of the foundational pillars of Tollywood, needs no special introduction. Recognized as a Dadasaheb Phalke Award recipient, Padma Vibhushan, and Natasamrat, he left an indelible mark on the industry. Born on September 20, 1924, as his centenary completes today, fans globally are celebrating his 100th birth anniversary. Although widely known as a legendary actor, not everyone is aware that he was also an excellent dancer. In fact, he was the one who introduced dance to Tollywood, a fact that might be unknown to this generation. Let’s delve into this special report to learn more about it. [toc] The Pioneer of Dance in Tollywood Looking back to the early days of Tollywood, dance was not a primary focus when the industry first began. Leading actors were not keen on dancing; their focus was entirely on how to act and express emotions to captivate the audience. This was particularly noticeable between the 1960s and 1970s. When heroines danced, heroes would often just stand by, a point of criticism at the time. However, Akkineni Nageswara Rao completely changed these dynamics. While many associate Tollywood dance primarily with Megastar Chiranjeevi, it was Nageswara Rao who laid the groundwork for dance in the industry, making it an essential skill for heroes, matching and even excelling alongside heroines in dance. At one point, seeing Nageswara Rao’s dance, contemporaries like Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, Superstar Krishna, Shobhan Babu, and Krishnam Raju also began to emphasize dance in their films. Audiences Mesmerized by Akkineni's Steps! In the 1971 film 'Dasara Bullodu', ANR’s performance in the song ‘Ettage Unnadi Olammi’ was mesmerizing. Similarly, in 'Bangaru Babu', his dance to 'Chengavi Rangu Cheera' electrified audiences who, until then, primarily enjoyed songs for their auditory appeal. Specifically, his dance in 'Prem Nagar' for the song ‘Nenu Puttanu Lokam Navvindi’ became a trendsetter. Additionally, his competitive dance with Sridevi in 'Premabhishekam' for the song 'Ne Kallu Chebuthunnayi' delighted everyone. He also matched steps with Megastar Chiranjeevi in the film 'Mechanic Alludu'. There’s a long list of such performances, some of which are linked below for a glimpse into his prowess. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OG_H1fNnWJA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uWhPlHc0yoU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nTt-kp2Lndc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zA_uVs7H7G0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_p90nJNsB8 Inspired by Nageswara Rao... Even Megastar Chiranjeevi, known for his dance, was inspired by Nageswara Rao at one point. It’s said that Chiru enhanced the importance of dance in films after watching Nageswara Rao’s movies. In an event, Chiranjeevi made interesting remarks about ANR's influence, noting that after watching Chiru’s dance, one might wonder if his body actually had any bones at all. Over the decades, as Chiranjeevi became a peerless hero in acting and dancing, he carried forward the legacy initiated by Nageswara Rao, which now continues with stars like Allu Arjun, Ram Charan, NTR, and Ram Pothineni. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFTIlMls-98 Interesting Post by Balakrishna On the occasion of ANR's 100th birth anniversary, actor Balakrishna posted a touching tribute, expressing pride in remembering Nageswara Rao. He noted that ANR's iconic roles and invaluable contributions to Telugu cinema are unforgettable and serve as a guiding light to all actors. Balakrishna urged everyone to express their gratitude for the immense services ANR provided to the film industry, from theater to cinema. His journey is an inspiration to all.
