Making his debut with the movie 'Chirutha', he garnered an industry hit with his second film 'Magadheera'. Several Tollywood star heroes already have their wax statues at Madame Tussauds. Compared to them, Charan's statue this time is quite special because it will be placed in the Madame Tussauds museum in London. It is notable that he will be the first Telugu actor to step into Madame Tussauds' home in London. This unique honor that Ram Charan is about to receive is a testament to his love for animals, as evidenced by the simultaneous placement of his pet dog Rhyme’s statue. Before Charan... The first Telugu hero to make it to Madame Tussauds was the pan-India rebel star Prabhas, whose statue is placed in the Bangkok museum. Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu’s statue is in the Singapore Madame Tussauds, where they also have a statue of Sridevi, styled after her appearance in the Bollywood hit 'Mr. India'. Actress Kajal Aggarwal’s wax figure is also there. Recently, the icon star Allu Arjun’s statue, styled as his character Pushparaj, was set up in the Dubai Madame Tussauds. Rajamouli’s Big ‘What If’: Suriya Was Almost Cast in Magadheera – How It Could’ve Changed Telugu Cinema
Rajamouli’s Big ‘What If’: Suriya Was Almost Cast in Magadheera – How It Could’ve Changed Telugu Cinema
Tamil star Suriya’s upcoming film Kanguva is all set for a grand pan-India release on November 14. With the release date approaching, Suriya and the Kanguva team are actively promoting the film through various events, including a recent pre-release event. At this event, special guest Rajamouli mentioned that he once considered making a film with Suriya, sparking widespread curiosity. Fans are now speculating which film this might have been. Let’s take a closer look. Which Film Was It? The mega-blockbuster Magadheera (Ram Charan) catapulted Charan’s career to new heights under Rajamouli’s direction. According to the latest buzz, Rajamouli initially wanted to cast Suriya in Magadheera. While there were strong rumors about Rajamouli wanting Suriya for Baahubali, these rumors were debunked by Rajamouli’s father and writer Vijayendra Prasad, who clarified that Baahubali was designed specifically for Prabhas. However, it’s believed that Rajamouli initially considered Suriya for Magadheera. At the Kanguva pre-release event, Rajamouli praised Suriya’s Ghajini, which was released in 2005—four years before Magadheera in 2009. Considering that Magadheera took three years to complete, it’s likely Rajamouli had the script ready by 2006. Based on these timelines, fans speculate that Magadheera was the film Rajamouli envisioned for Suriya. What If That Had Happened? If Suriya had done Magadheera instead of Ram Charan, Charan’s career might have looked very different. After his debut with Chirutha, which received moderate success, Charan struggled to establish a strong foothold until Magadheera cemented his position in the industry. Even though he acted in several films after Magadheera, he didn’t experience another significant breakthrough until Rangasthalam in 2018. Industry analysts and fans believe that without Magadheera, Charan’s career might not have reached the heights it did. ‘Missed Chance to Work with Suriya’ At the Kanguva pre-release event, Rajamouli expressed admiration for Kollywood actor Suriya, crediting him as an inspiration for his pan-India films. He acknowledged Suriya’s impact on promoting Telugu cinema globally, citing Suriya’s promotion for Ghajini as a case study on how actors from different industries can connect with Telugu audiences. Rajamouli explained that Suriya’s efforts inspired him while creating Baahubali but noted that, despite wanting to work with Suriya, the opportunity never materialized. https://twitter.com/AadhanTelugu/status/1854710204740309097 ‘Told the Story… It Didn’t Work Out’ In a recent interview, Tamil star Karthi shared an interesting story about Rajamouli’s attempt to collaborate with him and Suriya. During the promotions for Satyam Sundaram, Karthi, in a conversation with director Gautham Menon, revealed that Rajamouli had once narrated a story to him and Suriya. “Rajamouli Sir told us a story that was good, but the movie didn’t materialize,” Karthi explained. Fans were stunned, wondering why they would pass on a Rajamouli film. If this project had taken off, it might have further elevated the careers of both Suriya and Karthi. https://twitter.com/adarshtp_offl/status/1835533193111392319

SHOCKING: 'Devara' Director Koratala Siva Under Fire - Blockbuster Sea Sequence Allegedly Copied from Korean Film; Shankar Hints at Legal Action Over Story Rights!
SHOCKING: 'Devara' Director Koratala Siva Under Fire - Blockbuster Sea Sequence Allegedly Copied from Korean Film; Shankar Hints at Legal Action Over Story Rights!
Directed by Koratala Siva and starring Jr. NTR, 'Devara: Part 1' has created a storm at the box office, becoming the biggest hit of Tarak's career. The sea fight sequence in particular has thrilled audiences, and Koratala Siva's creativity has been widely praised. However, there's a growing controversy online suggesting that these were not entirely Siva's original ideas, but rather direct copies from a Korean film. Here's the video that's trending as evidence. What Actually Happened? The introduction and interval scenes in 'Devara' are so dynamic that they're bound to give anyone goosebumps. No one expected a Telugu director to execute such an elaborate action sequence at sea. The film features a scene where the hero, along with his gang, goes to a ship to steal weapons, dumping the gun-filled crates into the sea. Members of the hero's gang, already stationed in small boats, then retrieve these crates to smuggle them past the naval officers. Yet, netizens are surprised to find a strikingly similar scene in a Korean movie, accusing director Koratala Siva of plagiarism. Audiences are mocking the director for fooling them, urging everyone to check out the Korean movie scene. https://twitter.com/chiruthajsp/status/1849093752683716609 That Scene Too! It's known that Tarak plays a dual role in 'Devara.' Initially, as part of the villain's gang, 'Devara' participates in smuggling for some compelling reasons but later turns good. Meanwhile, he also instills fear among his peers against smuggling. The director showcases a sequence with chairs filled with knives along the coast. However, this scene has also been accused of being copied, with claims that it closely resembles a scene from the Hollywood film 'Vikings.' https://twitter.com/BackupBrainy/status/1833835236465029376 Is the Story of Devara Also Copied? There were extensive promotions before the release of 'Devara' claiming that its story was adapted from a copyrighted novel. Tamil director Shankar recently accused that he saw key scenes from his copyrighted novel being used in a film, stressing that creators should respect rights and avoid copying without permission, warning of legal actions. However, Shankar did not clarify which film he referred to. But, the buzz on social media suggests that the story of 'Devara' closely mirrors the Tamil novel 'Veera Yug Nayagan,' for which Shankar holds the rights. Similar Accusations in the Past This is not the first time Koratala Siva has faced plagiarism accusations. He was also heavily criticized during the release of 'Srimanthudu' with Mahesh Babu. Writer Sharath Chandra even took the matter to court, claiming his story was copied. The issue had created a sensation across the Telugu states back then. In 2012, Sharath had published his story 'Chachentha Prema' in Swati Monthly, and while he was planning to adapt it into a film, he accused Koratala Siva of making 'Srimanthudu' based on his story.

From Bike Thief to Baba: The Unforgettable Characters of Ali in Puri’s Films
From Bike Thief to Baba: The Unforgettable Characters of Ali in Puri’s Films
In Puri Jagannadh's films, alongside powerful dialogues and heroism, comedian Ali's characters are also memorable. Puri has created some special roles for Ali in his films, and the comedy tracks associated with these characters have worked well for the films. In this sequence, in 'Double iSmart', Puri has given Ali a special role as 'Boka', a quirky character. The dialogues related to Ali's character in the trailer have captured the audience's attention. Now, let's look at some of the unique roles Ali has played in Puri's past films. Bike Thief (Idiot) In the film 'Idiot', a collaboration between Ravi Teja and Puri Jagannadh, which was a sensation at its time, Ali appears as a character who steals bikes. He confuses the police officer Jeeva while transporting a sack of sand from Hyderabad to Bidar on a bike. He repeatedly tells the police that he is taking the sand to spread in Bidar, leaving them puzzled about why he is taking it so far. The audience and the police remain confused until it is finally revealed that Ali himself is committing the bike thefts. Sketch Artist (Super) In 'Super', directed by Puri Jagannadh starring Nagarjuna, Ali plays the role of John Abraham, a skilled artist who can quickly sketch anyone he sees. On one occasion, he sees the hero whom the police are searching for, leading the police to follow him. The lie detector scene involving Brahmanandam and Ali in this context is unforgettable. Beggar (Pokiri) In 'Pokiri', another successful collaboration between Mahesh Babu and Puri, Ali plays a beggar. His interactions with Brahmanandam, who hurts his ego, lead to hilarious scenes involving a group of beggars following him. The comedy scenes between Ali and Brahmanandam played a significant role in the film's success. Himalaya Baba (Desamuduru) In 'Desamuduru', starring Allu Arjun, Ali appears as a Baba performing penance in the Himalayas. He gradually reveals why he became a Baba, creating excitement among the audience. Every scene feels like a climax, eliciting laughter. The scenes related to this character still have a following among the audience. Goli (Devudu Chesina Manushulu) In this film, also a collaboration between Ravi Teja and Puri, Ali plays an unusual character named Goli, who excessively worships as the son of the goddess Lakshmi. Although Lakshmi Devi (Kovai Sarala) tries to help him by giving him opportunities, his foolishness turns them into comedic situations. Despite the film being a disaster at the box office, Ali's performance as Goli was highly entertaining. Nachimi (Chirutha) In 'Chirutha', the debut film of Mega Power Star Ram Charan, Ali plays a peculiar role as Nachimi. His character and attire brought copious laughter to the audience. This role stood out distinctly from his previous characters. Even today, if Ali appears on television as Nachimi, it guarantees laughter. Boka (Double iSmart) In the upcoming 'Double iSmart', featuring Ram Pothineni and directed by Puri, Ali will appear as Boka, a character resembling a forest man. His performance in the trailer has already won over the audience, and posts suggest that this role will definitely be a highlight. Ali recently revealed in an interview how this character came about: during the shooting of 'Billa' in Malaysia, he demonstrated to Prabhas what it would be like if a chimpanzee were their manager, which entertained everyone for about an hour and a half. After sharing this idea over the phone with Puri, it was decided to incorporate this track into one of the films. Thus, the character of Boka from the Amazon forest was developed, and Ali completed shooting for this role in just three days.
