Maa Nanna Superhero Review: A Touching Father-Son Story – Is This Sudheer Babu's Comeback?
Cast: Sudheer Babu, Sayaji Shinde, Harshith Reddy, Aamani, Raj Sundaram, Shashank, Sai Chand, Arna, Chandra Vempati, and othersDirector: Abhilash KankarMusic: Jai KrishnaCinematography: Sameer KalyaniEditing: Anil Kumar. PProducer: Sunil BalusuRelease Date: October 11, 2024
'Maa Nanna Super Hero' is a film starring Sudheer Babu in the lead role, directed by Abhilash Reddy Kankar. Arna plays the female lead, and Sayaji Shinde and Sai Chand appear in key roles. The movie, released on October 11 as a Dasara gift, had premiered a day before. So, how is this movie? Did the father-son sentiment strike a chord with the audience? Did it bring success to Sudheer Babu, who has been struggling with a series of flops? Let's find out in this review.
Plot
Prakash (Sai Chand) is a truck driver whose wife dies after giving birth to their child. Unable to take care of the newborn, Prakash leaves the child in an orphanage and goes away for work. Unexpectedly, he gets arrested and ends up spending 20 years in jail. On the other hand, a stockbroker named Srinivas (Sayaji Shinde) adopts the child, Johnny (Sudheer Babu). Since Johnny’s arrival, Srinivas's life has turned upside down, leading to financial troubles. He blames Johnny for his misfortune and harbors resentment towards him, while Johnny still loves Srinivas deeply and tries to pay off his debts while taking care of him. Meanwhile, Srinivas ends up owing a powerful politician one crore rupees. At the same time, Johnny meets his biological father, Prakash. What happens next? How does Johnny work to pay off Srinivas's debt? Does Srinivas finally understand Johnny’s love? To find out, you need to watch the movie.
Performance Analysis
In 'Maa Nanna Superhero,' Sudheer Babu presents a different side compared to his previous films. Known for showcasing his physique in action movies, this time, he impresses with his mature acting, bringing out the emotions perfectly and striving for recognition as a complete actor. Sayaji Shinde gives a good performance as the foster father, though his character lacks depth. Sai Chand, as the biological father, lives the role with his trademark acting. Most of the important scenes revolve around these three characters. Arna, as the heroine, doesn’t have much importance in the story but manages to make an impression with her glamour in some scenes. The rest of the cast has done a decent job within their scope.
Direction
For those who have watched Tamil and Malayalam films and wondered why such feel-good movies aren't made in Telugu, this film will bring joy. Director Abhilash Kankar chose an emotionally touching story. The plot revolves around the emotional journey of a father separated from his child at a young age and the complexities of a foster father-son relationship. However, the director took considerable time to establish Johnny's love for his father. Only after the emotional buildup does the real story begin. The first half focuses on Sudheer Babu and Sayaji Shinde's relationship, while Sai Chand's character comes into play in the second half, making it more emotional. The last 20 minutes are particularly heart-wrenching for the audience. The slow pace of the narration and lack of commercial elements are the negatives.
Technical Aspects
In terms of technical aspects, Jai Krishna's background score is a big plus for the film. The cinematography is also impressive. However, the editing could have been better. Trimming some lagging scenes would have improved the film.

Sivakarthikeyan's 'Amaran' Shatters Records: ₹300 Crore Club Entry and Unstoppable Box Office Run!
Kollywood star actor Sivakarthikeyan headlines the film Amaran, which explores various facets of the life of the late Major Mukund. Released grandly in Telugu, Tamil, and other languages on October 31, the movie has achieved super hit status. Even 19 days post-release, it continues to perform exceptionally well, astonishing everyone with record-breaking collections (Amaran Collections) in Telugu and maintaining full occupancy in theaters. As a result, Sivakarthikeyan has reached another milestone in his career.
Into the ₹300 Crore Club...
The film Amaran, directed by Rajkumar Periasamy with Sivakarthikeyan as the hero and Sai Pallavi as the heroine, was released on October 31, coinciding with Diwali. It met and exceeded all expectations, putting on a spectacular performance at the box office. In the first 19 days alone, the film grossed ₹300 crores (Amaran Collections). The makers released a poster declaring it a 'Mega Blockbuster.' It is noteworthy that no other film in Sivakarthikeyan’s career has reached the ₹300 crore mark before Amaran.
https://twitter.com/Dasarathan_1720/status/1858698464630063231
Profits All Around in Telugu...
Telugu audiences have also wholeheartedly embraced Amaran. The movie's Telugu rights were sold for ₹4 crores, with a break-even target of ₹8 crores. However, the film received an unexpectedly positive response in Telugu, garnering gross collections (Amaran Collections) of ₹41 crores to date. This has resulted in a 500% profit margin for the Telugu distributors. Additionally, in Tamil Nadu alone, Amaran has collected ₹143 crores. It also grossed ₹11.50 crores in Kerala, ₹22 crores in Karnataka, ₹4.5 crores in the rest of India, and ₹79 crores overseas, delighting the Amaran team with such a response.
The Unexpected Flop of Kangava...
While the film unit of Amaran expected a hit, they did not anticipate these levels of collections, especially since they thought the Pan-Indian film Kangava starring Suriya, which released on November 14, might affect their long-run collections. However, Kangava received unexpectedly poor reviews, making Amaran the primary choice for moviegoers who, along with their families, preferred watching a good film in theaters. This is why the movie’s momentum at the box office (Amaran Collections) hasn’t slowed down even after three weeks. With no major star films releasing this week, trade circles anticipate that the collections will continue to rise.
Heading to OTT by Month-End...
The film Amaran, which has created a tsunami of collections in theaters, is set to debut on OTT by the end of this month. Reports suggest that it will start streaming on Netflix from November 29. If there’s a need to postpone the release date considering the collections (Amaran Collections), it’s assured to hit OTT by December 5 at the latest. With this, everyone who hasn’t seen Amaran in theaters is eagerly waiting for its OTT release.

From Child Artist to National Award Winner: Keerthy Suresh's Inspiring Journey in Cinema
Keerthy Suresh is one of those actresses who prioritizes acting over beauty. Belonging to the Tamil industry, she has also gained significant popularity in Telugu films. Her role as Savitri in the movie 'Mahanati' was phenomenal, earning her a National Award. However, her film career has seen many interesting twists and turns. Today (October 17), on the occasion of Keerthy Suresh's birthday, let's look into some special aspects of her life.
As a Child Artist
The daughter of actors Suresh Kumar and Menaka, Keerthy Suresh sparkled as a child artist in the Malayalam film 'Pilots'. She also appeared as a child artist in the films 'Achaneyanenikkishtam' and 'Kuberan'.
Mother as Chiru’s Heroine.. Daughter as Sister
In Chiranjeevi's film 'Punnami Naagu', Keerthy's mother Menaka acted as the heroine. Recently, in the movie 'Bhola Shankar', Keerthy played the significant role of Chiranjeevi's sister. Despite the film not doing well, their performances as siblings were well-received. During the shoot in Hyderabad, Chiranjeevi mentioned during movie promotions that he ensured home-cooked meals were sent to Keerthy throughout the filming.
Stalled Projects at the Beginning
Keerthy Suresh began her career as a heroine with the film 'Geethanjali', starring Malayalam superstar Mohanlal. However, even before this, she had signed three projects as a heroine, which had also started shooting. Unexpectedly, these three projects were halted midway, leading to great disappointment for her, as she mentioned in an interview.
Tagged as Iron Leg
Early in her career, the halting of three projects, and the failure of films like 'Geethanjali' and 'Ring Master' in Malayalam, and her first Tamil film 'Idhu Enna Maayam' being a disaster, Keerthy was tagged as an 'Iron Leg'. She faced significant trolling but ignored it and went on to succeed in films, establishing herself as a successful heroine.
Turning Point with Mahanati
Her first Telugu film 'Nenu Sailaja' was a success, which increased her opportunities in Tollywood and Kollywood. Despite being in commercial films, she felt unfulfilled as an actress until 'Mahanati' came along. Her portrayal of Savitri was critically acclaimed, earning her the National Award for Best Actress and becoming an inspiration to other actresses. Her career graph significantly rose after 'Mahanati'.
Series of Failures
Post-'Mahanati', it was believed that Keerthy's career would have no downturns, and she did receive a series of offers. However, subsequent films like 'Saamy Square', 'Pandem kodi 2', 'Rang De', and 'Annaatthe' failed to meet audience expectations. Her women-oriented films 'Penguin', 'Miss India', and 'Good Luck Sakhi' also failed to make an impact.
Director's Intent to Cast Keerthy
Following last year's release 'Dasara', which was a massive success, Keerthy made a strong comeback. Directed by Srikanth Odela with Nani as the hero, the film grossed over 100 crores and received widespread praise for Keerthy's performance. She excelled in the role of Vennela, a rural woman, and received awards like SIIMA and Filmfare for Best Actress. However, it was revealed during movie promotions that director Srikanth Odela initially planned to cast Keerthy as the heroine for 'Dasara' after narrating the movie story and suggested she gain 10-12 kilograms, which she couldn't. Nani mentioned that Odela decided to cast her despite her not being able to gain weight, highlighting that even though he was a debut director and she was a National Award-winning actress, they ended up becoming good friends on the movie sets.

Keerthy’s Special Talent
Not just her face, Keerthy Suresh's voice is also beautiful. Directors have capitalized on her melodious voice, having her sing beautifully the song 'Pudhu Metro Rail' in 'Saamy Square'. She also recently lent her voice to the character of Bujji Vehicle in 'Kalki 2898 AD' and proved her dancing skills with the 'Gandhaari' album.
This Year into Bollywood
Having already entertained this year with 'Siren' and 'Raghu Thatha', Keerthy is busy with upcoming projects like 'Revolver Reeta', 'Kannivedi', and 'Uppu Kappurambu'. She is set to enter Bollywood with 'Baby John'. In an instance, she mentioned that the roles of Savitri (Mahanati), Vennela (Dasara), and Kalavathi (Sarkaru Vaari Paata) were challenging in her career.

Rajinikanth vs KS Ravi Kumar: Sensational Allegations by Tamil Director. What Did He Say?
Tamil superstar Rajinikanth is well-known for his widespread fan following across India. He is loved by fans beyond the film industry itself, with a strong fan base in Tollywood. Notably, prominent director K.S. Ravi Kumar has made sensational allegations against Rajinikanth. He expressed his dissatisfaction, blaming Rajinikanth for the flop of his movie. These comments have become a hot topic in Kollywood and nationwide. Let's look into the details.
'Rajinikanth created chaos'
The allegations made by Kollywood star director K.S. Ravi Kumar against superstar Rajinikanth are currently causing a significant stir. Their previous collaboration on the movie 'Lingaa' did not meet expectations. Recently, in an interview given to a YouTube channel, the director spoke about the failure of the movie. "Superstar Rajinikanth interfered with the editing of Lingaa. He didn’t give me any time to work on the computer graphics. He completely changed the second half of the movie. A song with Anushka and a twist in the climax were removed. He even added an artificial balloon jumping scene himself. Overall, Rajinikanth messed up the entire movie," Ravi Kumar made these critical comments. These remarks have gone viral on social media.
Working on Three Films!
Director K.S. Ravi Kumar is well-regarded in Kollywood and has had a good relationship with Rajinikanth. They had worked together before 'Lingaa' on blockbusters like 'Muthu' and 'Narasimha'. Then came 'Lingaa' in 2014. Featuring dual roles by Rajinikanth and starring Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka as the heroines, this message-oriented movie came with high expectations but did not perform as expected. However, it did fairly well in terms of collections. Made on a budget of Rs. 100 crores, the film collected around Rs. 120-130 crores at the box office.
After 33 Years, With Mani Ratnam...!
Exciting news has emerged about Rajinikanth’s future project. There is strong buzz that he will be working with star director Mani Ratnam. It’s been 33 years since their last collaboration, and rumors are circulating that they will be working together again. Their last joint venture was the highly successful 'Thalapathi' in 1991. Since then, they haven’t made a movie together. Discussions between Rajinikanth and Mani Ratnam have reportedly taken place for a new project. If all goes as planned, an official announcement may come by December, around Rajinikanth's birthday, according to Kollywood circles.
Rajinikanth Recovers from Illness!
Superstar Rajinikanth recently recovered from an illness. He was admitted to a prominent hospital in Chennai on September 30th after doctors discovered swelling in the main artery coming from his heart. He underwent a transcatheter procedure and had a stent placed. With his health stabilized, he was discharged on the night of October 3rd. Doctors have advised him to rest for a few weeks. Currently, he is resting at home with his family, and his fans are eagerly hoping he will return to shooting soon.
Rajinikanth's Film in the Dasara Competition
Rajinikanth's latest film 'Vettaiyan' is set to release this week on a pan-India scale. Directed by T.J. Gnanavel, known for the social message movie 'Jai Bhim', this film is produced by Lyca Productions. It stars Amitabh, Fahadh Faasil, Rana, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, and Dushara Vijayan in key roles. Anirudh provided the music. Scheduled for a Dasara release on October 10th, the movie is highly anticipated following the blockbuster 'Jailer', which also featured Rajinikanth.
Star Cast in 'Coolie'!
Rajinikanth currently has another big project on his hands with 'Coolie'. As his 171st film, 'Coolie' is shaping up under the direction of Lokesh Kanagaraj, following a series of hits like 'Master', 'Vikram', and 'Leo'. Naturally, expectations are high for 'Coolie'. The movie, set against a backdrop of gold smuggling, is being crafted by Lokesh Kanagaraj. In 'Coolie Number 1421', Rajinikanth will appear in a prominent role. Tollywood veteran actor Nagarjuna is playing a special character named Simon, who is crucial to the plot. Additionally, Kannada star hero Upendra is also part of the cast. Other popular actors like Soubin Shahir, Shruti Haasan, and Sathyaraj are also participating in this significant project.

Nani Surpasses Janhvi
'Ulajh' starring Janhvi Kapoor, released on Netflix the day after 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram' came out, is also competing for the top spot. This spy thriller was introduced to audiences in August and made its OTT debut on September 27. Currently, it is capturing good viewership, making it in second place nationwide on Netflix. Directed by Sudhanshu Saria, Janhvi appears as IFS officer Suhana Bhatia, with Roshan Mathew in a leading role.
Collections Over 100 Crores
'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram' was released in approximately 1000 screens on August 29, with a break-even target of 42 crores. Suryah's acting, the action sequences, and Jakes Bejoy's background music were major highlights. Particularly, the Tom and Jerry-like scenes between the hero and the villain delighted the audience. ANR 100th Birth Anniversary: Celebrating Akkineni Nageswara Rao, the Pioneer of Dance in Tollywood
Akkineni Nageswara Rao (ANR), one of the foundational pillars of Tollywood, needs no special introduction. Recognized as a Dadasaheb Phalke Award recipient, Padma Vibhushan, and Natasamrat, he left an indelible mark on the industry. Born on September 20, 1924, as his centenary completes today, fans globally are celebrating his 100th birth anniversary. Although widely known as a legendary actor, not everyone is aware that he was also an excellent dancer. In fact, he was the one who introduced dance to Tollywood, a fact that might be unknown to this generation. Let’s delve into this special report to learn more about it.
[toc]
The Pioneer of Dance in Tollywood
Looking back to the early days of Tollywood, dance was not a primary focus when the industry first began. Leading actors were not keen on dancing; their focus was entirely on how to act and express emotions to captivate the audience. This was particularly noticeable between the 1960s and 1970s. When heroines danced, heroes would often just stand by, a point of criticism at the time. However, Akkineni Nageswara Rao completely changed these dynamics. While many associate Tollywood dance primarily with Megastar Chiranjeevi, it was Nageswara Rao who laid the groundwork for dance in the industry, making it an essential skill for heroes, matching and even excelling alongside heroines in dance. At one point, seeing Nageswara Rao’s dance, contemporaries like Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, Superstar Krishna, Shobhan Babu, and Krishnam Raju also began to emphasize dance in their films.
Audiences Mesmerized by Akkineni's Steps!
In the 1971 film 'Dasara Bullodu', ANR’s performance in the song ‘Ettage Unnadi Olammi’ was mesmerizing. Similarly, in 'Bangaru Babu', his dance to 'Chengavi Rangu Cheera' electrified audiences who, until then, primarily enjoyed songs for their auditory appeal. Specifically, his dance in 'Prem Nagar' for the song ‘Nenu Puttanu Lokam Navvindi’ became a trendsetter. Additionally, his competitive dance with Sridevi in 'Premabhishekam' for the song 'Ne Kallu Chebuthunnayi' delighted everyone. He also matched steps with Megastar Chiranjeevi in the film 'Mechanic Alludu'. There’s a long list of such performances, some of which are linked below for a glimpse into his prowess.

Inspired by Nageswara Rao...
Even Megastar Chiranjeevi, known for his dance, was inspired by Nageswara Rao at one point. It’s said that Chiru enhanced the importance of dance in films after watching Nageswara Rao’s movies. In an event, Chiranjeevi made interesting remarks about ANR's influence, noting that after watching Chiru’s dance, one might wonder if his body actually had any bones at all. Over the decades, as Chiranjeevi became a peerless hero in acting and dancing, he carried forward the legacy initiated by Nageswara Rao, which now continues with stars like Allu Arjun, Ram Charan, NTR, and Ram Pothineni.

Interesting Post by Balakrishna
On the occasion of ANR's 100th birth anniversary, actor Balakrishna posted a touching tribute, expressing pride in remembering Nageswara Rao. He noted that ANR's iconic roles and invaluable contributions to Telugu cinema are unforgettable and serve as a guiding light to all actors. Balakrishna urged everyone to express their gratitude for the immense services ANR provided to the film industry, from theater to cinema. His journey is an inspiration to all.

Tollywood circles are also abuzz with the prospects of this pairing. The script for this movie is reportedly ready, and Nani is expected to hear the final narration soon. The film is said to be a fresh love entertainer, and Sekhar Kammula is considering casting Sai Pallavi as the heroine, which is expected to be a great addition. If all goes as planned, an official announcement regarding this movie may be expected soon.
A Departure from Usual Style
Sekhar Kammula typically does not think about other projects while working on one, focusing entirely on the current film. However, he seems to have departed from this approach as he is already preparing stories for future projects while wrapping up current ones. This strategy might reduce the gap between his film releases. It is also noted that while working on these projects, Sekhar Kammula is already preparing the story for Nani's film. Currently, he is busy shooting 'Kubera', a pan-India film starring Tamil actor Dhanush and Telugu cinema stalwart Nagarjuna.
A First Time for This Combo
Till now, there hasn't been a film that brought Nani and Sekhar Kammula together. Sekhar has expressed his desire to work with Nani on multiple occasions. However, he has worked with Sai Pallavi in two films previously. She was introduced to the industry as a heroine with his film 'Fidaa', and she was also the leading lady in the film 'Love Story' starring Naga Chaitanya. Both these films were blockbuster successes and brought significant recognition to Sai Pallavi as an actress. On the other hand, Sai Pallavi and Nani have already worked together in two films, 'MCA' (Middle Class Abbayi) and 'Shyam Singha Roy', both of which received positive responses. Fans are eagerly anticipating a hat-trick success from their combo.
Will it Take a While?
After the film 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram', Nani is currently gearing up for 'Hit 3' under the direction of Sailesh Kolanu. A glimpse of this film was recently released and captured attention. Additionally, Nani is planning another film with director Sujeeth and another with the director of 'Dasara'. Given these commitments, it might take another two years for this rare combo to be set, and Sekhar Kammula is also busy with the filming of 'Kubera'.

Saripodhaa Sanivaaram Weekend Collections: ‘Saripodhaa Sanivaaram’ is unstoppable even with Heavy Rains.
Nani's latest film 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram' (Saripodhaa Sanivaaram Weekend Collections) released on Thursday (August 29) has garnered positive buzz. Along with Nani, the villain played by S.J. Suryah has received accolades from the audience. Consequently, the film is creating a storm at the box office. Despite continuous heavy rains across Telugu states over the past three days, Nani's film's momentum has not slowed down. Furthermore, daily theater occupancy has been increasing. In this context, how much did Nani's film collect over the weekend? Let's look at the collections for the first four days.
Weekend Collections: How much?
The film "Saripodhaa Sanivaaram," starring Nani as the hero and Priyanka Arul Mohan as the female lead, is exceeding everyone's expectations and is showering the box office with collections. The makers have officially announced that the film has grossed ₹68.72 crores worldwide in the first four days. They also released a special poster to mark this achievement. According to trade sources, "Saripodhaa Sanivaaram" has collected ₹33.50 crores in India and ₹18 crores overseas. The film has reportedly earned ₹29.65 crores in the two Telugu states. Additionally, it has collected ₹4.65 crores in Karnataka, ₹3.23 crores in Tamil Nadu, ₹27 lakhs in Kerala, and ₹1.45 crores in the rest of India.
Heading towards the ₹100 crore mark...
Given the performance of 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram' at the box office, it appears easily poised to reach the ₹100 crore mark. It has already collected nearly ₹60 crores in just four days. Trade circles believe that if not for the cyclonic conditions in Telugu states, the collections could have been even higher. If the rain impact diminishes, 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram' has a chance to significantly increase its collections, potentially crossing ₹100 crores effortlessly. Nani's film 'Dasara' was the only one to surpass ₹100 crores in his career so far. Fans are eagerly anticipating this to be his second film to cross that mark.
Coming to OTT in a month..!
'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram' (Saripodhaa Sanivaaram OTT), the film by Nani in collaboration with Vivek Athreya, is set to debut on OTT platforms within a month. Strong buzz suggests it will stream on Netflix starting September 26, available in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. However, there is no clear information yet about the Hindi version. There's also a possibility that the Hindi version might stream on Jio Cinema. Depending on the collections and audience response, changes to the OTT release date might occur.
Highlights of the film
Vivek Athreya, recognized as a classic director from his films 'Mental Madhilo', 'Brochevarevarura', and 'Ante Sundaraniki', introduces his rural mass style through this film. Differing from his usual style, the film is crafted with breathtaking action scenes and has been receiving accolades. Nani and S.J. Suryah's performances, the action sequences, and the background music by Jakes Bejoy are major highlights. Notably, the Tom and Jerry-style scenes between the hero and the villain have delighted the audience. However, the film's length, lack of twists, missing commercial elements, and a predictable storyline are seen as drawbacks.
'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram' Storyline
Surya (Nani), working as an LIC agent, cannot tolerate injustice. He chooses Saturdays to unleash his anger. Meanwhile, the people of Sokulapalem suffer under the tyranny of police officer Daya (S.J. Suryah), who abuses his power to oppress them. Amid dramatic events, the hero decides to stand with the people of Sokulapalem. How does Surya confront the ruthless police officer? What challenges does he face in the process? What prompts him to act specifically on Saturdays? What is his love track with the heroine Priyanka Mohan? Natural Star Nani continues to impress with a variety of films. His latest, 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram,' directed by Vivek Athreya, was released on August 29 and received widespread positive feedback. Alongside Nani, S.J. Suryah's role as the villain has been particularly praised by audiences, though some aspects have been critiqued on social media. Overall, Nani's film has garnered positive reviews and achieved impressive first-day earnings. Let's look at the details now.

'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram,' featuring Nani and Priyanka Arul Mohan, has met expectations on its first day at the box office, collecting ₹20.3 crores (GROSS) worldwide. The film earned ₹8.8 crores in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana alone. Overseas, it gathered ₹7.6 crores. Additionally, it made ₹1.4 crores in Karnataka and ₹2.5 crores in the rest of India. Given the positive reviews, the film is expected to maintain solid earnings over the weekend. The spike in ticket bookings following the film's success is attributed to its hit status.
Less than 'Dasara'!
Nani's previous film, 'Hi Nanna,' grossed ₹10.5 crores on its opening day. 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram' has doubled those earnings, a notable achievement. However, it still falls short of Nani’s earlier film 'Dasara,' a high-voltage action drama directed by Srikanth Odela, which made over ₹38 crores on its first day, marking the highest opening in Nani's career. Compared to 'Dasara,' 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram' earned about ₹18 crores less, yet it still holds the record for the second-highest opening in Nani's career.
Highlights of the Film
Recognized as a classic director for films like 'Mental Madhilo,' 'Brochevarevarura,' and 'Ante Sundaraniki,' Vivek Athreya has introduced his rustic mass appeal with this film. Diverging from his usual style, he crafted captivating action sequences that have won accolades. The performances of Nani and S.J. Suryah, the action scenes, and the background score by Jakes Bejoy are highlights of the film. Particularly, the Tom and Jerry-style confrontations between the hero and the villain have delighted audiences. However, the film's excessive length, lack of twists, absence of commercial elements, and predictable storyline have been pointed out as drawbacks.
'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram' Story
Surya (Nani) works as an LIC agent who cannot tolerate injustice. He chooses Saturday to express his anger. Meanwhile, the people of Sokulapalem are suffering. Police officer Daya (S.J.
