Exclusive: The Top Telugu Movie Flops That Had Audiences Leaving Before the Interval in Recent Times.
Exclusive: The Top Telugu Movie Flops That Had Audiences Leaving Before the Interval in Recent Times.
Tollywood has released countless films throughout its history. Naturally, not all of these films achieve blockbuster status. Audience responses can be mixed—while some movies become hits, others do not fare as well. The films we're going to discuss next, however, were particularly flops. Reports indicate that audiences walked out of the theaters before these movies even reached the halfway mark. Let's take a look at these films. [toc] Extra Ordinary Man From the day of its release, the recent film featuring Nithiin and Sreeleela , 'Extra Ordinary Man', encountered heavy criticism and trolling on social media. Critics admitted struggling to watch it even until the interval. Viewers were puzzled by the protagonist's actions, which seemed entirely controlled by the villain. 'Extra Ordinary Man' quickly became one of the most trolled films in Nithiin's career. Shaakuntalam 'Shaakuntalam', starring Samantha, arrived with high expectations, being her first venture into mythological cinema, and the promotional content had amplified these anticipations. However, the reception took a downturn after its release. Critics believed Samantha was not well-suited for the role of Shaakuntala, and pointed out issues with the dubbing. Online commenters also noted that the film was difficult to watch even through the first half. Radhe Shyam 'Radhe Shyam', featuring Prabhas and Pooja Hegde, fell short of audience expectations. Although Prabhas's dashing vintage appearance had raised hopes, the film's blend of astrology and romance failed to connect with viewers. Social media was a buzz with comments from fans who felt bored within the first hour and many reported leaving the theater at the interval. World Famous Lover The film 'World Famous Lover', featuring Vijay Deverakonda with heroines Raashii Khanna, Aishwarya Rajesh, Catherine, and Izabelle, began facing trolls from its release. Critics targeted the movie for its focus solely on romance, lacking a substantial plot. Some netizens harshly commented that Vijay might be better suited for adult films. Social media posts reflected anticipation for the interval, with viewers eager to exit the theater. Brahmotsavam 'Brahmotsavam' is often cited as a significant disappointment in Mahesh Babu's career, leaving a lasting mark, as per his fans. Despite featuring a star-studded ensemble including Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha, and Pranitha, along with Satyaraj, Jayasudha, Revathi, Tulasi, and Rao Ramesh, the film did not engage audiences. Trolling started from the very first showing on its release day, with even Mahesh Babu's own fans admitting they walked out halfway through the movie. Son Of India 'Son Of India', featuring the veteran actor Manchu Mohan Babu, encountered significant negativity even before its release. Notably, only two tickets were sold for the first show on opening day at one theater, an incident that quickly went viral on social media, with speculations that even those tickets might have been purchased by the Manchu family themselves. The few who did watch the film gave it negative reviews, resulting in its rapid withdrawal from theaters. It is considered the biggest disaster in Mohan Babu's career. Vinaya Vidheya Rama 'Vinaya Vidheya Rama', a film by Ram Charan and director Boyapati Srinu, faced widespread criticism from its first showing. People took to social media to label the film as extremely poor and expressed eagerness for the interval so they could leave. Audiences found certain scenes, like Ram Charan standing on a moving train to Bihar or him beheading the villain's henchmen and carrying their heads, hard to accept. Liger 'Liger', another disaster in Vijay Deverakonda's career, was directed by Puri Jagannadh and released on a Pan-India scale, only to receive a flop response. Interest in the film faded within the first hour of its release, leading to a flood of posts on the internet. Critics questioned why Vijay put so much effort into a role that ultimately did not seem to fit him well. Sakthi When you think of disasters in Telugu cinema, 'Sakthi' is often the first film that comes to mind. Its director, Meher Ramesh, is still playfully criticized by NTR fans. Viewers questioned how Tarak (NTR ) agreed to the script after just the first show. Criticisms also targeted the flashback scenes, noting that Tarak's look was completely unsuitable. The same director's film 'Shadow' with Venkatesh also ended up as a disaster. Interestingly, 'Shakthi' was still being mentioned during the release of Meher Ramesh's recent film 'Bhola Shankar'. Saleem 'Saleem', featuring Manchu Vishnu and Ileana D'Cruz, stands out as one of the notable failures in Telugu cinema. Manchu Vishnu notably slimmed down for his role in the film. Critics remarked that the movie appeared to be a jumble of four to five different film scripts combined. Comments indicated that the film turned dull before even reaching the midpoint of the first part.

Nani and Vijay Deverakonda: Battling Nepotism in Tollywood's Tier 2
Nani and Vijay Deverakonda: Battling Nepotism in Tollywood's Tier 2
Nepotism has always been a hot topic in the film industry. Following the tragic demise of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, the debate around nepotism intensified. There's a widespread belief that nepotism bars opportunities for outsiders as industry heirs dominate the space. Nepotism has become commonplace, and Tollywood is no exception. It's often said that, after Bollywood, our industry has a high number of heroes from film families, leaving actors like Nani, Vijay Deverakonda, Nithiin, Adivi Sesh, Sharwanand, and Gopichand categorized as 'Tier 2' heroes. But how much truth is there to this? Are they truly unable to succeed because of nepotism? Let's find out in this special report. What Exactly is 'Tier 2'? Generally, in every industry, actors are classified into two or three tiers based on their popularity. In Tollywood, names like Prabhas, Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Allu Arjun, Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, Chiranjeevi, and Balakrishna are considered 'Tier 1' heroes. They create a festive atmosphere in theaters upon the release of their films, recovering about 30% to 50% of the budget on the first day itself due to their massive fan following. Tier 2 heroes, as previously mentioned, including Nani, Vijay Deverakonda, Nithiin, Ram Pothineni, Naga Chaitanya, and Gopichand, may lag slightly behind in terms of remuneration, fan base, and budget of the films. Despite competing with top-tier heroes and being active in the industry, their films' collections tend to be limited. Unseen by Star Directors! Star directors like Rajamouli, Trivikram, Sukumar, and Koratala Siva prefer working with top-tier heroes, which, fans argue, does injustice to stars like Vijay Deverakonda and Nani. The exclusion by star directors reportedly prevents these actors from achieving pan-Indian success. Even though they release films with new directors at a pan-India level, they don't achieve the expected results. Hero Nani faced this with his project 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram,' planned for a pan-India release but still not released in Hindi. Fans suggest that despite having talent, the lack of star power beyond Tollywood is a disadvantage for Nani. Are Stories Failing Too? A great cast cannot save a film if the story fails. Whether a film is a success or a failure largely depends on the story. Fans are questioning whether 'Tier 2' heroes are choosing their scripts wisely. Recent films like Ram Pothineni's 'Double iSmart', Ravi Teja's 'Mr Bachchan', Nithiin's 'Extraordinary Man', and Gopichand's 'Rambanam' have left fans puzzled over why these actors accepted these projects. With big scripts mostly going to top-tier heroes, 'Tier 2' actors have to settle for what's left, some commentators feel. Nepotism vs Talent! The notion that only heirs in the film industry can succeed is a myth. If that were true, every offspring from major film families would become a star hero. No matter the background, without acting talent, longevity in the industry is impossible, as many heirs have demonstrated. Actors like Nani, Vijay Deverakonda, Ravi Teja, Siddhu Jonnalagadda, Adivi Sesh, and Naveen Polishetty have made their mark without any significant background, solely based on their talent. A significant success for Nani could propel him to 'Tier 1', fueling speculations among fans. The Fault Lies in the Audience! In a past interview, actors Rana and Nani made interesting comments about nepotism. Rana highlighted the unseen pressures and responsibilities that come with inheritance, stating that nepotism only helps to an extent, and without talent, one cannot survive in the industry. Nani, addressing the role of nepotism in cinema, mentioned that it's not industry insiders but the audience that fosters nepotism. He pointed out the disparity in audience size between his debut and that of actor Charan, questioning the audience's role in perpetuating nepotism.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga: The New Age Rajamouli of Indian Cinema?
Sandeep Reddy Vanga: The New Age Rajamouli of Indian Cinema?
Director Rajamouli, a pride of the nation, has achieved recognition as a filmmaker of extraordinary calibre. He delights audiences at a pan-India level with his films, setting a benchmark for other directors with movies like 'RRR,' bringing prestigious awards like the Oscars to India. Currently, the name resonating at that level is Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Despite having directed only three films, he commands attention that many directors aspire for. Stars are eager to work in his films, much like they are for Rajamouli's projects. Let's delve into why this is the case. Unique Direction Sandeep Reddy Vanga made his directorial debut with 'Arjun Reddy,' captivating the youth with his portrayal of the hero. He replicated his success by remaking the film in Hindi as 'Kabir Singh.' Recently, he shook the box office with 'Animal' starring Ranbir Singh. Sandeep's narrative style is considered unique compared to other directors, known for establishing hero characters powerfully. This distinctive direction has made top stars keen to collaborate with him. Queuing Stars! After the blockbuster 'Animal,' the buzz is that Sandeep will be teaming up with Prabhas for 'Spirit.' Following this, Allu Arjun is confirmed to be the hero in another upcoming project. Mahesh Babu is also said to have agreed to a movie with Sandeep post his project with Rajamouli. Sandeep has already discussed the story with Mahesh, as per various interviews. Recently, there have been talks with Jr. NTR, and Charan is expected to discuss a potential project soon. Beyond these stars, there's talk of 'Animal-2' in Bollywood, indicating Sandeep's widespread popularity. Despite their busy schedules, stars are ready to allocate dates for a chance to work with Sandeep, who, like Rajamouli, is desired by cinema lovers across India for his pan-Indian success. Spirit Heroine Fixed With Prabhas as the hero, massive expectations surround 'Spirit,' directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The industry is eagerly awaiting the commencement of filming. Currently busy with pre-production, the director has sparked intense curiosity online. Rumors are that Bollywood's seasoned actress Kareena Kapoor will star opposite Prabhas. Having been a top heroine in Bollywood, Kareena now occasionally appears in films and web series. News of her returning as a lead actress alongside a star hero has generated much interest. Fans are already speculating about the chemistry between Prabhas and Kareena, awaiting an official announcement from the 'Spirit' team. Prabhas’s Villain Repeats! Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan, recently known for villain roles, played Ravana in 'Adipurush' and opposed Jr. NTR in 'Devara.' His menacing appearance in the recently released 'Devara' trailer captivated audiences. Another buzz about 'Spirit' suggests that Saif will also appear in a negative role here, pitted against Prabhas in a powerful character. An intriguing aspect is that Saif’s wife, Kareena Kapoor, rumored to be the heroine in 'Spirit,' might see the couple portraying hero and villain on screen, which adds an interesting layer to the anticipation for the film. If true, expectations for 'Spirit' are set to climb to new heights.

Sopathulu OTT Review: A Heartfelt Tale of Childhood Friendship Amidst the Pandemic
Cast: Bhanu Prakash, Srujan, Mani Egurla, Mohan Bhagath, Ravinder Bommakanti, Anjayya Milkuri, Padma, and others. Written and Directed by: Ananth Vardhan Music by: Sanjeet Erramilli Cinematography by: Muthyala Sunil Editor: Venkat Reddy Producer: Vinod Anantoju OTT Platform: ETV Win ETV Win, a leading OTT platform, has been bringing a series of interesting films and web series recently. As part of this lineup, they introduced 'Sopathulu' to the streaming world. This film, set against the backdrop of student friendships, has made its way to OTT. How is this film centered around two children? What is the bond between these friends? Let's find out in this review. What is the Story About? Chintu (Master Bhanu Prakash) and Guddu (Srujan) are best friends who are inseparable. An unexpected event, COVID-19, forces them to part ways. Due to the lockdown and lack of work, Guddu's family moves back to their hometown from Mahabubabad. Guddu's departure leaves Chintu feeling lonely and isolated. Despite their young age, Chintu makes extraordinary efforts to meet his friend, and on the other side, Guddu also struggles to reunite with his buddy. Will they meet again? Did Chintu's brother's dream of becoming a photographer come true? To know more, one must watch the film. Performance Analysis Although there are few characters, each actor delivers a satisfying performance. Master Bhanu Prakash, as Chintu, captivates with his timing and brings laughter. Srujan, as Guddu, also impresses in his performance. Their acting feels very natural and the entire story revolves around them. Mohan Bhagath, known from 'C/o Kancharapalem', plays a significant role and makes his presence felt adequate. Mani Egurla, Anusha Ramesh, Anjimama, and others perform well in their respective roles as per the story's requirements. Direction Director Ananth Vardhan has beautifully portrayed the friendship of two young boys against the backdrop of COVID-19 and lockdown. He visually illustrates the struggles middle-class families faced during the pandemic. Starting the story slowly with the background of Chintu and Guddu's families, the director gradually builds interest. The struggles faced by Guddu due to the lack of a smartphone for online classes are touching. The portrayal of Chintu's brother as a modern-day youth is relatable and engaging. The climax is also satisfying. However, the film lacks commercial elements, predictable plot progression, and sometimes takes too long to introduce characters, which can be seen as drawbacks. Technical Aspects Technically, the cinematography is good, and the background music is also appealing. The editor has efficiently fulfilled his responsibilities. The production values are apt for the scale of the film. Plus Points - Child actors' performances - Emotional depth - Music Minus Points - Lack of commercial elements - Predictable storyline Rating by Telugu.yousay.tv: 3/5

He hinted that the movie is on another level, particularly praising the first half as mesmerizing. He revealed that they have already seen the locked first half, which is mind-blowing, including three scenes that are as intense as an interval in just the first half alone. Sukumar’s script and direction, along with Allu Arjun’s performance, are expected to bring a phenomenal cinematic experience. The background score of 'Pushpa 2' is also anticipated to be extraordinary. https://twitter.com/Cinema__Factory/status/1845798162478272773 Trailer in November’s Second Week! The chemistry and dance moves of Bunny and Sam energized the youth. Continuing this trend, director Sukumar plans to include a similar item song in 'Pushpa 2'. Many names have been considered for this special song, with Mrunal Thakur now being the latest mentioned. The Future of Telugu Cinema: Directors Who Could Rival S.S.Rajamouli's Success
The Future of Telugu Cinema: Directors Who Could Rival S.S.Rajamouli's Success
Among India's esteemed directors, S.S. Rajamouli is distinguished by his unbroken streak of success. With films like 'RRR,' he has propelled Telugu cinema to international prominence and is currently poised to penetrate the global market with 'SSMB29,' starring Mahesh Babu. However, there are ongoing discussions among North Indian audiences about whether any Telugu directors can match Rajamouli's achievements. In response, we are giving several dynamic directors making their mark who can impact the Indian box office in a manner akin to Rajamouli. Who are these directors? Let's explore. [toc] Nag Ashwin Currently, one of the most talked-about directors in Tollywood is Nag Ashwin. His upcoming film 'Kalki 2898 AD' featuring Prabhas is creating buzz at a global level. This science fiction movie, inspired by Indian mythology, is set to release worldwide on June 27. Film analysts believe that if this movie succeeds, there will be no turning back for Nag Ashwin's career. This film has the potential to elevate Tollywood to a new level and could bring immense fame to Nag Ashwin. His vision, execution, and unique promotions remind one of Rajamouli’s style. Director Rajamouli consistently sets the standard in incorporating technology into cinema, known for world-class graphics, inventive weaponry, distinctive costumes, and extraordinary hero portrayals. Director Nag Ashwin, in a similar vein, channels Rajamouli’s innovative spirit by leveraging cutting-edge technology for 'Kalki'. The film features a specially designed vehicle named 'Bujji', used by Prabhas for his on-screen adventures. On Wednesday (May 22), a special preview of 'Bujji' was released, rapidly gaining popularity on YouTube. https://twitter.com/i/status/1793606030703927405 The 'Bujji' special vehicle was developed in collaboration with Mahindra company, costing around 7 crores. Normally, it takes five to ten years to develop a new vehicle, but director Nag Ashwin has integrated the Mahindra team into the film to direct them according to his vision. He stated in the 'Bujji' glimpse release event that this vehicle plays an important role in the movie. He thanked the Mahindra team for their cooperation in creating the vehicle. https://twitter.com/i/status/1793303611583418579 Sukumar Before "Pushpa: The Rise," Sukumar was primarily recognized within Tollywood, but the film's success catapulted him to a pan-India directorial status. His direction in "Pushpa" left a strong impression, especially his transformation of the stylish Allu Arjun into a rugged character with untidy hair and a beard, perfectly matching the role's demands. Unlike Rajamouli, who is known for emphasizing the interval and climax scenes with intense action, Sukumar adopted a unique approach in "Pushpa." He designed these key scenes without violence, thereby intensifying anticipation for the second half. In the climax, Pushpa's confrontation with SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat (Fahadh Faasil) set the stage intriguingly for the upcoming sequel. Everyone is waiting eagerly for the sequel 'Pushpa 2: The Rule', set to release on August 15. The makers have already started promotions. If this movie is successful, Sukumar’s stature is expected to rise significantly. He has also announced that his next film will star Ram Charan. Rumors are that 'Pushpa 3' is also in the pipeline, suggesting that Sukumar could reach Rajamouli's level of popularity in the next 2-3 years. Sandeep Reddy Vanga Tollywood sensation director Sandeep Reddy Vanga has proven his mettle with the movie 'Animal'. He has earned a unique recognition by making films with different concepts and has changed the style of cinema making, similar to Rajamouli. He is currently preparing to shoot his next film with Prabhas, titled 'Spirit'. In 'Spirit', Prabhas will appear as a police officer for the first time, and his character is expected to be very powerful. A poster related to Prabhas’s character has already been released, showing him in a different style of police uniform, reminiscent of an international cop look. Sandeep has promised that 'Spirit' will feature even stronger content than 'Animal', and he is confident that the movie will collect 150 crores on the first day alone, reaching 1500 crores in collections within a week if it receives positive reviews. Following 'Spirit', Sandeep Reddy is set to direct with Ranbir Kapoor in 'Animal 2'. If these two films are successful, film analysts believe that Sandeep could achieve a level of fame comparable to Rajamouli. Prasanth Varma Young director Prasanth Varma has made a nationwide impact with his film 'HanuMan'. Achieving star director status with just his third movie, 'HanuMan' has become this year's highest-grossing film, collecting over Rs. 350 crores and surpassing expectations at the box office. Prasanth Varma is now developing 'Hanuman 2' and is rumored to be directing a period film featuring Bollywood star Ranveer Singh. Success in these two projects could elevate Prasanth Varma's reputation to a national level. Prashanth Neel Kannada director Prashanth Neel has achieved solid success with 'Salaar,' featuring Tollywood star Prabhas. His directing style has greatly impressed even Rajamouli. Prashanth Neel has captivated everyone by providing elevations that match Prabhas' on-screen persona, presenting him as a strong personality in 'Salaar.' He designed the interval sequence wonderfully, reminiscent of Rajamouli’s style. Every appearance of Prabhas on screen sent chills down the fans' spines. Currently, Prashanth Neel is fully dedicated to 'Salaar: Part 2 - Shouryanga Parvam'. Success with this film could establish him as one of the top directors nationally. He is also preparing for 'NTR31' with Tarak, expected to start production soon, and the production company has announced that 'KGF 3' is underway. If these three projects are successful, Prashanth Neel’s fame could rival that of Rajamouli. Koratala Siva Koratala Siva, a noted director in Tollywood, has seen substantial box office success with all his films except 'Acharya'. He is now directing a pan-India film titled 'Devara' featuring Tarak, set against a coastal backdrop and generating significant buzz. The film, which includes Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan and music by Anirudh, will release in two parts, the first on October 10. The promotional materials, including a thrilling scene of Tarak with a sword, have heightened expectations. Success with 'Devara' could elevate Koratala Siva to national prominence. If both parts succeed, he could become one of the country's most prominent directors. Sujeeth Sujeeth, recognized for his stylish direction, possesses skills akin to Hollywood filmmakers and is often compared to S.S. Rajamouli. Following 'Baahubali,' he directed Prabhas in 'Saaho.' Despite the film not meeting box office expectations, audiences appreciated Sujeeth’s direction, screenplay, and innovative approach, especially his execution of action scenes. He showcased Prabhas in a notably stylish role. At that time, it was said that Sujeeth would not need to look back if he could achieve a significant hit. Currently, he is directing 'OG' with Pawan Kalyan, anticipated as a pan-India release. Early glimpses have already excited Pawan's fans, where he portrays a gangster. If 'OG' succeeds, it is believed that Sujeeth's career could soar, with some analysts suggesting that two major hits might propel him to a status comparable to Rajamouli's. Buchi Babu Buchi Babu is one of the few directors who achieved a solid hit with their debut film. With 'Uppena,' he introduced a pure love story to the audience, proving his significant talent to the industry. He has now risen to a level where he is set to direct his next film with Tollywood star Ram Charan. This upcoming film, a sports drama, will also be released at a pan-India level. Analysts believe that if Buchi Babu's talent combines well with Ram Charan's star power, the film is sure to succeed. They also opine that his name will become well-known at a national level if this project succeeds.

Jr NTR New Project: Tarak Agrees to a Mind-Blowing Project, Prepare for Another blockbuster!
Jr NTR New Project: Tarak Agrees to a Mind-Blowing Project, Prepare for Another blockbuster!
Tarak's latest film, 'Devara', has achieved solid success at the box office, amassing over ₹400 crores in just a week and continuing its strong performance in theaters. Following the success of this movie, all eyes are on Tarak's next project. Currently working on 'War 2' in Bollywood, Jr NTR is set to soon start 'NTR 31' with director Prashanth Neel. There's a strong buzz about this upcoming project. However, according to the latest updates, Tarak has agreed to another exciting project, rumored to be with a prominent Tamil director. "Pan-India Film with 'Jailer' Director!" It is reported that Jr NTR, the 'Man of Masses', has given the green light to another ambitious project. He will be working with Nelson Dilipkumar, the Tamil star director known for successful films like 'Doctor', 'Beast', and 'Jailer'. The story pitched by Nelson has reportedly captivated Tarak, and there's a strong buzz within film circles about this. Plans are being made to produce this as a pan-India film, with an official announcement expected soon. Nelson's reputation has soared pan-India, especially after the hits 'Beast' and 'Jailer', the latter featuring Rajinikanth in a compelling role. Fans are already speculating that a movie with such a director could break records. Hold Until 2026! Even though an official announcement regarding the Tarak-Nelson Dilip Kumar project might be forthcoming, the film isn't expected to start shooting anytime soon. Currently, Tarak is busy with pending shoots for 'War 2' and is about to start 'NTR 31'. Nelson is also preparing to begin shooting 'Jailer 2' once Rajinikanth completes his ongoing project. Given their busy schedules, it might take longer for this project to commence. Film circles estimate that the movie might only go on floors by 2026. Meanwhile, Tarak recently openly expressed his willingness to work with Tamil director Vetrimaaran, hinting at potential future collaborations. Our Strength is Him: Tarak At the success meet of 'Devara' held last Friday, Tarak made some interesting comments. He showered praise on his brother-in-law Harikrishna, emphasizing his often unnoticed but fundamental role. "Hari always stays in the background; many don't understand him because he doesn't come forward to speak about himself. Regardless of what anyone says or thinks, Hari is the cornerstone of NTR Arts. To Kalyan and me, Hari is our strength. Those who appreciate this will understand; others don't need to," Tarak stated. Jr NTR as a Farmer from Bangladesh! Under Prashanth Neel's direction, the upcoming 'NTR 31', co-produced by Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts, has been creating a buzz in Tollywood. This period action drama is set to portray Tarak as a farmer, with the story unfolding against a Bangladeshi backdrop. It's said that the young man, living a simple life as a farmer, becomes involved in extraordinary events that lead to a significant struggle for the locals. Prashanth Neel plans to showcase Tarak in two distinct variations, promising a level of characterization and performance that surpasses his previous roles. Has the Heroine Been Decided? Director Prashanth Neel is currently deep into pre-production work for 'NTR 31', focusing on casting. There's talk of Rashmika Mandanna being considered to star opposite Tarak, which would mark their first film together if it materializes. The director aims to release 'NTR 31' as a Sankranthi gift in 2026 and is planning to start shooting soon. Ravi Basrur will be composing the music, with Bhuvan Gowda taking on the cinematography responsibilities for the film.

Does 'Double iSmart' Deliver? A Deep Dive into Ram Pothineni's Latest Outing
Energetic Star Ram Pothineni and Kavya Thapar starred in 'Double iSmart', which was released globally amidst high expectations. Following the flop of 'Liger' by Puri Jagannadh and the failure of 'Skanda' by Ram Pothineni, this film has generated significant buzz among audiences and the industry alike. Did the film live up to expectations? Did the Ram-Puri combo hit the mark again? Let’s delve into this review. What’s the Story? Mafia boss Big Bull (Sanjay Dutt) wants to live forever. In this quest, doctors suggest the possibility of memory transfer. Attempts to transfer Big Bull’s memory to various individuals fail. During these attempts, Big Bull learns about iSmart Shankar. They decide to transfer Big Bull’s memory to Shankar. Was the memory successfully transferred to Shankar’s brain? What does iSmart Shankar do next? Why do Big Bull and iSmart Shankar clash again? What is the relationship between Kavya Thapar and Shankar? What significance does Boka's (Ali) character have in the film? How's the Movie? The first half of the movie includes love and comedy tracks, laden with Telangana slang and mass festivities. Puri Jagannadh’s trademark punch dialogues and his style of comedy scenes are captivating. From the interval action sequence onwards, twists upon twists are revealed. Scenes featuring Ram and Sanjay Dutt are particularly striking. The climax twist takes the movie to the next level. Dialogues are a special attraction, with Ram's Telangana slang proverbs hitting the mark. Romantic scenes between Ram and Kavya Thapar, as well as the mind games between Ram and Sanjay Dutt, and the mother sentiment, are all interesting. Ram’s energetic performance is engaging. Ali’s comedy scenes are well-done. How Did They Perform? Ram Pothineni excels as iSmart Shankar. His acting in this film is triple times more mass-oriented than in the previous iSmart Shankar movie. It's evident from this film that he has put in an extraordinary effort. Sanjay Dutt as Big Bull delivers a superb performance, doing complete justice to his role. Kavya Thapar, as the heroine Jannat, fits perfectly into her role. Shaaji Shinde as a CBI officer, Bunny Jayashankar, Ram's mother played by Jhansi, Boka played by Ali, and Ram’s friend played by Getup Srinu all perform commendably within the scope of their roles. How's the Direction? After the flop of Liger, it is evident that Puri Jagannadh has written this film with great care. This film marks a comeback for Puri, who has effectively brought his envisioned story to life. The screenplay is also good. Puri Jagannadh has filled the film with elements that attract the youth. The scenes from the pre-climax to the climax elevate the movie to another level. Once again, Puri introduces the old charm with his trademark punch dialogues. The mother sentiment is good but could have been elevated further. Overall, Puri succeeded in making a film that appeals to the youth. Technically On a technical level, the film is of high quality. Every frame appears rich. Mani Sharma’s music is satisfactory. Cinematography by Gian K. Gian and Shyam K. Naidu is commendable. Overall, this film can be termed a mass feast. Plus Points - Ram Pothineni’s acting - Puri’s direction - Scenes between Sanjay Dutt and Ram Minus Points - Lengthy comedy track by Ali - Some of the songs Verdict: Overall, Double iSmart Shankar is a youthful entertainer packed with mass elements. Rating: 3/5

Pushpa 2: Will Sreeleela’s 'Kissik' Outshine 'Oo Antava'?
Pushpa 2: Will Sreeleela’s 'Kissik' Outshine 'Oo Antava'?
Pushpa 2, starring Allu Arjun and directed by Sukumar, has created immense buzz across the country. The film is set to release worldwide on December 5. It’s already known that star heroine Sreeleela has performed the item song Kissik in the film, which was announced through a special poster by the makers. Earlier, a leaked photo from the set showing Sreeleela and Bunny dancing heightened anticipation among fans about the song. With just two weeks to go for the release of Pushpa 2, the movie team has been giving frequent updates, including an exciting one about the much-awaited item song. A Day to Remember! The Pushpa 2 team recently delighted fans with a major update about the movie. The makers officially announced that the Kissik song will be released on November 24 at exactly 7:02 PM. A special poster showcasing Bunny and Sreeleela's electrifying look was also unveiled. The poster, inspired by a step from the song, has thrilled fans, leaving both Allu Arjun fans and music lovers eagerly waiting. Expectations are sky-high for the song to captivate audiences. https://twitter.com/PushpaMovie/status/1859572237457817685 Why So Much Hype? Director Sukumar has a tradition of including an item song in all his films, starting with his debut Arya. Over his career spanning eight films, every movie has featured a hit item number. However, the hype around Kissik surpasses that of any previous song, including Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava from Pushpa. Several factors contribute to this unprecedented buzz. The makers have repeatedly stated that Pushpa 2 will surpass its predecessor. Fans are confident that Kissik will outshine Oo Antava, which shook the nation. Adding to this, Sreeleela’s dancing skills and her reputation as a better dancer than Samantha, coupled with Bunny’s legendary dance moves, have exponentially raised expectations for the song. Sreeleela’s Moves Will Steal the Show! Regardless of how the Pushpa 2 item song fares, Sreeleela’s dance performance is expected to be phenomenal. Among the current generation of actresses, Sreeleela is considered unparalleled in dance. Her moves have earned her more fans than her acting. Her performance in the Pulsar Bike song from Ravi Teja’s Dhamaka was a sensation, and her recent steps in the Kurchini Madatapetti song with Mahesh Babu created waves. Even seasoned dancers hesitate to compete with Sreeleela. Pairing her with Bunny, who is known for his dynamic dance skills, promises an extraordinary spectacle. https://twitter.com/Sarath17981476/status/1859543075531751666 A Carefully Chosen Star! Interestingly, casting Sreeleela for the Kissik song was not director Sukumar’s idea but Allu Arjun’s suggestion. Bunny had previously collaborated with Sreeleela on an ad for the OTT platform Aha, where their chemistry garnered widespread praise. Given her reputation as the best dancer among today’s heroines, Bunny reportedly insisted on bringing her on board. Before Sreeleela, names like Shraddha Kapoor, Disha Patani, and Tripti Dimri were rumored to be considered for the song. How Much Did Sreeleela Charge? Pushpa 2, made on a massive budget of ₹500 crores by Mythri Movie Makers, has spared no expense. Sukumar and the team have gone all out to deliver a grand spectacle. Reports suggest that Sreeleela was paid a whopping ₹2 crores for her performance in the Kissik song. Including the costs of the set and other expenses, the total expenditure on the song is estimated to be ₹5 crores.

Pawan Kalyan's Movies: Is 'OG' Set to Release Before 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu'?
Pawan Kalyan's Movies: Is 'OG' Set to Release Before 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu'?
With Powerstar Pawan Kalyan's entry into AP politics, his focus on cinema has significantly diminished. As a result, his movies 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu', 'OG', and 'Ustaad Bhagat Singh' have been pending for some time. However, there has been recent movement in these projects, except for 'Ustaad Bhagat Singh'. The other two have resumed shooting, and the release date for 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' has also been announced by the makers. It was believed that among Pawan’s three projects, 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' would release first. But now, the situation seems to have changed according to the buzz online. Will OG Release First? 'OG', directed by young director Sujeeth, is in Pawan Kalyan’s pipeline. The latest buzz suggests that 'OG' might be released before 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu'. Young and dynamic director Sujeeth is reportedly planning to release the movie quickly. Given the higher buzz around 'OG', the film team is considering releasing it first. They are planning to quickly complete Pawan’s shooting part and start post-production work. Discussions with Pawan are underway to announce the release date soon, which has got Pawan’s fans very excited. Hari Hara Must Step Back! 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu', starring Pawan, is an upcoming period action drama. This film was the first among his three projects to start. Director Krish launched the movie back in 2020. Despite several breaks, Krish has completed 60% of the shooting. However, Krish stepped away from the project during the election period as Pawan was fully engaged in politics. Producer Ratnam’s son, director Jyothi Krishna, has taken over the responsibilities to complete the remaining shooting. With Pawan’s consent post-elections, they have also announced that the film will hit theaters on March 28, 2025. Now, with 'OG' potentially releasing first, 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' might face new challenges. If Pawan supports the early release of 'OG', analysts believe that the team behind 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' will have no choice but to delay their release. It remains to be seen what will happen. Why All the Hype Around OG? Of all Pawan Kalyan’s current projects, 'OG' is considered very special. For the first time in his career, Pawan is playing a gangster role. Game Changer: Big Update from 'Game Changer' for Diwali!
Starring global star Ram Charan, the political action thriller 'Game Changer' directed by Tamil star director Shankar is highly anticipated. Prominent Tollywood producer Dil Raju is producing this prestigious project. The makers have already announced that the film will be released for Sankranti. In this context, there's also a buzz about setting a date for the teaser release, which is adding to the excitement of Mega fans. Let's take a look at the details. Teaser for Diwali? In the upcoming film 'Game Changer' starring Ram Charan, Bollywood beauty Kiara Advani is playing the heroine, with Anjali also appearing in a significant role. The film also features Naveen Chandra, Sunil, Srikanth, Bollywood actor Hareesh Joshi, Kollywood actors SJ Suryah, Samuthirakani, and Kannada actor Jayaram in pivotal roles. The story is provided by Karthik Subbaraju with dialogues by Sai Madhav Burra. There's a buzz online that the teaser release time is fixed, and the makers plan to release the teaser as a Diwali gift. An official announcement is expected over the weekend, and Mega fans are eagerly waiting. Record Business in Telugu States? 'The Game Changer' is expected to do massive business in the Telugu states, with trade circles estimating theatrical business could reach around ₹150 crores in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. They expect ₹70 crores from Andhra, ₹25 crores from Ceeded, and ₹55 crores from the Nizam area. Initially, such business prospects weren't anticipated when the film was considered for a December release. However, with the release being pushed to Sankranti, the business potential has reportedly increased significantly. Charan Deserves Credit! A Sankranti release means tough competition among films. This Sankranti, alongside Balakrishna and Venkatesh, films from Sundeep Kishan and Naga Chaitanya's 'Thandel' are also set to release. Despite knowing the intense competition at the box office, distributors are ready to invest heavily. Trade circles say that no other hero's film could achieve this level of business if not for Charan, who deserves full credit in this regard. High Price for OTT Rights! The OTT rights for 'Game Changer' have reportedly sold for a record price. Amazon Prime has secured the streaming rights for ₹110 crores for just the South Indian languages. The makers are also attempting to sell the Hindi digital rights to another OTT platform. Overall, the makers are expected to make around ₹150 crores from OTT alone, which is extraordinary given that the film is still two months from release. ₹20 Crores for a Single Song! The first two songs from 'Game Changer,' "Jaragandi.. Jaragandi.." and "Ra Macha Macha," have received great responses. Particularly, "Ra Macha Macha" has gone viral nationwide on YouTube. The makers are preparing to release a third single by the end of October or the first week of November. While the first two songs came with powerful beats, the third single will be a melody. The latest buzz suggests that over ₹20 crores have been spent on this third song, though the makers need to confirm this.
