Director Ritesh Rana crafts stories revolving around drugs, guns, and money. This time is no different, blending kidnapping drama with humor to entertain the audience. He successfully uses star references including Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Balakrishna, and Mahesh Babu to great effect. The characters of Sri Simha and Satya are particularly entertaining and well-developed. Every character appears fresh and funny on screen. The director keeps the first half a fun ride, though he struggles a bit in the second half where some scenes drag. The climax also feels predictable, a minor drawback.

The Story

All actors in 'Love Reddy' are relatively new. Anjan Ramachandra impresses as the lovelorn Narayana Reddy, especially given that this is his first film, captivating with his natural acting. The curiosity of whether Divya will reciprocate Love Reddy's feelings keeps the first half engaging. The second half, dealing with the rejection of his love and the reasons behind it, connects well with today's youth. The last 20 minutes are emotionally driven, making the climax particularly impactful. Overall, Smaran Reddy has marked a good score as a director.
