Dialogue Upon arriving in Shambala, Sumati is claimed by Chatterjee, the Complex representative, who instructs his men to seize her. He tells his commander that riders have been sent in all directions and they will soon capture her. Meanwhile, Prabhas, who has already battled Ashwatthama, declares they can do nothing more. Idi kuda odiponu. భైరవ : రికార్డ్స్‌ చూసుకో.. ఇంతవరకూ ఒక్క ఫైట్‌ కూడా ఓడిపోలేదు. ఇది కూడా ఓడిపోను.  Dialogue In the climax of the movie, the scene involving Kamal Haasan sends chills down the spine. After gaining power, he declares, “Jagannatha rathachakralu vastunnayi vastunnayi.. Rathachakra pralayaghola bhoomargam pattistanu.. Bhukampam puttistanu.” ('జగన్నాథ రథచక్రాల్‌ వస్తున్నాయ్‌ వస్తున్నాయ్‌.. రథచక్ర ప్రళయఘోళ భూమార్గం పట్టిస్తాను.. భూకంపం పుట్టిస్తాను') revealing the extent of the destruction he is about to unleash in the second part of his dialogue. However, this dialogue originates from Sri Sri’s epic work "Maha Prasthanam." Kamal Haasan previously delivered this dialogue in the movie "Akali Rajyam" 44 years ago. Hearing Sri Sri’s poetry from his lips after so many years again surprised the audience.       Bharateeyudu 2 Review: Kamal Haasan Returns, but Does the Sequel Match the Original's Brilliance?

The sequel, titled 'Bharateeyudu 2', was released in theaters on July 12. Alongside Kamal Haasan, the film stars Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, S.J. Surya, Bobby Simha, Brahmanandam, and Samuthirakani in pivotal roles. Has this film met expectations? Has Kamal Haasan once again captivated audiences as Bharateeyudu2? Let's explore in this review. Plot Aravindan (Siddharth) and his friends fight against corruption and injustices within the country. They spread awareness through social media videos and urge the return of Bharateeyudu. In response, the veteran freedom fighter Senapathi (Kamal Haasan), known for his previous anti-corruption crusades, returns to India. He takes decisive action against those deeply involved in corruption and motivates the youth. However, unexpected developments stir public dissent against Bharateeyudu. What exactly unfolded? Why did the public turn against Senapathi? What triggered their anger? Did Bharateeyudu succeed in his objectives upon returning? This forms the crux of the story. Performance  In 'Bharateeyudu 2', Kamal Haasan delivers a virtuoso performance, reprising the role of Senapathi with remarkable skill. Siddharth also stands out in a pivotal role. Rakul Preet Singh and S.J. Surya enhance the film with their performances, although their characters are somewhat underdeveloped. The rest of the cast delivers adequate performances. Direction Director Shankar seems to have merely repeated the narrative of Bharateeyudu. He updated an outdated story to fit modern times, focusing the sequel on showcasing how Bharateeyudu would eliminate corruption today. Shankar’s usual flair is missing in the direction. The screenplay is lackluster, and even Kamal Haasan's introduction isn't as engaging. While some scenes are well-executed, others fail to make an impact. However, Kamal Haasan's chase sequences and the fight scenes with terrorists are highlights. Performance There's nothing new to say about Rao Ramesh's acting; he perfectly embodied the character of Subramanyam throughout the film, utilizing his extensive experience. His son, played by Ankith, was quite captivating. After last week's 'Aay', he has impressed again in this film, and his antics provide a good dose of laughter. Ramya Pasupuleti, who played Kanchana, didn’t have much scope for acting but made a notable attempt at glamor. Indraja's role was limited; apart from being emotional in the beginning and dancing at the end, there wasn’t much for her. Other characters like Praveen, Harshavardhan, and Annapurnamma were satisfactory. Direction The director, Lakshman Karya, has woven the narrative around the unemployment struggles of a middle-aged man belonging to the middle class. His incorporation of natural scenarios with a touch of humor has been successful. The sudden change in Subramanyam's demeanor once money is deposited into his account, and the ensuing antics are the highlights. The second part of the movie, revolving around the problems after spending the money, is well-directed. Although predictable, Rao Ramesh’s timing and humor elevate the film. The plot twists in the climax add intrigue, but Ankith’s love track and some illogical scenes and unfunny comedy bits are downsides. Technically... On the technical front, every department has performed well. The cinematography is notably colorful, and the songs are pleasant to listen to. The background score effectively elevates the scenes. Editing is also decent. The production values appear quite rich.
