A complex announces a bounty of 5000 units on a young man. A gang sets out to capture him. In the midst of his escape, Bujji (an AI vehicle) shackles him. Then, the villain's gang opens fire on Bujji. Amidst this, Bujji introduces her boss, Bhairav (Prabhas), elevating his status.

As soon as that dialogue is spoken, rain begins to fall immediately, a rare event in that region. The people of Shambala believe that the birth of Kalki will occur from her womb as her arrival brings rain. This scene gives the audience goosebumps.

Upon arriving in Shambala, Sumati is claimed by Chatterjee, the Complex representative, who instructs his men to seize her. He tells his commander that riders have been sent in all directions and they will soon capture her. Meanwhile, Prabhas, who has already battled Ashwatthama, declares they can do nothing more. The dialogue between him and Chatterjee captivates the audience.

In the climax of the movie, the scene involving Kamal Haasan sends chills down the spine. After gaining power, he declares, “Jagannatha rathachakralu vastunnayi vastunnayi.. Rathachakra pralayaghola bhoomargam pattistanu.. Bhukampam puttistanu.” ('జగన్నాథ రథచక్రాల్‌ వస్తున్నాయ్‌ వస్తున్నాయ్‌.. రథచక్ర ప్రళయఘోళ భూమార్గం పట్టిస్తాను.. భూకంపం పుట్టిస్తాను') revealing the extent of the destruction he is about to unleash in the second part of his dialogue. However, this dialogue originates from Sri Sri’s epic work "Maha Prasthanam." Kamal Haasan previously delivered this dialogue in the movie "Akali Rajyam" 44 years ago. Hearing Sri Sri’s poetry from his lips after so many years again surprised the audience.

In "Kalki," Prabhas, who has been playing Bhairava, shocks everyone by appearing as Karna in the final part. In the last ten minutes, featuring an episode from the Mahabharata, he as Karna shakes the screen. Holding a bow and standing on a chariot, Prabhas declares, "Is it too late, son of the teacher?" sending the entire theater into a frenzy. The introduction of Bhairava as Karna, especially during this climactic scene at Kurukshetra, draws loud cheers.

Kalki 2 Prediction: Will 'Kalki 2' Gross ₹2000 Crores? The Real Story is in 'Part 2'!
Currently, the Indian film industry is abuzz with discussions about 'Kalki 2898 AD'. Two weeks post-release, the film's collections are still robust, exceeding all box office expectations. Director Nag Ashwin has creatively intertwined mythology with the future, earning acclaim for his innovative storytelling. Audiences feel they've been taken to another world while watching the film. Yet, there's growing speculation that what we've witnessed is merely a precursor. Rumors suggest the sequel will be on a scale never seen before, with expectations that if 'Kalki' had a target of ₹1000 crores, Part 2 will aim for ₹2000 crores.
The Real Story is in 'Part 2'!
'Kalki 2898 AD' appears to serve primarily as an introduction to its characters. The narrative centers around Prabhas as Bhairava, Deepika Padukone as Sumati, Amitabh Bachchan as Ashwatthama, Kamal Hassan as the villain Supreme Yashkin, and Vijay Deverakonda as Arjuna. The first installment focuses on establishing each character's background and significance within the storyline. It portrays the trials faced by people at the end of Kali Yuga and the turmoil inflicted by the villain Supreme Yashkin. In the Kalki 1st part, Kamal Hassan's role lasts less than 15 minutes, with very few dialogues, limiting the audience's opportunity to see his performance. By injecting a serum derived from Sumati (Deepika Padukone), Supreme Yashkin gains divine powers, becoming even more powerful, as shown at the climax of 'Kalki'. This suggests that Kamal Hassan’s character will be fully developed in 'Kalki 2'. At a recent event, Kamal himself confirmed he would have a more significant presence in the sequel. On the technical front, all departments exhibited exceptional skill. The graphics department especially deserves high praise. The cinematographer’s work is outstanding. Santhosh Narayanan’s music is a significant plus for the film, particularly elevating the action sequences. The editor could have sharpened his cuts a bit more. The production values are very high, with no compromises on the budget. Every scene is richly produced.
