Love Reddy Movie Review: A Heartwarming Tale of Love and Honor
Cast: Anjan Ramachandra, Shravani Reddy, N.T. Ramaswami, Ganesh D.S., Ravi Kalabrahma, Vani Gouda, and others. Written and Directed by: Smaran Reddy Music by: Prince Henry Cinematography by: Mohan Chari, Askar Ali Editor: Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao Producer: Hemalatha Reddy Release Date: October 18, 2024 Anjan Ramachandra and Shravani Reddy lead in Smaran Reddy’s 'Love Reddy', with N.T. Ramaswami, Ganesh D.S., Ravi Kalabrahma, and Vani Gouda in supporting roles. The film, produced by Mythri Movie Makers, garnered high expectations among the audience, especially after the recent trailer spiked interest. Let’s see how it fared with the audience as it released on October 18. The Story Narayana Reddy (Anjan Ramachandra), at 30, is still unmarried. Despite numerous matchmaking attempts by his family, he rejects every proposal, claiming none of the girls meet his expectations. One day, he falls in love with Divya (Shravani Reddy) at first sight on a bus. Transforming into 'Love Reddy', he sees her as his world. Divya befriends Narayana but rejects his love proposal. Even though she likes Love Reddy, why did Divya reject him? What twist does Divya's entry bring to Narayana Reddy’s life? Does their love story end happily? The film must be watched to find out. Performance Analysis All actors in 'Love Reddy' are relatively new. Anjan Ramachandra impresses as the lovelorn Narayana Reddy, especially given that this is his first film, captivating with his natural acting. Shravani Reddy justifies her role as Divya. N.T. Ramaswami, playing Divya's father, catches everyone’s attention, especially with the twist he introduces in the climax. Jyothi Madan, as the girl who likes the hero, and the actor playing the hero’s brother, among others, performed well within their roles. Direction Analysis Director Smaran Reddy has crafted a pure love story revolving around the critical issue of honor and prestige. Though the story is routine, it's presented with a natural flair of Andhra-Karnataka locality. Starting with a matchmaking scene, the director makes the narrative engaging once the protagonist becomes 'Love Reddy'. However, his efforts to express his love come off as somewhat clichéd. The curiosity of whether Divya will reciprocate Love Reddy's feelings keeps the first half engaging. The second half, dealing with the rejection of his love and the reasons behind it, connects well with today's youth. The last 20 minutes are emotionally driven, making the climax particularly impactful. Overall, Smaran Reddy has marked a good score as a director. Technical Aspects On the technical front, Prince Henry's music is a major strength to the film, bringing scenes to life with his distinctive background score. The songs are appealing. The cinematography is commendable, richly presenting each frame. The editing is adequate, and the production values are high. Plus Points - Acting - Emotions - Music Minus Points - Routine story - Dragged scenes in the first half Rating by Telugu.yousay.tv: 2.5/5

Viral Video: Woman Hits Actor at 'Love Reddy's' Blockbuster but Failure Meet!
Viral Video: Woman Hits Actor at 'Love Reddy's' Blockbuster but Failure Meet!
Starring Anjan Ramachandra and Shravani as the leads, the recent movie 'Love Reddy' arrived in theaters last week and received positive feedback. The chemistry between the leads and the climax particularly resonated with the audience. However, despite the positive reviews, the movie has been disappointing in terms of collections. In response, the movie team initiated a unique event titled 'Blockbuster but Failure Meet' to interact with audiences in theaters. During one of these visits, an unexpected incident occurred where a woman attacked a member of the acting team, and the video of this incident has gone viral. Why Did the Attack Happen? Despite the positive reception of 'Love Reddy,' the lack of box office collections led the movie team to undertake a unique initiative. They started visiting cinemas where the movie was playing to gather feedback directly from the audience. Recently, while the team was at GPR Mall in Nizampet, Hyderabad, an incident occurred. During the climax scene, where the heroine’s father (N.T. Ramaswamy) hits his daughter with a stone for not accepting the hero, a woman in the audience, overcome with emotion from the scene, attacks the actor playing the father role. This sudden outburst shocked everyone present. Efforts were made to calm the woman down, explaining that it was just a movie. https://telugu.yousay.tv/en/love-reddy-movie-review-a-heartwarming-tale-of-love-and-honor.html How is 'Love Reddy'? Directed by Smaran Reddy, 'Love Reddy' is a clean love story revolving around the theme of honor and dignity. Although it follows a routine storyline, it is presented naturally with an Andhra-Karnataka backdrop. The film starts with a matrimonial viewing scene and becomes more interesting as the hero transforms into 'Love Reddy.' However, his efforts to express his love seem quite routine. The curiosity of whether Divya will reciprocate Love Reddy’s feelings carries the first half. In the second half, the rejection of his love and the reasons stated connect well with today’s youth. The last 20 minutes are handled very emotionally by the director, culminating in a climax that weighs on the viewer's heart. Overall, Director Smaran Reddy has made a significant mark with this film. The Storyline Narayana Reddy (Anjan Ramachandra) is 30 and still unmarried. Despite numerous matches seen by his family, he rejects each one, claiming they do not appeal to him. One day on a bus, he sees Divya (Shravani Reddy) and falls in love at first sight, transforming her into his entire world. Divya befriends Narayana Reddy, but when he eventually gathers the courage to confess his love, she rejects his proposal. Why did Divya reject Love Reddy despite her feelings for him? How did Divya’s entry turn Narayana Reddy's life around? Does their love story have a happy ending? To find out, one must watch the movie. https://telugu.yousay.tv/en/love-reddy-movie-review-a-heartwarming-tale-of-love-and-honor.html

Ties and Tangles: The Marital Saga of the Akkineni Family
Ties and Tangles: The Marital Saga of the Akkineni Family
Tollywood actor Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and renowned actress Sobhita Dhulipala are soon to be united in marriage. Their engagement ceremony was recently held in the presence of family members, a grand affair announced personally by Akkineni Nagarjuna, which quickly went viral. However, Naga Chaitanya was previously married to star actress Samantha. Due to disagreements, they separated. With Naga Chaitanya's recent engagement, the topic of his divorce has resurfaced. There is also a discussion online suggesting that marriages do not seem to last in the Akkineni family, with netizens recalling that nearly four couples within the family have gone through divorces. Let's now look into the details of these instances. The Akkineni Family Even before the divorce between Naga Chaitanya and Samantha, four other couples in the family had already ended their marriages. The legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Annapurnamma had five children, among them, Akkineni Nagarjuna became a well-known actor. Their eldest son, Akkineni Venkat, produced several films. Their daughter, Satyavati's children, Sumanth and Supriya, are also well-recognized in the Telugu film industry. Another daughter, Nagasusheela's son Sushanth, is also making his mark as an actor. https://twitter.com/iam_strganesh/status/1821881385251991843 Nagarjuna’s Divorce Sumanth’s Divorce Sumanth, the nephew of Nagarjuna and son of Satyavati and Surendra Yarlagadda, was doing well in his career when he fell in love with actress Keerthi Reddy, famed for 'Tholi Prema'. They married in August 2004 but, for unknown reasons, divorced two years later. Keerthi Reddy settled in Bangalore, while Sumanth has remained single and is recently becoming busy with films again. Tragedy in Supriya’s Life Sumanth's sister, Supriya Yarlagadda, also faced a similar situation. She debuted as an actress in the movie 'Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi', starring Pawan Kalyan. Later, she distanced herself from acting and got more involved in film production. Eventually, she married an actor named Charan Reddy with the approval of her elders, but their marriage did not last long. Charan Reddy passed away due to health issues, and since then, she has been living alone. Cancellation of Akhil’s Marriage Before the marriage of Naga Chaitanya and Samantha, Akhil Akkineni was ready to tie the knot. His engagement also took place with Shriya Bhupal, a relative of Ram Charan’s wife Upasana. However, this did not lead to marriage. For some reasons, Akhil and Shriya's wedding was canceled. Following the cancellation, Shriya Bhupal married another man, while Akhil has been striving for success in the film industry. Naga Chaitanya and Samantha’s Divorce In 2017, Naga Chaitanya and Samantha got married in Goa, after a love that blossomed following their acquaintance during the making of the movie ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’ in 2010. After seven years of being in a relationship, they got married and were recognized as Tollywood’s cute couple. Unexpectedly, they divorced in 2021, shocking fans and the entire cinema world. At that time, Samantha was heavily criticized, with some blaming her bold roles in films post-marriage as the reason for their separation.

Nikhil's 'Appudo Ippudo Eppudo' Review: A London Love Story That Misses Its Mark
Nikhil's 'Appudo Ippudo Eppudo' Review: A London Love Story That Misses Its Mark
Cast: Nikhil, Divyansha Kaushik, Satya, Ajay, Sai Ram Reddy, Rukmini Vasanth, Harsha Chemudu, and others Writer, Director: Sudheer Varma Music: Karthik Cinematography: Richard Prasad Editing: Naveen Nooli Producer: B.V.S.N. Prasad Release Date: November 8, 2024 The latest film ‘Appudo Ippudo Eppudo’ features young hero Nikhil, directed by Sudheer Varma, known for films like ‘Swamy Ra Ra’ and ‘Keshava.’ Produced by B.V.S.N. Prasad and presented by B. Bapineedu, Rukmini Vasanth plays the lead actress, with Divyansha Kaushik in a key role. The film hit theaters on November 8. How does it fare? Does it captivate the Telugu audience? Has it brought success to Nikhil? Let’s find out in this review. Story Rishi (Nikhil), from Hyderabad, is a carefree young man with little interest in his career. He falls for Tara (Rukmini Vasanth) at first sight. However, due to certain dramatic events, their love ends in a breakup. After the heartbreak, Rishi shifts his focus to his career and moves to London. There, he trains as a racer while taking up odd jobs for pocket money. During this time, he becomes close to Tulasi (Divyansha Kaushik) and even decides to marry her. But Tulasi suddenly goes missing. Meanwhile, Tara, the girl he once loved, unexpectedly shows up in London, and Rishi finds himself entangled with a local don, Badrinarayana (John Vijay). Who is Badrinarayana? What happened to Tulasi? Why did Tara come to London? To find out, you’ll have to watch the movie. Performances Hero Nikhil captivates as usual with his steady performance, entertaining the audience with his looks and comic timing, though there are no particularly striking moments in his role. Rukmini Vasanth impresses with her natural acting, skillfully expressing emotions and proving herself as a talented actress once again. Divyansha Kaushik shines in her role as Tulasi, a character with negative shades, and receives good marks for her looks and glamour. Comedian Harsha Chemudu’s timing brings laughs, while John Vijay and Ajay’s roles are average. Satya and Sudarshan add momentum to the storyline. Direction Director Sudheer Varma opted for a routine story for ‘Appudo Ippudo Eppudo’ but managed to infuse his mark through storytelling and screenplay. Notably, he introduces the story from the perspective of a third person (comedian Satya), which adds interest. However, the two love tracks between the hero and heroines feel tedious. The introduction of the hero and his first love track make the first half feel slow, while the second half is somewhat better. The director struggles with key scenes, and the twists reveal poorly. Nevertheless, he manages to keep the film afloat to some extent with the comedy of Harsha Chemudu, Satya, and Sudarshan. The film lacks commercial appeal, and weak action sequences are additional drawbacks. Technically In terms of technical work, Richard Prasad’s cinematography is good, while Karthik’s songs are average. The background score is passable, editing is adequate, and the production values match the story well. Plus Points Nikhil’s performanceComedyCinematography Minus Points Weak storyTedious love tracksLack of commercial elements Telugu.yousay.tv Rating: 2/5

Thiragabadara Saami Movie Review: A Tale of Love and Valor
Thiragabadara Saami Movie Review: A Tale of Love and Valor
Cast: Raj Tarun, Malvi Malhotra, Mannara Chopra, Ankita Thakur, Makarand Deshpande, Pragathi, Raja Ravindra, John Vijay, Prithvi, Tagubothu Ramesh, and others Director: A.S. Ravi Kumar Music: JB Cinematography: Jawahar Reddy Producer: Malkapuram Shiva Kumar Release Date: August 2, 2024 Amid controversies, the new youth-centric film "Thiragabadara Saami," starring Raj Tarun and directed by A.S. Ravi Kumar, is released Today. Raj Tarun is joined by Malvi Malhotra and Mannara Chopra, who play the lead roles. Other significant characters are portrayed by Makarand Deshpande, Raja Raveendra, and Pragathi. The film, however, has been embroiled in scandal, with Raj Tarun's ex-girlfriend Lavanya accusing him of infidelity and being romantically involved with Malvi Malhotra. Released on August 2, amidst these controversies, "Thiragabadara Saami" has generated significant interest. How did the film fare, and was it able to engage the audience? Let's explore in this review. Plot Giri (Raj Tarun) is a very timid person who is afraid of everything and generally unresponsive to his surroundings. In contrast, Shailaja (Malvi Malhotra) is bold and aggressive. She doesn't hesitate to fiercely deal with anyone who teases her. A romance develops between these two with very different personalities. But how does Giri cope with controlling Shailaja? What challenges do their love face? Why did the usually calm Giri have to fight back? What did he do to win his love? You'll have to watch the movie to find out. Performances Hero Raj Tarun has fully immersed himself in the role of Giri. Initially portrayed as an innocent, he later transforms into a lover who fights for his beloved against all odds, showing great variation in two dimensions. Particularly in action sequences, Raj excels, showcasing an intensity never seen before in his career. Malvi Malhotra perfectly embodies Shailaja, making a strong impression in her Telugu film debut. The on-screen chemistry between Raj Tarun and Malvi Malhotra works very well. Second heroine Mannara Chopra also delivers an outstanding performance. John Vijay, Raghubabu, Ankita Thakur, Pragathi, and Raja Raveendra do their roles effectively. Direction Director A.S. Ravi Kumar has crafted this film as a love and action entertainer. The first half smoothly progresses with the introduction of the hero and heroine and their love track, entertaining with comedy arising from Shailaja dominating Giri. Their chemistry ensures that the first half never drags. A twist at the interval heightens interest for the second half, which is filled with hero elevations and action sequences, keeping the audience engaged. However, some scenes might feel boring, and certain fight scenes seem over-the-top for Raj Tarun's persona, lacking logical connection. Emotional scenes also did not resonate as well. Those looking for a solid action entertainer will enjoy "Thiragabadara Saami." Technically... On the technical front, the background music provided by JB is a significant asset, elevating the action sequences to another level. However, the songs are not particularly memorable. The cinematography is also commendable, and the editing is adequate. The production values are high. Plus Points - Raj Tarun's acting - Love track - Action sequences Minus Points - Non-effective emotional scenes - Some boring scenes Telugu.yousay.tv Rating: 3/5

Now, he returns with Mechanic Rocky, aiming to charm audiences once again. The film, co-starring Meenakshi Choudhary and Shraddha Srinath, was released grandly on November 22 under the direction of Raviteja Mullapudi. Alongside repairing vehicles, he also teaches driving. Maya (Shraddha Srinath) and Priya (Meenakshi Choudhary) join him to learn driving. The Performances Vishwak Sen delivers yet another settled performance, impressing audiences with his energetic portrayal. His punchlines bring humor and charm to his character. Meenakshi Choudhary and Shraddha Srinath shine in their significant roles, with their chemistry and expressions stealing the spotlight. Their on-screen competition in certain scenes enhances the narrative. Vishwak and Meenakshi's chemistry works well, and their romantic track is engaging. Supporting actors like Sunil, Naresh, and Harsha Vardhan also have impactful roles, with Harsha Chemudu’s comedy bringing occasional laughs. Direction Director Raviteja Mullapudi combines a love triangle with a crime thriller, aiming to connect with today’s audience. While the story has strong elements, excessive commercial touches and unnecessary comedy dilute the impact. The first half focuses on character introductions, love tracks, and songs, making it feel somewhat routine and stretched. However, the second half gains momentum, with unexpected twists and turns that elevate the film. The narrative effectively portrays how middle-class dreams can be exploited by others. Had the first half been more engaging, the film could have become a blockbuster. Technical Aspects From a technical standpoint, the film excels. Jakes Bejoy’s background score significantly enhances the storytelling. The cinematography is top-notch, capturing the essence of the film’s mood. Pottel Movie Review: 'Rangasthalam' Level Telugu Film? Sandeep Reddy Vanga's BOLD Comparison, Ananya's De-glam Avatar Shocks, But Second Half DISAPPOINTS!
Pottel Movie Review: 'Rangasthalam' Level Telugu Film? Sandeep Reddy Vanga's BOLD Comparison, Ananya's De-glam Avatar Shocks, But Second Half DISAPPOINTS!
Cast: Yuva Chandra Krishna, Ananya Nagalla, Ajay, Priyanka Sharma, Tanasvi Choudary, Noel Sean, Chatrapathi Shekhar, Srikanth Iyengar, Jeevan, Riyaz, Vikram, and others. Written and Directed by: Sahith Mothkuri Music by: Shekhar Chandra Cinematography by: Monish Bhupathi Raju Edited by: Karthika Srinivas Producers: Nishank Reddy Kudithi, Suresh Kumar Sadige Production Companies: Nisa Entertainments, Pragnya Sannidhi Creations Release Date: 25-10-2024 In the latest film Pottel, Ananya Nagalla and Yuva Chandra pair up in a film directed by Sahith Mothkuri, who made his directorial debut with the film Savari. Pottel has garnered unprecedented publicity for a small-scale cinema. Pan-India director Sandeep Reddy Vanga praised this film by comparing it with Ram Charan's 'Rangasthalam.' The screenwriter Trivikram also raised expectations by lauding the film. Released on Friday (October 25), did this film meet expectations? Did it bring success to Ananya? Let's see in this review. Plot The story unfolds in Gurramgadda village, located at the borders of Maharashtra and Telangana. The villagers conduct a festival for the village deity Balamma once in every cycle and offer sacrifices. It is believed that during this time, the deity possesses Patel (Ajay), the village head, who then prevents the villagers from progressing, particularly in education. On the other side, Pedda Gangadhari (Yuva Chandra) serves as the keeper of the sacrificial animals and secretly educates his daughter. When Patel finds out, he makes the sacrificial animal disappear. He threatens to sacrifice Gangadhari's daughter if the animal isn't found by the festival. What does Gangadhari do to save his daughter? Is he able to bring back the animal? What role does Bujjamma (Ananya Nagalla) play in this story? Performances Ajay, as Patel, delivers a powerhouse performance, surpassing even his impactful role in 'Vikramarkudu.' Newcomer Yuva Chandra excels as Gangadhari, a man desperate to educate his child and improve his village. Despite being his debut, he perfectly fits into his role. Telugu actress Ananya Nagalla gets a substantial role and shines as Bujjamma. Even in a deglamorized role, she delivers an exceptional performance. Singer Noel also got a significant role and did justice to it. Srikanth Iyengar and Chatrapathi Shekhar lived up to their roles, along with other supporting cast members who performed competently within their limits. Direction Director Sahith Mothkuri captures the essence of a rural 1980s setting right from the beginning, immersing the audience into that era within the first 20 minutes. He vividly portrays how the oppressed and weak were subdued during the Patel era, focusing on the prejudices rooted in caste and pride. The introduction of characters, the love story between the hero and heroine, and other scenes are well-handled in the first half. However, the second half seems a bit faltering. The director appears to rely too heavily on the villain's oppression to drive emotional engagement, resulting in scenes that sometimes lack logical continuity. Nevertheless, the director succeeds in connecting the audience with the film's underlying message. Technically On the technical front, the music and cinematography departments have performed well. The songs and background score positively impact the film. However, editing flaws are noticeable, particularly in the second half where scenes drag. The art department excels, recreating the atmosphere of the 1980s with their workmanship. Plus Points - Story - Lead performances - Music Minus Points - Lack of engaging narrative - Dragging scenes Rating by Telugu.yousay.tv: 3/5

Akanksha Singh, as his love interest, played her part well, captivating as a reserved young woman unable to express her inner feelings. The highlight of the series might be said to be the duo Charan Peri and Nayan Sarika, whose performances along with their scenes together are highly entertaining. Ritika fits perfectly into the role of Meenakshi, a young woman struggling to break free from an unsatisfying job to pursue her dreams of directing. Tulasi justly fulfills her role, while Rajendra Prasad once again charms with his comedic timing and emotional delivery. Tanikella Bharani, though in a brief role, makes a significant impact at a crucial moment in the story. Niharika Konidela, Sangith Shoban, and Venkat make memorable appearances in guest roles. How Was the Direction? Director Manasa Sharma has crafted the series in a way that connects well with the youth, particularly software employees, developing each character with a purposeful arc. The finale provided for the characters of Charan Peri and Nayan Sarika is particularly well-done. However, the endings given to Ritika Singh and Akanksha Singh's characters feel overly cinematic and lack naturalness. The comedy track between Rajendra Prasad and Vaibhav Reddy is a significant plus, as are the sentimental scenes involving Rajendra Prasad and Nayan Sarika. Overall, director Manasa Sharma has earned commendable marks, though the coarse language used by Vaibhav and the series’ appeal primarily to IT professionals could be seen as drawbacks. Technically... On the technical front, the cinematographer has done an excellent job presenting the software office environment effectively. The background music is also praiseworthy. Other departments like art work and production design have shown solid performance, reflecting high production values. Plus Points - Performances of the main cast - Directional skills - Comedy elements Minus Points - Occasionally bold dialogues - Appeal mainly limited to IT professionals Telugu.yousay.tv Rating : 3/5

'Tatva' on ETV Win: Suspense, Thrills, and Unexpected Twists in Ruthvik Yelagari's Latest
Cast: Hima Dasari, Pooja Reddy Bora, Osman Ghani, and others Director: Ruthvik Yelagari Music: Sai Teja Cinematographer: C.H. Sai Editor: Jai C. Sreekar Art Director: Aravind Mule Producer: Manasa Dasari OTT Platform: ETV Win Recently, OTT platforms have been home to many unique stories, with ETV Win bringing a different movie every week to entertain its audience. This week, the suspense thriller 'Tatva' was released directly on OTT. Featuring Hima Dasari and Pooja Reddy Bora as leads, directed by Ruthvik Yalagiri, this hour-long film has hit the screens, but did it win over the OTT audience? Let’s find out in this review. What’s the story? Arif (Hima Dasari) is a regular taxi driver who suddenly finds himself in need of money. In this quest, businessman Thomas (Osman Ghani) rides in Arif’s taxi. Realizing Thomas has the money he needs, Arif plans to get it by any means necessary. Unexpectedly, Thomas is murdered during their interaction, and Arif gets entangled in the case. Police officer Jyotsna (Pooja Reddy Bora) steps in to investigate. Who killed Thomas? How is Arif involved? What is the relationship between Thomas and Arif? Is Arif innocent? The answers unfold only through watching the movie. How did they perform? Although Hima Dasari is the main hero, it’s Osman Ghani who steals the show as Thomas. His portrayal adds depth to the character, making even a smile resonate with underlying intentions. Hima Dasari also captivates as Arif, bringing to life the struggles of a young man. Pooja Reddy landed a significant role, which seems straightforward at first but takes a surprising turn at the climax, pivotal in twisting the story. The film primarily revolves around these three characters, with other actors performing well within their roles. How’s the direction? Having worked as an assistant director for movies like 'Run Raja Run' and 'Saaho,' Ruthvik brings a unique style to this thrilling cinema. The film, which explains the fading humanity within individuals, starts grippingly, especially the first 20 minutes. Ruthvik aims to deliver his points without confusion, wrapping up the film in just 58 minutes, a definite plus. However, some scenes stray from logic and feel incomplete, which could have been refined for better impact. Those expecting commercial elements like songs, fights, romance, or love tracks might find it less appealing. Overall, Ruthvik’s directorial effort is commendable. Technically speaking, The cinematography is notable, especially considering most of the film takes place at night, delivering good visuals even in low light. The background music also strengthens the film's atmosphere. Editing is decent, and production values are high. Technically, 'Tatva' scores well. Plus points: - Characters of Arif and Thomas - Camera work - Background music Minus points: - Lack of commercial elements - Some incomplete climax scenes Telugu.yousay.tv Rating: 2.5/5

Maa Nanna Superhero Review: A Touching Father-Son Story – Is This Sudheer Babu's Comeback?
Cast: Sudheer Babu, Sayaji Shinde, Harshith Reddy, Aamani, Raj Sundaram, Shashank, Sai Chand, Arna, Chandra Vempati, and othersDirector: Abhilash KankarMusic: Jai KrishnaCinematography: Sameer KalyaniEditing: Anil Kumar. PProducer: Sunil BalusuRelease Date: October 11, 2024 'Maa Nanna Super Hero' is a film starring Sudheer Babu in the lead role, directed by Abhilash Reddy Kankar. Arna plays the female lead, and Sayaji Shinde and Sai Chand appear in key roles. The movie, released on October 11 as a Dasara gift, had premiered a day before. So, how is this movie? Did the father-son sentiment strike a chord with the audience? Did it bring success to Sudheer Babu, who has been struggling with a series of flops? Let's find out in this review. Plot Prakash (Sai Chand) is a truck driver whose wife dies after giving birth to their child. Unable to take care of the newborn, Prakash leaves the child in an orphanage and goes away for work. Unexpectedly, he gets arrested and ends up spending 20 years in jail. On the other hand, a stockbroker named Srinivas (Sayaji Shinde) adopts the child, Johnny (Sudheer Babu). Since Johnny’s arrival, Srinivas's life has turned upside down, leading to financial troubles. He blames Johnny for his misfortune and harbors resentment towards him, while Johnny still loves Srinivas deeply and tries to pay off his debts while taking care of him. Meanwhile, Srinivas ends up owing a powerful politician one crore rupees. At the same time, Johnny meets his biological father, Prakash. What happens next? How does Johnny work to pay off Srinivas's debt? Does Srinivas finally understand Johnny’s love? To find out, you need to watch the movie. Performance Analysis In 'Maa Nanna Superhero,' Sudheer Babu presents a different side compared to his previous films. Known for showcasing his physique in action movies, this time, he impresses with his mature acting, bringing out the emotions perfectly and striving for recognition as a complete actor. Sayaji Shinde gives a good performance as the foster father, though his character lacks depth. Sai Chand, as the biological father, lives the role with his trademark acting. Most of the important scenes revolve around these three characters. Arna, as the heroine, doesn’t have much importance in the story but manages to make an impression with her glamour in some scenes. The rest of the cast has done a decent job within their scope. Direction For those who have watched Tamil and Malayalam films and wondered why such feel-good movies aren't made in Telugu, this film will bring joy. Director Abhilash Kankar chose an emotionally touching story. The plot revolves around the emotional journey of a father separated from his child at a young age and the complexities of a foster father-son relationship. However, the director took considerable time to establish Johnny's love for his father. Only after the emotional buildup does the real story begin. The first half focuses on Sudheer Babu and Sayaji Shinde's relationship, while Sai Chand's character comes into play in the second half, making it more emotional. The last 20 minutes are particularly heart-wrenching for the audience. The slow pace of the narration and lack of commercial elements are the negatives. Technical Aspects In terms of technical aspects, Jai Krishna's background score is a big plus for the film. The cinematography is also impressive. However, the editing could have been better. Trimming some lagging scenes would have improved the film. Plus Points StorySudheer Babu's performanceBackground score Minus Points Slow narrationLack of commercial elements Telugu.yousay.tv Rating: 3/5

Director: Sam Antone Music: Hip-hop Tamizha Cinematography: Krishnan Vasant Editor: Ruben Producer: K.E. Gnanavel Raja Release Date: August 2, 2024 After a considerable hiatus, Mega Hero Allu Sirish makes his comeback with the film 'Buddy', starring alongside heroines Gayatri Bharadwaj and Prisha Singh. Directed by Sam Antone and produced by K.E. Gnanavel Raja under the Studio Green Films banner, this action-adventure film was released on August 2.  What's the Story? Aditya Ram (Allu Sirish), a pilot, falls in love with Pallavi (Gayatri Bharadwaj), who works as an air traffic controller in Visakhapatnam, without ever meeting her. Just as they plan to meet, unexpected events unfold. Pallavi gets caught in a medical mafia trap and is kidnapped, falling into a coma. Her spirit enters a teddy bear that Aditya once gifted her. How does her spirit, through the teddy, reunite with Aditya? How does Aditya, with the help of the teddy, retrieve her body from the villains? What did the villain gang plan to do with Pallavi's body? This is the story. How Did They Perform? Allu Sirish delivers a remarkable performance as Aditya. He excels in the action sequences, showing great maturity as an actor in this film. Gayatri Bharadwaj captivates with her glamour, charming the audience every moment she's on screen. Ajmal Amir, as the villain, matches well against Sirish, impressing with his acting. Second heroine Prisha Singh delights as an air hostess. The other actors also performed commendably within their roles. How's the Direction? Director Sam Antone made an effort to craft a unique story with this film. The love track between Allu Sirish and Gayatri Bharadwaj is beautifully executed. The scenes that show their connection despite being physically apart are particularly entertaining for the youth. The film keeps the audience engaged with 'Kalki' and 'Jai Balayya slogans' that add energy. The action sequences involving Buddy and Allu Sirish are enjoyable. However, the director failed to maintain suspense about what happens next, with the scenes being predictable. Some irrelevant comedy scenes caused viewer fatigue. An attempt to inject humor into the crucial climax was unnecessary. Technically... Technically speaking, Hip-hop Tamizha's background music is a strong addition, enhancing the action scenes, although the songs themselves are not very memorable. Krishnan Vasant's cinematographer is commendable. Editor Ruben could have sharpened his cuts a bit more. Better output from the graphics department would have added value to the film. Production values are satisfactory. Plus Points - Allu Sirish's acting - The love track - Action sequences with Buddy Minus Points - Screenplay - Lack of suspense - Some boring scenes Telugu.yousay.tv Rating: 2.5/5

Varun Tej’s 'Matka' Movie Review: The Rise of a Gambler Turned Gangster
Varun Tej’s 'Matka' Movie Review: The Rise of a Gambler Turned Gangster
Cast: Varun Tej, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Nora Fatehi, Naveen Chandra, Kishore Kumar, Ajay Ghosh, Ravindra Vijay, Mime Gopi, Rupalakshmi, and others. Writer and Director: Karuna Kumar Music: G. V. Prakash Cinematography: Kishore Kumar Editing: Karthikeya Srinivas Producers: Rajani Talluri, Vijender Reddy Teegal Release Date: November 14, 2024 The latest action entertainer starring mega hero Varun Tej, 'Matka,' directed by Karuna Kumar and featuring Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female lead, has been produced jointly by Vijender Reddy Teegal and Rajani Talluri. The film team has vigorously promoted it as a significant career booster for Varun. The recently released trailers, teasers, and promotional materials have heightened expectations. Has the film, released on November 14, lived up to expectations? Has it delivered success to Varun, who has been struggling with flops? Let's find out in this review. Plot The movie 'Matka' is a gangster story spanning from 1958 to 1982. Based on the life of a gangster named Ratan Khatri who migrated from Pakistan to Mumbai, this film unfolds. Regarding the story of 'Matka'... Vasu (Varun Tej) comes from Burma to Visakhapatnam in search of livelihood. He works as a laborer and faces numerous hardships. Vasu has a goal to achieve something significant in life. In this pursuit, he steps into the world of Matka gambling, which unexpectedly turns his career around. Excelling in Matka, he rises to a level that no one else can reach. He ascends to the level of controlling the system as a gangster. How did an ordinary young man become Matka Vasu? What challenges did he face in this journey? Who is Sujata? What is her love story with Vasu? You'll need to watch the movie to find out. Performance It can be said that Varun Tej (Matka Movie Review) has excelled as Vasu. With 'Matka,' he has stepped up his acting game. He has meticulously crafted his look, hairstyle, and walk to do justice to his role. He impressed with variations in his character appropriate to his age. Meenakshi Chaudhary got a significant role, and her chemistry with Varun worked well. Bollywood beauty Nora Fatehi, in the role of Sophia, created magic. With her charm, she captivated the audience. Saloni from 'Maryada Ramanna' fame, along with Naveen Chandra and Satyam Rajesh, appeared in key roles. The rest of the cast performed well within their scope. Direction Based on the life story of gangster Ratan Khatri (Matka Movie Review), director Karan Kumar crafted this film. He captivated with his excellent direction set in the 1970s and 1980s. The director succeeded in presenting his envisioned story accurately. Particularly, choosing Varun Tej for Vasu's role and extracting an outstanding performance from him is a complete success for the director. He excellently presented how an ordinary young man, Vasu, became a significant figure by exploiting Matka gambling to control the country. However, the director faltered a bit with the screenplay. Occasional drag in scenes and a lack of strong background for characters other than Varun are negatives. Technically... On the technical front (Matka Movie Review), the cinematography was a significant plus. Cinematographer Kishore Kumar took the audience back to the 1970s with his expertise. The art department also worked hard to deliver an authentic periodic experience. Music director G. V. Prakash's songs were not particularly memorable, but the background music was good, enhancing the action sequences. The editing was okay, and the production values were high. Plus Points - Varun Tej's acting - Action sequences - Cinematography Minus Points - Screenplay - Dragging scenes - Songs Rating by Telugu.yousay.tv: 2.5/5

Meanwhile, girls in the village start disappearing. Who is behind this mystery, and how does Abhinay Vasudev confront this challenge? That forms the rest of the story. What's the Film Like? The film introduces a fresh concept. The narration, thrilling moments, and climax are well-executed. Strong characters and their engaging presentation capture the audience's attention, especially during the interval and climax scenes. The twists add freshness to the narrative. Kiran Abbavaram excels in the dual variations of his role as Abhinay. Nayan Sarika, as the heroine, delivers a commendable performance that captivates the audience. Balagam Jayaram is impressive, and other principal cast members have justified their roles effectively. How's the Direction? Directors Sandeep and Sujit have somewhat succeeded in capturing the essence of the suspense thriller genre. While there is room for improvement in the screenplay, key scenes have been compellingly shot. Although the concept is interesting, some parts of the screenplay feel slow. The main conflict point could have been clearer, and some unnecessary scenes seem to weaken the suspense. These issues somewhat detracted from the film's overall impact. Technical Aspects The film excels technically. The cinematography by Satish Reddy Masam and Daniel Vishwas breathes life into crucial scenes. Sam CS's music adds strength to the film, and the editing is sharp. Chinta Gopalakrishna Reddy's production values are commendable. Final Thoughts Overall, 'KA' engages audiences with its suspense and thriller elements, underpinned by a strong story. The concept and some thrilling elements significantly elevate the film. Fans of suspense thrillers will likely enjoy this movie. Rating: 3.5/5

The Boy Who Wore 'Johnny' Headband for 7 Days Now Directs His Icon Pawan Kalyan: Sujeeth's Story
Young director Sujeeth (HBD Sujeeth) has carved a unique niche for himself in Tollywood. Although he has directed only two films so far, he has garnered a craze that many directors achieve only after many more films. Starting with 'Run Raja Run' as a director, Sujeeth caught everyone's attention at the pan-India level with 'Saaho'. Currently, he is directing 'OG' with Pawan Kalyan, capturing the mega fans' focus. Today, this talented director steps into his 34th year. Let's take a look at some secrets of his career. Making Short Films at 17 Sujeeth Reddy was born in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, on October 26, 1990. Initially dreaming of becoming a Chartered Accountant, his growing interest in films led him to enroll in the L.V. Prasad Film & TV Academy. He started making short films on YouTube at the age of 17 and has directed over 30 short films to date. Creativity in Short Films Typically, YouTube short films are made on a low budget and are not expected to meet high standards. However, Sujeeth's films like 'Run Raja Run', 'Prema Ishq Kaadhal', 'Thokkalo Love Story', 'Vesham', 'Yuddham', 'Prema Care of Drama', and 'Indian Idol' surprised the film industry with their richness and showcased his mesmerizing creativity. However, seeing his dedication to cinema, they eventually supported his decision. His mother even bought him his first camera with her own money, marking the beginning of his journey in the industry. Guidance from Puri Jagannadh Upon entering the industry with the aim to direct, Sujeeth initially decided to work as an assistant director under Puri Jagannadh. Meeting him, Puri recognized Sujeeth's abundant directorial skills and encouraged him to pursue directing. Director at 23 While trying for a directorial break, UV Creations recognized Sujeeth's talent and offered him a chance to direct 'Run Raja Run'. Thus, at just 23, Sujeeth became a director and achieved solid success with his debut film. Turning a Short Film into a Feature Interestingly, 'Run Raja Run', which brought him significant recognition, was originally a short film that Sujeeth transformed into his first full-length feature by making a few changes to the story. Before 'Baahubali' UV Creations, which produced Prabhas's 'Mirchi', planned a second film with him and accepted a story from Sujeeth, which Prabhas liked. However, 'Baahubali' has not been released yet. After 'Baahubali', Prabhas's fame skyrocketed, leading Sujeeth to make adjustments to the story, and thus 'Saaho' was made on a pan-India scale. Despite not achieving expected success, Sujeeth's work at such a young age surprised everyone.
