Aham Reboot OTT Review: Sumanth's Solo Act—Did the Experiment Work?
Aham Reboot OTT Review: Sumanth's Solo Act—Did the Experiment Work?
Cast: Sumanth Writer and Director: Prashanth Sagar Atluri Music: Sriram Madduri Cinematography: Varun Ankarla Editing: Murali Krishna Manyam Visual Effects: Shashwat Kaurav Producers: Raghuveer, Srujan OTT Platform: Aha The film 'Aham Reboot,' directed by Prashanth Sagar Atluri and starring Sumanth , was initially completed some time ago and was intended for a theatrical release. However, due to certain reasons, it was quietly released on the OTT platform Aha on June 30. This psychological thriller has made its way to streaming. Did it manage to impress OTT viewers? Did it provide another success for Sumanth? Let’s find out in this review. What’s the Story? Nilay (Sumanth), who dreamt of being a football player, turns into a radio jockey following an accident. One day while in the studio, he receives a call from a girl claiming she has been kidnapped. Initially dismissing it as a prank, Nilay is eventually convinced by her words and decides to go live. The police, listening to the radio, start believing that the girl has indeed been kidnapped and begin efforts to save her. They assign the task of gathering information about the kidnapped girl to Nilay, who is in the studio. Who is this girl? Was she really kidnapped? How do the police save her? Who is the girl Nilay lost in an accident? Is there any connection between her and the kidnapped girl? You'll have to watch the movie to find out. How Did They Perform? In the movie 'Aham Reboot,' Sumanth is a one-man show. He is the only character visible throughout the movie; all other characters are just heard. Sumanth captivates with his performance, embodying a modern young man carrying an unspoken sorrow and striving to save a girl's life as a radio jockey. He effectively conveys emotions and carries the story on his shoulders. Visually, Sumanth presents a new look in this movie. How’s the Direction? Directing a movie with just one character is akin to walking a tightrope, especially when the entire story unfolds in a single location. In this challenging endeavor, director Prashanth Sagar Atluri has managed to achieve a notable level of success. The narrative begins with a phone call from a girl claiming she has been kidnapped. The director skillfully guides the plot from gathering her details to forwarding them to the police, who then initiate a rescue operation. This approach keeps the narrative tight and engaging. A twist at the end that links Nilay's life to the kidnapped girl adds an intriguing element. However, the film's reliance on only Sumanth's character and dialogue to drive the story might seem monotonous to some viewers. For those with the patience, 'Aham Reboot' offers a compelling thriller experience. Technically... On the technical front, the background music is a significant plus for the movie. Sriram Madduri’s BGM elevates the thrilling scenes further. With just one character, the editing needed to be crisp, which worked out well. The production values are commendable. Plus Points - Sumanth’s acting - Innovative storytelling - Background music Minus Point - The entire movie revolves around just one visible character Telugu.yousay.tv Rating: 3/5

'Tatva' on ETV Win: Suspense, Thrills, and Unexpected Twists in Ruthvik Yelagari's Latest
Cast: Hima Dasari, Pooja Reddy Bora, Osman Ghani, and others Director: Ruthvik Yelagari Music: Sai Teja Cinematographer: C.H. Sai Editor: Jai C. Sreekar Art Director: Aravind Mule Producer: Manasa Dasari OTT Platform: ETV Win Recently, OTT platforms have been home to many unique stories, with ETV Win bringing a different movie every week to entertain its audience. This week, the suspense thriller 'Tatva' was released directly on OTT. Featuring Hima Dasari and Pooja Reddy Bora as leads, directed by Ruthvik Yalagiri, this hour-long film has hit the screens, but did it win over the OTT audience? Let’s find out in this review. What’s the story? Arif (Hima Dasari) is a regular taxi driver who suddenly finds himself in need of money. In this quest, businessman Thomas (Osman Ghani) rides in Arif’s taxi. Realizing Thomas has the money he needs, Arif plans to get it by any means necessary. Unexpectedly, Thomas is murdered during their interaction, and Arif gets entangled in the case. Police officer Jyotsna (Pooja Reddy Bora) steps in to investigate. Who killed Thomas? How is Arif involved? What is the relationship between Thomas and Arif? Is Arif innocent? The answers unfold only through watching the movie. How did they perform? Although Hima Dasari is the main hero, it’s Osman Ghani who steals the show as Thomas. His portrayal adds depth to the character, making even a smile resonate with underlying intentions. Hima Dasari also captivates as Arif, bringing to life the struggles of a young man. Pooja Reddy landed a significant role, which seems straightforward at first but takes a surprising turn at the climax, pivotal in twisting the story. The film primarily revolves around these three characters, with other actors performing well within their roles. How’s the direction? Having worked as an assistant director for movies like 'Run Raja Run' and 'Saaho,' Ruthvik brings a unique style to this thrilling cinema. The film, which explains the fading humanity within individuals, starts grippingly, especially the first 20 minutes. Ruthvik aims to deliver his points without confusion, wrapping up the film in just 58 minutes, a definite plus. However, some scenes stray from logic and feel incomplete, which could have been refined for better impact. Those expecting commercial elements like songs, fights, romance, or love tracks might find it less appealing. Overall, Ruthvik’s directorial effort is commendable. Technically speaking, The cinematography is notable, especially considering most of the film takes place at night, delivering good visuals even in low light. The background music also strengthens the film's atmosphere. Editing is decent, and production values are high. Technically, 'Tatva' scores well. Plus points: - Characters of Arif and Thomas - Camera work - Background music Minus points: - Lack of commercial elements - Some incomplete climax scenes Telugu.yousay.tv Rating: 2.5/5

The film starts intriguingly, showing why Satyam left his village. His return for a wedding, the introduction of Karthi’s character, his mischief, and the troubles Satyam faces with Karthi unknowingly, are all portrayed entertainingly. The director shifts the setting to Karthi’s home, where Satyam’s experiences are heartfelt and take the audience back in time. The mental turmoil Satyam goes through upon not recognizing Karthi adds weight to the narrative. The climax is also well-executed. The film, like a beautiful novel, successfully comes to life on screen, directed flawlessly by Kumar. The slow pace of the story and lack of commercial elements could be seen as drawbacks. Technically On the technical front, the background music adds an additional layer of allure to the story, with a continual melody that enhances the emotional depth of the narrative. The visuals are captivating, and the production values are high. Plus Points - Story and emotions - Performances by Karthi and Aravind Swamy - Music Minus Points - Slow-paced narrative - Lack of commercial elements Telugu.yousay.tv Rating: 3/5

Gorre Puranam Review: A Quirky Tale Where the Goat Steals the Show!
Gorre Puranam Review: A Quirky Tale Where the Goat Steals the Show!
Cast: Suhas, Vishika Kot, Posani Krishna Murali, Raghu Karumanchi, and others Director: Bobby Varma Music: Pavan CH Cinematographer: Suresh Sarangam Editor: Vamsi Krishna Ravi Producer: Prashanth Mandava Release Date: 21-09-2024 Tollywood's young actor Suhas has become synonymous with diverse films. Continuing his trend of intriguing Telugu audiences with unique storylines, Suhas stars in another innovative film, 'Gorre Puranam' directed by Bobby Varma. Notably, director Tharun Bhascker provides the voiceover for the goat. Released on September 21, how does this film fare? Did it captivate the audience or not? Let's find out in this review. What's the Story? Ravi (Suhas) ends up in jail for committing a murder. Meanwhile, a Muslim man buys a goat to make biryani for his family, but it escapes. In an attempt to catch the goat, the Muslim man and several others chase after it. The goat takes refuge in a village temple where it accidentally gets drunk and is captured by Hindus who want to sacrifice it. This incident catches the media's eye, escalating religious tensions, leading to the police arresting the goat. It is kept in the same cell as Ravi. Why did Ravi commit murder? What is the connection between Ravi’s crime and the goat? Who tried to kill the goat in jail? To find out, one must watch the movie. How Did They Perform? Suhas's role is brief in the film, but he captivates with his natural acting prowess. The goat appears on screen longer than the human actors, with Tharun Bhascker’s voiceover adding a comedic touch. Comedian Getup Sreenu also provides a voice for the goat. Other actors like comedian Raghu and Jenny, though in brief roles, significantly impact the story. How's the Direction? Director Bobby Varma’s effort to cast a goat as a principal character is commendable. He cleverly narrates where the goat’s story began, what it desires, and its purpose, while infusing the film with sharp satire targeting people, politicians, and the media. While entertaining, the director also makes the audience think. The development of Suhas’s character is well executed. However, the director falters in connecting why he committed murder and planned further killings. The lack of commercial elements and ineffective emotional scenes are drawbacks of the film. Technically Speaking Technically, the cinematography is a significant plus. The background score suits the film well, and the editing is adequate. The production values are high, showing no compromise in spending. Plus Points - Suhas’s acting - Story and narration - Dialogues Minus Points - Lack of commercial elements - Ineffective emotional scenes Telugu.yousay.tv Rating: 2.5/5

Thangalaan Review: Another Milestone in Vikram's Career
Thangalaan Review: Another Milestone in Vikram's Career
Cast: Vikram, Malavika Mohanan, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Pasupathy, Daniel Caltagirone, and others. Director: Pa. Ranjith Music: GV Prakash Kumar Editing: Selva R.K. Cinematography: A. Kishore Kumar Producers: K.E. Gnanavel Raja, Pa. Ranjith, Jyoti Desh Pandey Release Date: 15-08-2024 Having portrayed distinctive characters in films like 'Aparichitudu' and 'I', actor Vikram, who is also popular in Telugu cinema, has returned with another exciting movie, 'Thangalaan'. In this film, Vikram appears as a tribal man, and his transformation for the role has significantly heightened expectations among the audience. The trailer and teaser for the movie have doubled these expectations. Released worldwide on August 15, how did 'Thangalaan' fare? Has Vikram mesmerized once again with his performance? What was the cinematic experience like for the audience? Let’s explore in this review. What's the Story? Set during British rule in the 1850s, the story unfolds in a village called Veppur. Thangalaan (Vikram), living with his family, finds himself compelled to join a gold hunt with an Englishman named Clement due to unforeseen circumstances. This journey brings them face to face with bizarre experiences. Thangalaan is haunted by dreams where Aarathi (Malavika Mohanan), a tribal sorceress, uses her supernatural powers to protect the gold. But does she really safeguard the gold? What challenges do Thangalaan and his team face from her? What does Thangalaan learn on this journey? Did he ultimately discover the gold or not? That is the story. How Did They Perform? Vikram, as Thangalaan, was outstanding and made the character unforgettable. His portrayal as a tribal person, with the mannerisms and expressions, captivates everyone. This can be marked as another milestone in Vikram's career. Parvathy Thiruvothu, playing Thangalaan’s wife, was adequate in her role. Malavika Mohanan as Aarathi, the tribal leader, delivered the best performance of her career. Her looks and acting scared the audience and stood next to Vikram in terms of impact. Their action scenes together are particularly thrilling. Other actors performed well within their roles. How's the Direction? The film 'Thangalaan', primarily revolving around a gold hunt, is subtly portrayed by director Pa. Ranjith was a struggle of an oppressed class during the British era, highlighting racial discrimination. The world and characters created by the director transport the audience to a new realm. The people's attire and societal depiction are immersive. The journey of Thangalaan with the British in search of gold, and the challenges they face en route, build suspense. The scenes before the interval raise expectations for the second half, which, however, feels a bit detached as the story progresses. The pre-climax fight between the British, Thangalaan, and the tribal community leads to confusion, blurring the line between Thangalaan's dreams and reality. Yet, the director delivers a satisfying conclusion in the climax by revealing another dimension of Thangalaan's character. Technically Speaking Technically, the film is robust in many aspects. The costumes, makeup, and art departments have outdone themselves for this movie. The music by GV Prakash Kumar also complements the narrative well. The production values are high. Plus Points: - Story and narration - Performances by Vikram and Malavika - Fantasy elements Minus Points: - Pacing in the second half - Slow narration Telugu.YouSay.tv Rating: 3/5

Aay Movie Review: Another small scale hit comedy
Aay Movie Review: Another small scale hit comedy
Cast: Narne Nithiin, Nayan Sarika, Kasireddy Raj Kumar, Ankith Koya, and others Director: Anji K Maniputra Music Directors: Ram Miriyala, Ajay Arasada Cinematography: Sameer Kalyani Producers: Bunny Vas, Vidya Koppineedi NTR's brother-in-law, Narne Nithiin, stars in his second film, 'Aay'. After achieving a solid hit with the film 'Mad', this young hero is set to impress the audience this week with 'Aay', directed by Anji K. Maniputra and featuring Nayan Sarika as the heroine. The movie was released on August 15th. How is the film? Did it impress the audience? Let’s find out in this review. What's the Story? Karthik (Narne Nithiin) from Amalapuram joins a software job in Hyderabad. Due to the COVID-19 lockdown, he returns to his village. While working from home, he spends enjoyable times with his childhood friends, Hari and Subbu. During this period, he falls in love with Pallavi (Nayan Sarika) from a neighboring village. Pallavi, who is very active on social media and cares deeply about caste, initially likes Karthik believing he is from the same caste. When she discovers he is from a different caste, she distances herself and agrees to an arranged marriage. Karthik finds it hard to cope with this. Meanwhile, his friends Hari and Subbu try various ways to reunite them. Did their efforts succeed? Did Karthik and Pallavi get married? To find out, one must watch the movie. How Did They Perform? Narne Nithiin in the role of Karthik was captivating. This role, compared to his first film, offered more scope for acting, and his maturity is evident in his expressions and dialogue delivery. He was also impressed with his dance skills. Nayan Sarika, as Pallavi, charmed with her beauty and performance, perfectly portraying a girl from the Godavari region. The comedy delivered by Raj Kumar Kasireddy and Ankith Koya in their roles as friends highlighted the film, particularly Kasireddy’s performance, which is memorable. Mime Gopi and Vinod Kumar performed well within the limits of their roles. How's the Direction? Though director Anji chose a familiar story, the way he presented it is appealing. The backdrop of Amalapuram, the innocence and warmth in the people, and the bonds of childhood friends all these elements are well-blended into the narrative. The film picks up pace when the three friends reunite, and from the moment Karthik falls in love, the movie becomes more entertaining. The efforts and troubles his friends undergo to help with his love life bring laughs. The director managed to introduce a twist in the straightforward storyline to make the second half more interesting. He also delivered a good message by involving the elders of both families in the second half. The twist in the climax is surprising. However, the routine story, a love track dominated by comedy, and some illogical scenes are drawbacks of the movie. Technically Speaking Technically, the cinematography by Sameer Kalyani is a significant plus for the movie. His camera work showcasing the surroundings of Amalapuram and the rural setting is impressive. Regarding music, the songs breathe life into the film, with Ram Miriyala’s Sufi song being particularly enchanting. The production values are high, with the producers not compromising on the budget. Plus Points: - Performances - Comedy - Climax Minus Points: - Routine story - Predictable narrative Telugu.YouSay.tv Rating: 3/5

Simbaa Movie Review: Supernatural Thrills Meet Crime Drama in 'Simbaa'
Simbaa Movie Review: Supernatural Thrills Meet Crime Drama in 'Simbaa'
Cast: Jagapathi Babu, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Vashistha N. Simha, Divi Vadthya, Kabir Duhan Singh, Sreenath Maganti Director: Murali Manohar Music: Krishna Saurabh Producers: Sampath Nandi, D. Rajendra Reddy Release Date: 09-08-2024 The film 'Simbaa,' directed by Murali Manohar and featuring Jagapathi Babu and Anasuya Bharadwaj in key roles, falls under the supernatural crime thriller genre. This cinema has been co-produced by prominent directors Sampath Nandi and Dasari Rajendra Reddy and was released to audiences on August 9. Let's evaluate the film's impact and its reception among the viewers in this review. Plot In Hyderabad, a key figure from the Partha Group is murdered. During the investigation of this case, another individual from the same group is also killed. The police conclude that a school teacher, Akshika (Anasuya), and an investigative journalist, Fazil (Sreenath Maganti), are involved. They are arrested, but amidst their custody, another murder occurs in full view of everyone. A prominent doctor's involvement complicates the case further. What is the motive behind these murders? Why are individuals associated with Partha (Kabir Singh) being targeted? What is the connection of the Forest Man, Purushottam Reddy (Jagapathi Babu), to these murders? What conflicts exist between him and Partha? The film must be watched to uncover these answers. Performances Jagapathi Babu, in the role of Purushottam Reddy, captures the audience with his commanding presence and excels in action sequences. Anasuya delivers a compelling performance as teacher Akshika, embodying her character flawlessly. Divi, Sreenath Maganti, and Vashistha Simha also engage well in their roles, with Vashistha Simha's portrayal as the investigative officer being particularly notable. Senior actors Gautami and Kasturi add charm in secondary roles. Kabir, portraying the antagonist, was adequate. The rest of the cast performed well within their roles. Direction Director Murali Manohar has attempted to blend environmental themes into a crime and investigative story. The introduction of Anasuya’s character, the love track between Divi and Sreenath Maganti, and the dual murder events are well-handled in the first half. However, the police investigation scenes feel routine and lack logical progression. In the second half, Jagapathi Babu’s entrance as the Forest Man, emphasizing tree conservation and love for nature, brings thought-provoking scenes. Nonetheless, the lack of impactful dialogue means the director’s message doesn’t resonate strongly with the audience. The concept of 'biological memory' is intriguing in the film. A better presentation of the Forest Man episode could have enhanced the impact. Overall, although the movie's concept is interesting, the director fails to effectively convey it to the audience. Technically On the technical front, Krishna Saurabh’s background music is a highlight, elevating several scenes effectively. Krishnaprasad’s cinematography is commendable, and the editing is adequate. The production values are high. Plus Points - Performances by Jagapathi Babu and Anasuya - The environmental message - The secondary meanings Minus Points - Lack of engaging narrative - Dragged scenes Telugu.yousay.tv Rating: 2.5/5

Prasad Producer: Maheshwara Reddy Release Date: August 01, 2024 The latest film starring Ashwin Babu, who is the brother of well-known anchor and director Ohmkar, is titled 'Shivam Bhaje.' Digangana Suryavanshi plays the lead female role. Directed by Abdul Apsar Hussain, the movie also features notable actors such as Hyper Aadi, Arbaaz Khan, Murali Sharma, Tanikella Bharani, and Brahmaji in significant roles. The promotional materials, trailer, and teaser have significantly raised expectations for this film, which was released on August 1. Let's explore how the film fared and whether it succeeded in captivating the audience. Plot Chandu (Ashwin Babu) works as a loan recovery agent. During his job, he falls in love with Shailaja (Digangana Suryavanshi), who works in a chemical lab. Due to an incident, Chandu loses his sight. Following a dramatic event blessed by Lord Shiva, an operation restores his vision. However, after regaining his sight, Chandu begins to see various visuals. Whose eyes did Chandu receive? What are these visuals he sees? Why does a mere recovery agent end up fighting with enemy nations? What deed did Chandu perform with the grace of Lord Shiva? What role does Dogra (a dog) play in the story? To find out, one must watch the movie. Performances Ashwin Babu delivers a remarkable performance in the role of Chandu, showcasing great versatility across two dimensions. Digangana Suryavanshi captivates the audience as Shailaja. The chemistry between Ashwin and Digangana is effectively established. Bollywood actor Arbaaz Khan impresses in his role as a police officer, and comedian Hyper Aadi elicits laughter with his impeccable timing. Seasoned actors Brahmanandam and Murali Sharma mesmerize with their performances, while other actors adequately fulfill their roles. Direction Director Abdul Apsar Hussain commendable intertwines mystery and devotional elements. Some suspense scenes in this crime drama are quite engaging. The storyline woven around international espionage also pleases, though the screenplay falters at times. The narrative could have been presented more effectively on screen. The subplot involving murders seems rather weak. Chandu's character could have been made more powerful. Some scenes lack logical coherence. The slow pace of the story and a lack of engaging elements in the first half are drawbacks. Unrelated scenes test the audience's patience. Technically On the technical front, Dasarathi Shivendra’s cinematography is impressive. He beautifully presents key scenes, especially in the second half. Vikas Badisa’s music is decent. Chota K. Prasad’s editing is also commendable. The production values are high. Plus Points - Ashwin Babu’s acting - Suspense scenes - Climax Minus Points - Slow narration - Lack of engaging elements - Irrelevant scenes Rating by Telugu.yousay.tv: 2.5/5

Purushothamudu Review:  Raj Tarun's Journey from Billionaire to Common Man"
Purushothamudu Review:  Raj Tarun's Journey from Billionaire to Common Man"
Cast: Raj Tarun, Hasini, Ramya Krishnan, Prakash Raj, and others. Written and Directed by: Ram Bhimana Music: Gopi Sundar Cinematography: PG Vinda Editing: Marthand K. Venkatesh Producers: Dr. Ramesh Tejavath, Prakash Tejavath Amidst personal and professional struggles, young hero Raj Tarun's latest film 'Purushothamudu' has arrived in theaters. Directed by Ram Bhimana and starring actress Hasini as the female lead, this film tests Raj Tarun's ability to rebound. Let’s see if it has succeeded in giving him a hit in this review. What's the story? Rachit Ram (Raj Tarun) was born a billionaire, the sole heir of Aditya Ram (Murali Sharma), who heads PR Groups. After completing his education abroad, Aditya decides to entrust his son with the CEO responsibilities. However, Rachit's aunt Vasundhara (Ramya Krishnan) objects to this. According to company rules, a candidate for CEO must live incognito as a common man for 100 days. Rachit agrees to this and steps outside his comfort zone. He travels to a remote village in Andhra Pradesh named Rayapulanka. What twists did Rachit’s life take there? What adventures did he undertake to save the village farmers? And what is his love story with Ammu? That forms the rest of the story. Performances Raj Tarun delivers a commendable performance in dual dimensions as Rachit Ram, convincingly playing both a billionaire and an unidentifiable common man. Hasini Sudheer, as the village girl Ammu, shines beautifully on screen, and the love scenes between Raj Tarun and Ammu are pleasing. Praveen provides comic relief in the friend’s role, while other comedians like Satya and Brahmanandam shine throughout the film. Direction We've seen many films where a wealthy young man lives as a common man for various reasons. Director Ram Bhimana has crafted 'Purushothamudu' in a similar vein. The real story begins when the wealthy hero reaches the village of Rayapulanka. The introductions and romantic scenes with the heroine are engaging. The first half is entertaining with village backdrop comedy, and the hero's stance against injustices in the village makes for an appealing interval bang. However, the narrative seems to lose track in the second half, meandering predictably and boringly without any significant twists. The climax, although predictable, is somewhat saved by Prakash Raj's entry and his impactful dialogues. Director Ram Bhimana fails to bring any novelty to the story or narration. Technically Musically, Gopi Sundar’s contributions are just passable, with none of the songs being particularly memorable. The background score is decent. PG Vinda’s cinematography is impressive, capturing the essence of village life beautifully. The editing is adequate, and the production values are suitably high for the film. Plus Points - Raj Tarun’s acting - Some scenes in the first half - Chemistry between the hero and heroine Minus Points - Routine story - Predictable narrative - Lack of twists Telugu.yousay.tv Rating: 2.5/5

Bharateeyudu 2 Review: Kamal Haasan Returns, but Does the Sequel Match the Original's Brilliance?
Bharateeyudu 2 Review: Kamal Haasan Returns, but Does the Sequel Match the Original's Brilliance?
Cast: Kamal Haasan, Siddharth, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani, Vivek Director: Shankar Music: Anirudh Ravichander Cinematographer: Ravi Varman Editor: Sreekar Prasad Producer: Allirajah Subaskaran Release Date: 12-07-2024 Kamal Haasan and director Shankar's original film, 'Bharateeyudu', which debuted twenty-five years ago, became a sensation for its intense critique of corruption and bribery. The sequel, titled 'Bharateeyudu 2', was released in theaters on July 12. Alongside Kamal Haasan, the film stars Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, S.J. Surya, Bobby Simha, Brahmanandam, and Samuthirakani in pivotal roles. Has this film met expectations? Has Kamal Haasan once again captivated audiences as Bharateeyudu2? Let's explore in this review. Plot Aravindan (Siddharth) and his friends fight against corruption and injustices within the country. They spread awareness through social media videos and urge the return of Bharateeyudu. In response, the veteran freedom fighter Senapathi (Kamal Haasan), known for his previous anti-corruption crusades, returns to India. He takes decisive action against those deeply involved in corruption and motivates the youth. However, unexpected developments stir public dissent against Bharateeyudu. What exactly unfolded? Why did the public turn against Senapathi? What triggered their anger? Did Bharateeyudu succeed in his objectives upon returning? This forms the crux of the story. Performance  In 'Bharateeyudu 2', Kamal Haasan delivers a virtuoso performance, reprising the role of Senapathi with remarkable skill. Siddharth also stands out in a pivotal role. Rakul Preet Singh and S.J. Surya enhance the film with their performances, although their characters are somewhat underdeveloped. The rest of the cast delivers adequate performances. Direction Director Shankar seems to have merely repeated the narrative of Bharateeyudu. He updated an outdated story to fit modern times, focusing the sequel on showcasing how Bharateeyudu would eliminate corruption today. Shankar’s usual flair is missing in the direction. The screenplay is lackluster, and even Kamal Haasan's introduction isn't as engaging. While some scenes are well-executed, others fail to make an impact. However, Kamal Haasan's chase sequences and the fight scenes with terrorists are highlights. The social message adds some strength to the film, but the lack of father-daughter sentiment and uninspiring songs from the first film negatively impact this one. Overall, the sequel fails to mesmerize the audience as Senapathi did before. Technical Aspects On the technical front, the music by Anirudh Ravichander isn't memorable, though the background score is good. However, in some scenes, the BGM dominates too much. The cinematography is commendable, and the editing is passable. The production values are high, showing no compromise on spending. Plus Points Kamal Haasan's actingThe messageAction sequences Minus Points Outdated storyWeak screenplayLack of emotional impactDragging scenes Telugu.yousay.tv Rating : 2.5/5   Public Talk: What Are Netizens Saying? On Twitter, 'Bharateeyudu 2' is receiving mixed reactions. While a few comment that the film is good, many are posting that it's a flop, surrounding it with negative talk. Sasimadhanam Review: Watch out for fun Love Story
Cast: Pavan Sidhu, Soniya  Singh, Roopa lakshmi, Pradeep Raparthi, Krithika, Ashok Chandra Director: Winod Gali Music Director: Sinjit Yerramilli Cinematography: Rehan Shaikh Editor: Anil Kumar P Producers: Harish Kohirkar Release Date: July 4, 2024 OTT Platform: ETV Win The latest Telugu romantic love drama web series, "Sasimadhanam," has premiered on the popular OTT platform ETV Win starting July 4. The main roles are played by Pavan Sidhu and Soniya  Singh, who have previously starred together in several short films and are rumored to be a couple in real life. How does the series fare? How captivating is their chemistry? Let's find out in this review. What's the Story? Madan (Pavan Sidhu) from Warangal lives with his brother's family and earns money through betting. He falls in love with Sasi (Soniya Singh) from Hyderabad. After losing a significant amount of money in betting, Madan encounters difficulties. When he learns that Sasi's family will be away for ten days for a wedding, he decides to visit her. However, on the night he arrives, the wedding is canceled, and her family unexpectedly returns. How did Madan manage to evade Sasi's family? What challenges did he encounter? How did he interfere with Sasi's arranged marriage prospects? Did Sasi's family eventually accept their marriage? These questions form the crux of the series plot. Performances The acting of Soniya Singh and Pavan Sidhu is a major highlight of the series. Their real-life relationship adds an authentic touch to their on-screen chemistry. They both delivered charming performances. Pradeep, who plays Sasi's father, excels with his comedic timing, while Ashok Chandra adds an emotional touch in the grandfather role. Keshav Deepak, as Madan's brother, and Roopa Lakshmi, as the family matriarch, among others, effectively contribute to the series. Direction Director Winod Gali successfully crafted a charming love story series, diverging from the usual bold suspense thrillers. Although the plot is conventional, he managed to keep it captivating. The intrigue surrounding what happens next, especially after the hero becomes trapped in the heroine's house, holds the audience's attention. The comedic tension that emerges as Madan attempts to hide with Sasi's assistance adds entertainment value. However, some scenes feel repetitive and the series suffers from a lack of visual variety because it is set in a single location. The screenplay could have been improved. Technically Musically, Sinjit Yerramilli did well, especially with two songs that stand out. The background score is adequate. The cinematography is also good, providing fresh visuals suitable for a love story. The production values are high. Plus Points - Acting by Siddhu and Soniya  - Confusion comedy - Music Minus Points - Routine story - The secondary love track - Some boring scenes Telugu.yousay.tv Rating : 2.5/5

He apprehends a person named Gunaa within 48 hours, claiming him to be the culprit, and executes him in an encounter. A judicial committee is then formed, headed by Judge Sathyadev (Amitabh Bachchan), to investigate the matter. What did the committee find? What was the reason behind Saranya's death? What role does the education mafia play in her murder? And how are characters like Patrick (Fahadh Faasil), Nataraj (Rana Daggubati), ACP Roopa Kiran (Ritika Singh), and Hanu Reddy (Sampath Raj) connected to the case? To find out, you must watch the movie. Performance Analysis As always, Superstar Rajinikanth delivers an exceptional performance. His mass moments, heroism, and elevation scenes make his character a visual treat. Especially, his dialogue delivery and mannerisms are sure to impress the audience. Amitabh Bachchan, in an equally important role, is fantastic, and their scenes together are electrifying. Fahadh Faasil, playing a police informer, is captivated by his witty performance. Rana Daggubati and Dushara Vijayan also got substantial roles and impressed with their performances. The rest of the cast has performed well within their scope. Direction and Execution Director T.J. Gnanavel, known for the socially conscious 'Jai Bhim,' attempts to deliver another strong message through 'Vettaiyan.' Adding mass moments, heroism, and commercial elements to the story was a major plus. The film boldly addresses how people exploit under the guise of "smart education." The director starts the movie on a commercial note with Rajinikanth's introduction and action against the drug mafia and takes the story into the core plot after Saranya's case. However, the slow pace of the narration and some predictable elements work against the film. But the scenes between Amitabh and Rajini are a highlight, adding intrigue. Rajini’s dialogues and the director’s handling of the star cast like Fahadh Faasil and Rana are impressive. The climax is also satisfactory. Technical Aspects In terms of technical aspects, every department performed well. The cinematography was excellent, giving the film a commercial look. Anirudh's background score, as always, excites the audience, and the fans are sure to enjoy it. The editing could have been a bit sharper. Lyca Productions did not compromise on the production quality. Maa Nanna Superhero Review: A Touching Father-Son Story – Is This Sudheer Babu's Comeback?
Cast: Sudheer Babu, Sayaji Shinde, Harshith Reddy, Aamani, Raj Sundaram, Shashank, Sai Chand, Arna, Chandra Vempati, and othersDirector: Abhilash KankarMusic: Jai KrishnaCinematography: Sameer KalyaniEditing: Anil Kumar. PProducer: Sunil BalusuRelease Date: October 11, 2024 'Maa Nanna Super Hero' is a film starring Sudheer Babu in the lead role, directed by Abhilash Reddy Kankar. Arna plays the female lead, and Sayaji Shinde and Sai Chand appear in key roles. The movie, released on October 11 as a Dasara gift, had premiered a day before. So, how is this movie? Did the father-son sentiment strike a chord with the audience? Did it bring success to Sudheer Babu, who has been struggling with a series of flops? Let's find out in this review. Plot Prakash (Sai Chand) is a truck driver whose wife dies after giving birth to their child. Unable to take care of the newborn, Prakash leaves the child in an orphanage and goes away for work. Unexpectedly, he gets arrested and ends up spending 20 years in jail. On the other hand, a stockbroker named Srinivas (Sayaji Shinde) adopts the child, Johnny (Sudheer Babu). Since Johnny’s arrival, Srinivas's life has turned upside down, leading to financial troubles. He blames Johnny for his misfortune and harbors resentment towards him, while Johnny still loves Srinivas deeply and tries to pay off his debts while taking care of him. Meanwhile, Srinivas ends up owing a powerful politician one crore rupees. At the same time, Johnny meets his biological father, Prakash. What happens next? How does Johnny work to pay off Srinivas's debt? Does Srinivas finally understand Johnny’s love? To find out, you need to watch the movie. Performance Analysis In 'Maa Nanna Superhero,' Sudheer Babu presents a different side compared to his previous films. Known for showcasing his physique in action movies, this time, he impresses with his mature acting, bringing out the emotions perfectly and striving for recognition as a complete actor. Sayaji Shinde gives a good performance as the foster father, though his character lacks depth. Sai Chand, as the biological father, lives the role with his trademark acting. Most of the important scenes revolve around these three characters. Arna, as the heroine, doesn’t have much importance in the story but manages to make an impression with her glamour in some scenes. The rest of the cast has done a decent job within their scope. Direction For those who have watched Tamil and Malayalam films and wondered why such feel-good movies aren't made in Telugu, this film will bring joy. Director Abhilash Kankar chose an emotionally touching story. The plot revolves around the emotional journey of a father separated from his child at a young age and the complexities of a foster father-son relationship. However, the director took considerable time to establish Johnny's love for his father. Only after the emotional buildup does the real story begin. The first half focuses on Sudheer Babu and Sayaji Shinde's relationship, while Sai Chand's character comes into play in the second half, making it more emotional. The last 20 minutes are particularly heart-wrenching for the audience. The slow pace of the narration and lack of commercial elements are the negatives. Technical Aspects In terms of technical aspects, Jai Krishna's background score is a big plus for the film. The cinematography is also impressive. However, the editing could have been better. Trimming some lagging scenes would have improved the film. Janaka Aithe Ganaka Review: Middle-Class Hero Takes On Condom Company – Did He Win?
Janaka Aithe Ganaka Review: Middle-Class Hero Takes On Condom Company – Did He Win?
Cast: Suhas, Sankirthana Vipin, Murali Sharma, Rajendra Prasad, Vennela Kishore, Goparaju Ramana, Acharya Srikant, and othersWriter, Director: Sandeep Reddy BandlaMusic: Vijay BulganinCinematography: Sai SriramProducers: Dil Raju, Hanshitha Reddy, Harshith ReddyRelease Date: October 12, 2024 Young hero Suhas is on a roll, releasing films back-to-back and delivering good hits with unique stories. His latest film 'Janaka Aithe Ganaka' falls in line with this streak. Sankirthana plays the heroine. The film is produced by Dil Raju Productions and directed by Sandeep Bandla. It was released on October 12, 2024, with premieres held two days earlier. So, how is this movie? Has Suhas delivered another hit? Let's find out in this review. Plot Prasad (Suhas) is a middle-class man who, due to financial limitations, feels he can't provide "the best" for his children, so he decides not to have kids for the first two years of his marriage. His wife (Sankirthana Vipin) agrees with his decision, and his father (Goparaju Ramana) remains silent on the matter. However, unexpectedly, Prasad's wife becomes pregnant. Convinced that the condom failed, Prasad decides to sue the company. How does the case proceed? What changes occur in Prasad's life? Does he win the case? To find out, you have to watch the movie. Performance Analysis Suhas shines once again in his role as a middle-class hero. He convincingly portrays a man who insists on not having children but ends up becoming a father. Sankirthana delivers an excellent performance as Prasad's wife, playing the obedient and supportive homemaker. Rajendra Prasad, Murali Sharma, and Vennela Kishore all do justice to their roles, making for an impressive cast. Direction Director Sandeep Reddy Bandla scored full marks for the storyline. He presents a fresh take, distinct from routine films. He paints a vivid picture of the life of a middle-class man, his struggles after marriage, and all the expenses involved. The scenes related to pregnancy are touching and connect well with couples who might have avoided having children. The court scenes are humorously portrayed, adding light-hearted moments to the narrative. While some court scenes and the logic around child expenses lack coherence, the humor compensates for these gaps. However, the predictable storyline and lack of significant twists are the negatives. Technical Aspects In terms of technical aspects, the cinematography is well done. The background score is a major plus for the film, although the songs aren't particularly memorable. Editing is just okay, while the production values are top-notch, with no compromises from the producers. 'Viswam' Movie Review: Can Gopichand and Srinu Vaitla Break Their Dry Spell?
'Viswam' Movie Review: Can Gopichand and Srinu Vaitla Break Their Dry Spell?
Cast: Gopichand, Kavya Thapar, Naresh, Mukesh Rishi, Jisshu Sengupta, Vennela Kishore, Sunil, Sham, Pragathi, Rahul Ramakrishna, Srikanth Iyengar, Prithvi, and others. Director: Srinu Vaitla Music: Chetan Bharadwaj Cinematography: K. V. Guhan Editing: Amar Reddy Producers: Venu Donepudi, T.G. Vishwa Prasad Release Date: October 11, 2024 The latest film 'Viswam' directed by Srinu Vaitla and starring popular actor Gopichand, jointly produced by T.G. Vishwa Prasad and Venu Donepudi, with Kavya Thapar as the heroine, is a test to regain success after both have experienced a drought in hits. Released on October 11, did 'Viswam' bring them the success they were hoping for? Let's find out in this complete review. Plot In Hyderabad, a federal minister (Suman) is murdered. Assassins chase a child who witnessed the murder, intending to kill her. However, Gopireddy (Gopichand), who is acquainted with the child’s family, saves her multiple times from danger. There is a reason behind Gopireddy's acquaintance with the family. What is that reason? Why did Gopireddy distance himself from Samaira (Kavya Thapar) whom he met in Italy? Who really is Gopireddy? Why is he trying to save the child? What is Gopireddy's background? To find out, one must go to the theaters. Performance Actor Gopichand captivates with his settled acting and impresses in action sequences, proving his comedy timing once again with 'Viswam'. However, his role does not offer much variety compared to his previous films; it feels quite routine. Heroine Kavya Thapar doesn’t have much scope in acting but scores well on the glamour front. Naresh, Vennela Kishore, Sunil, and Rahul Ramakrishna bring laughter in the film, especially in the train episode. Other characters have performed well within their roles. Direction Having directed blockbusters like 'Anandam', 'Sontham', 'Venky', 'Dhee', 'Ready', and 'Dookudu', Srinu Vaitla had lost his track recently. Recognizing his strengths and weaknesses, he brought 'Viswam', a mix of action and comedy, back to the audience. However, choosing an outdated story for this film could be seen as a drawback. Punches and the comedy track are the strengths of the film, particularly the sequences involving Vennela Kishore and Prithvi that are sure to leave the audience in splits. The Italy track and the villain’s character feel weak. The hero-heroine love track also feels repetitive. However, the interval scene and the climax manage to engage. Technically On the technical front, Chetan Bharadwaj’s music is decent with two or three good songs, and the background score elevates the scenes well. K.V. Guhan’s cinematography is also commendable. Editing by Amar Reddy could have been sharper. The production values are high, giving each scene a rich look. Plus Points - Gopichand’s acting - Comedy - Background music Minus Points - Outdated story - Dragged scenes Telugu.yousay.tv Rating: 2.5/5

Kavya Thapar Hot Pics: Kavya Thapar Enthralling the Youth
Kavya Thapar starred as the heroine in the newly released movie 'Viswam'. Her performance has captivated the audience. In this film directed by Srinu Vaitla with Gopichand as the hero, Kavya Thapar did not have much scope for acting. However, she has definitely made a significant impact with her glamour. She has once again charmed the youth with her allure. In this context, the hashtag #KavyaThapar is trending vigorously online. Especially in the mass song 'Gunguru Gunguru Party', netizens are commenting that Kavya has stolen the show. Her beauty and dance moves are continuously highlighted in posts. https://twitter.com/i/status/1844650013252825352 The music director for this song was specially handed over to Bhims, instead of Chetan Bhardwaj. Bhims composed this track which featured energetic dance steps by Gopichand and Kavya Thapar. https://twitter.com/actressspecial/status/1844644160881426905 Kavya Thapar also made a mark with her glamour in the recently released 'Double iSmart'. She competed with Ram in the dance sequences and made a splash. Originally from Maharashtra, Kavya Thapar began her acting career with the 2013 short film 'Tatkaal'. She was introduced as a heroine in the Telugu film 'Ee Maaya Peremito' in 2018. In 2019, she acted in the Tamil film 'Market Raja MBBS', but did not gain much recognition. In 2021, she starred opposite young hero Santosh Shobhan in 'Ek Mini Katha', earning good marks as a heroine. Her portrayal of Amrita impressed the Telugu audience. In 2022, she entered Bollywood with the movie 'Middle Class Love'. Despite a good performance in the role of Saisha Oberoi, the film's lack of success did not bring her recognition. Last year, she acted alongside Vijay Antony in 'Bichagadu 2'. The positive reception of the movie brought her consecutive opportunities in Telugu. This year, she acted in the movie 'Eagle' alongside Ravi Teja. Despite high hopes, the movie did not succeed, leaving Kavya disappointed. Her subsequent films, 'Ooru Peru Bhairavakona' and 'Double iSmart', did not hit the mark, leading to a downturn in Kavya Thapar's momentum. The latest release, 'Viswam', as a comedy entertainer, seems passable, giving Kavya's fans a bit of relief. Alongside movies, Kavya has also acted in web series. She played leading roles in 'CAT' (Punjabi) and 'Farzi' (Hindi). She stated that she places great importance on culture and traditions. Kavya even fasted during Navratri, hoping for the success of the movie 'Viswam'. Kavya is also taking special training to speak Telugu fluently. She shared that she learned a lot from Gopichand during the shooting. While being busy in films, she is also very active on social media. She regularly shares glamorous photos, giving her fans a hot treat. Currently, her Instagram account is followed by 1.5 million people. Any photo she posts quickly trends online.
