Om Bheem Bush Review: Go watch ‘Om Bheem Bush’ and have rollicking fun.
Om Bheem Bush Review: Go watch ‘Om Bheem Bush’ and have rollicking fun.
Cast: Sree Vishnu, Priyadarshi, Rahul Ramakrishna, Preethi Asrani, Ayesha Khan, Srikanth Iyengar, Aditya Menon, Racha Ravi, and others Writer & Director: Sri Harsha Konuganti Cinematography: Raj Thota Music: Sunny MR Editor: Vijay Vardhan Producers: V Celluloid, Sunil Balusu Presented by: UV Creations Release Date: 22-03-2024 Starring Sree Vishnu, Priyadarshi, and Rahul Ramakrishna in the lead roles, the latest movie ‘Om Bheem Bush’ is directed by Sri Harsha Konuganti. Touted as a comedy entertainer, this film has arrived amid much anticipation. But did it manage to impress the audience? What kind of ruckus did these three cause? Let's find out in this review. What’s the Story About? Krish (Sree Vishnu), Vinay (Priyadarshi), and Madhav (Rahul Ramakrishna) are good friends who live life carelessly engaging in silly activities. In the course of events, amidst some dramatic developments, these three step into a village called Bhairavapuram. How did these three end up becoming scientists? How did the village change them? Why did they step into the fort haunted by the Sampangi ghost? What connection does Krish have with the ghost? What experiences did these Big Bang Brothers face upon entering the fort? And how did Krish’s love story with Jalajaakshi (Preethi Asrani) unfold? That forms the rest of the story. How Did They Perform? The comedy delivered by Sree Vishnu, Rahul Ramakrishna, and Priyadarshi is the main strength of the movie. Their comedic timing in many scenes brought strength to the narrative. The heroines, Preethi Asrani and Ayesha Khan, though their roles are limited, Ayesha Khan managed to attract with her glamor. Priya Vadlamani also made her presence felt with a special song. Racha Ravi, Aditya Menon, Srikanth Iyengar performed well within the scope of their roles. Other actors in various roles also managed to grab attention with their performances. How’s the Direction? Similar to ‘Jathi Ratnalu’, director Sri Harsha Konuganti mixed a crazy journey of three friends with horror comedy. The interactions between Sree Vishnu, Priyadarshi, and Rahul Ramakrishna are hilariously executed. The first half of the movie revolves around the A to Z services they undertake in the village and the comedy woven around it. The second half is centered around the Sampangi palace. The storyline involving the Sampangi ghost and the climax scenes are appealing. However, the opening scenes and some in the second half like dating the ghost didn’t leave much impact. Overall, the director successfully blended old themes with comedy, providing a fresh feel to the narrative. Technically Speaking Technically, the film’s crew did a good job. Sunny MR’s music is a plus point for the movie. Raj Thota’s cinematography is another highlight. Editor Vijay Vardhan Kavuri’s editing is apt for the film’s pace. The production values maintained by producers Sunil Balusu and V Celluloid are commendable. Plus Points - Performances by Sree Vishnu, Priyadarshi, Rahul Ramakrishna - Comedy - Climax scenes Minus Points - Routine story - Some drag in the first half Telugu.yousay.tv Rating: 3.5/5

Ashtadigbandhanam Review: A Fresh Suspense Thriller! What’s the Buzz?
Ashtadigbandhanam Review: A Fresh Suspense Thriller! What’s the Buzz?
Telugu suspense thrillers never fail to grab eyeballs. There's something about their captivating plots that hooks the audience. The renowned Director Baba PR, after his directorial debut with 'Saidulu', has ventured into the suspense genre. Vishika Kota, remembered for her role as a younger Tamannaah in 'Racha', graces the screen as the leading lady. Meanwhile, Surya Bharat Chandra, known for his short film performances, takes the lead role in 'Ashtadigbandhanam'. Let’s delve into the essence of the film. Plot Unveiled: Shankar, a rowdy sheeter who works for a political leader, is envious of his colleague Rowdy Sheeter securing an MLA ticket. He approaches the political leader Ramulanna, expressing his desire to compete as well. The condition? A cool sum of Rs.50 crores for the ticket. As Shankar strategizes with his gang, our protagonists, Surya and Vishika Kota, find themselves entangled in his scheming web. The unfolding mystery? Unearthing the location of Rs 100 crore given to Shankar by the Political leader and deciphering the mastermind behind the grand plot. The movie unravels these mysteries with exciting twists. Film's Verdict: An echoing dialogue from the trailer sets the film's tone: "This War is not for Kingdom... Not for Land, not for royalty or might, but for ego. A conflict sparked by ego only ceases when the ego disappears when the person dies." Baba P.R. masterfully weaves this ethos into the film’s fabric. The narrative questions the ramifications of ego-driven actions. The initial half is straightforward, but an engaging twist at the interval keeps viewers glued for what's next. Though a few narrative elements might raise eyebrows, on the whole, it's a delightful watch for thriller aficionados. Performance Highlights: In a cast of fresh faces, Presh’s portrayal stands out. Bharat Chandra delivers a satisfactory performance as the male lead. Vishika Kota, with her radiant charm, steals scenes and introduces an unexpected character twist. Mahesh Raoul, in the shoes of the antagonist Shankar, exudes menace brilliantly, particularly in action sequences. The ensemble cast contributes commendably to their roles. Technical Take: On the technical front, the film scores high. Jackson Vijayan's music composition, coupled with stirring songs and BGM, enhances the movie's ambiance. Action sequences are crafted well, though a tighter edit by Satya in certain segments would have been the icing on the cake. Pros: Engrossing thriller narrative Cliffhanger at the interval Stellar depiction of the antagonist, Shankar Cons: Occasional logical oversights Few scenes seem out of place Final Thoughts: If suspense thrillers are your jam, this one's a treat! Rating: 3.5/5.

Review: 'Balgam' - A Heartwarming Village Story
Review: 'Balgam' - A Heartwarming Village Story
'Balgam' is a directorial debut for comedian Venu, who has successfully captured the essence of a Telangana village with this emotional drama. The story revolves around relationships, love, and affection, in the rural landscape. The movie is shot in a beautiful Telangana village environment, which has been portrayed realistically by director Venu. Cast: Priyadarshi, Kavya Kalyan Ram, Sudhakar Reddy, Racha Ravi, Muralidhar Goud, Roopa Lakshmi, Jayaram, Vijayalakshmi, Venu Tillu, and others. Directed by: Venu Yeldandi Music: Bheems Cicerolio Cinematography: Acharya Venu Producers: Harshith Reddy and Hanshitha Reddy Let's see how successful the attempt is. Story: The central character of the movie is Komaraiah (Sudhakar Reddy), an elderly man who leads a cheerful and humorous life maintaining excellent relationships with everyone in the village. His grandson Sailu (Priyadarshi) is heavily in debt, and he wants to marry and pay off the debt with the dowry money. But on the exact day of Varapooja, his grandfather Komaraiah dies, and the marriage is also stopped due to the death in the house. Hearing the death of Komaraiah his youngest son and his daughter (Sailu’s Maternal Aunty), who had left the village 20 years ago, come to the village. Sailu's maternal aunt arrives in the village along with her daughter Sandhya. Sailu develops an interest in Sandhya after realizing that she is wealthy, and he tries to make her fall in love with him. As no crows eat Komuraya's Pinda (riceball) on the day of the offering a fight erupts between Sailu family members. The village elders think that Komuraya's Pinda not being eaten by crow is inauspicious for the village. They believe that this is happening because Komuraiya's wish is not fulfilled. If the crows do not eat the ‘Pinda’ till the 11th day, the ‘Sailu Family’ are warned that they will be expelled from the village. The story is about the dramatic developments that follow, how Sailu uses his grandfather's death, and what happened in the end. Performances: Priyadarshi lived the role of Sailu, and Kavya acted well as the heroine. Sudhakar Reddy's role was short, but he did it very well. Racha Ravi impresses with his comedy, and other actors also acted as per their scope. Technical Performance: Director Venu has directed the film very well, even though it is his first film. The story seems slow, but the emotions and comedy are natural. Music by Bhims Cicerolie is a plus for the film. Acharya Venu's cinematography is outstanding, and it has helped make the movie look very honest. The lyrics written by Kasarla Shyam are genuinely amazing. In terms of production, the film has no minus. Strengths: The story, background of the story, emotions, comedy, and lyrics in songs are the movie's strengths. Weaknesses: Stretched scenes in some places and the lack of a big star cast are the film's weaknesses. In a Word: 'Balgam' is a village family story film with good emotions. If you want to go to the cinema with your family this weekend, 'Balgam' is a must-see movie. Rating: 3/5

HBD Ram Charan: Did You Know the Restrictions Chiru Placed on Ram Charan During His Childhood?
HBD Ram Charan: Did You Know the Restrictions Chiru Placed on Ram Charan During His Childhood?
As the son of Megastar Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan stepped into the industry and carved a unique star status for himself in Tollywood. Making his debut with "Chirutha," Ramcharan went on to score an industry hit with his second film "Magadheera." With "Rangasthalam," he proved his acting prowess, and "RRR" elevated him to a global star status. On the occasion of Charan's birthday, let's delve into some fascinating details about his childhood. Ramcharan was extremely shy in his childhood. He rarely participated in family functions. While Allu Arjun and Allu Sirish danced, he would just watch them and cheer. Today, Ramcharan's dancing skills can be attributed to the talent inherited from Chiru. Interestingly, Charan never took any dance coaching except for acting lessons. It's remarkable how he mastered dancing without formal training. Growing up, Ramcharan wasn't particularly interested in movies, which could partly be due to Chiranjeevi's influence. Chiru made sure that the allure of cinema didn't distract Charan. To ensure Charan focused on his studies, even movie posters were not allowed at home. Chiru granted "cinematic freedom" to his son only after he completed his 10th grade. As for Charan's academic life, he was an average student and never stayed in one school for more than two years. Throughout his childhood to teenage years, Charan frequently changed schools and colleges. In total, he has attended 8 schools and 3 colleges. However, sports, more than studies, captured his interest. He learned horse riding as early as the fourth grade, showcasing his skills in "Magadheera." Chiru was just as strict about bike riding as he was about movies, hence he didn't encourage Charan to pursue bike riding. Charan has a great love for pets and often gifts them to relatives and friends on their birthdays or weddings. Every year, Charan is seen wearing a new spiritual thread, believing it brings peace and discipline into his life. Charan married Upasana, Vice-Chairperson of Apollo Hospitals, in 2012. The couple has a daughter named Klin Kaara. Chiranjeevi's comments on his movies, whether it's about a dance or a fight scene, hold great importance to Charan. After watching "Dhruva," Chiru appreciated Charan for doing justice to his role and character. Watching "Rangasthalam," Charan's mother was moved to tears, making these moments unforgettable for him. To date, Ramcharan has entertained Telugu audiences with 14 diverse films including "Chirutha," "Magadheera," "Orange," "Racha," "Govindudu Andarivadele," "Dhruva," "Rangasthalam," and "RRR." Currently, he is busy with "Game Changer," directed by the renowned director Shankar, which is set to release soon. Charan is also working on a film (#RC16) directed by "Uppena" fame Buchibabu. The film, where he stars opposite Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor, recently had its puja ceremony. Furthermore, Charan has officially announced another project, "RC17," with director Sukumar, following the blockbuster success of "Rangasthalam." This collaboration has set high expectations among fans.

Ravi Teja's 'Eagle' Movie Review: A Soaring Action Thriller or a Missed Flight?
Ravi Teja's 'Eagle' Movie Review: A Soaring Action Thriller or a Missed Flight?
Cast: Ravi Teja, Kavya Thapar, Anupama Parameswaran, Madhu, Vinay Rai, Navdeep, Srinivas Avasarala, Praneetha Patnaik, Ajay Ghosh, Nitin Mehta, Srinivas Reddy, and others Director: Karthik Ghattamaneni Music: Bheems Ceciroleo Cinematography: Karthik Ghattamaneni, Camil Polak, Karma Chawla Producers: People Media Factory Release Date: 09-02-2024 In Karthik Ghattamaneni's direction, Ravi Teja stars as the protagonist in the action thriller 'Eagle,' alongside Anupama Parameswaran and Kavya Thapar as the female leads. The film, produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and featuring music by Bheems Ceciroleo, had stepped back at the last moment from the Sankranti race and has now been released to the audience today (February 9). So, how is the movie? Does it add another hit to Ravi Teja’s account? Did Anupama and Kavya manage to enchant the audience with their beauty? Let's take a look. Story In a tribal village in the Talakona forest, local inhabitants consider Sahadev Varma (Ravi Teja) as a deity. Unexpectedly, one day, he goes missing. Crime investigative journalist Nalini Rao (Anupama Parameswaran), who comes to the village to investigate a matter, comes to know about Sahadev Varma. Following her article about his disappearance, the CBI gets involved. Who is Sahadev Varma really? Where did he go? Why did the CBI get involved after reading about him in the paper? What happened to Sahadev's wife, Rachana (Kavya)? What is the hero's connection with illegal arms? To uncover these matters, one must watch the entire movie. Performance Analysis Ravi Teja, as Mass Maharaj, has portrayed the role of Sahadev Varma distinctly different from his routine characters. Despite having fewer dialogues, he impresses with his stylish looks and expressions. Anupama Parameswaran has got a significant role, and although there's not much scope for acting, she is visible throughout the movie. Vinay Rai, in his limited role, performed within his character's scope. The roles of Avasarala Srinivas, Madhubala, Mirchi Kiran, and others, though limited, are captivating. Ajay Ghosh, Srinivas Reddy, and Amrutham Appaji have managed to entertain with their comedy track. Direction Analysis Director Karthik Ghattamaneni has crafted the movie around an engaging concept, focusing on gun culture and current circumstances with a compelling screenplay. The elevation scenes given to Ravi Teja, reminiscent of KGF levels, are well done. The director has presented Ravi Teja in the most stylish avatar, satisfying his fans with a full treat. However, those expecting Ravi Teja's signature comedy might be disappointed as the movie showcases him in a serious look throughout. Dividing the movie into chapters may confuse the audience a bit. Although some scenes seem illogical, the overall movie keeps the audience engaged. Technically... Moving on to the technical team, Dev John's sound designing and background score are more captivating than his songs. The songs, like "Aadu Macha" and "Gallanthe," are not just pleasing to listen to but also visually appealing. Karthik's cinematography is commendable. The dialogues written by Mani Babu are engaging. Furthermore, the production values are of a high standard. The work of the art department is notably praiseworthy. Plus Points Ravi Teja's performanceHero elevationsMusic Minus Points First half pacingScenes lacking logic Rating: 3/5

Chandramukhi 2 Review: Did Kangana Deliver as Chandramukhi?
Chandramukhi 2 Review: Did Kangana Deliver as Chandramukhi?
Cast: Raghava Lawrence, Kangana Ranaut, Vadivelu, Radhika Sarath Kumar, Mahima Nambiar, Lakshmi Menon, and more. Cinematography: RD Rajasekhar Music: MM Keeravani Produced by: Lyca Productions, Subaskaran Directed by: P. Vasu Release Date: September 28, 2023 The air is filled with anticipation as "Chandramukhi 2," a horror-comedy directed by P.Vasu, hits the theaters. It follows the 2004 blockbuster "Chandramukhi," and while Superstar Rajinikanth dazzled in the original, Raghava Lawrence takes the lead in this sequel. With Bollywood star Kangana Ranaut playing the titular role, and teasers, trailers, and promotional material generating buzz, let's see if the movie lives up to its expectations. The Plot Ranganayaki's (Radhika Sarath Kumar) sprawling family finds themselves amid unforeseen dilemmas. A sage advises a ritual in their family temple as a solution, leading them, including Madan (Raghava Lawrence), to the vicinity of the infamous Chandramukhi Palace. Basavayya (Vadivelu) now reigns over the estate. As the family sets up in the mansion for the ceremony, a warning against accessing the southern part of the mansion goes unheeded. The film unfolds the eerie consequences and the roles of Kangana Ranaut and Vetayya Raju/Sengotayya (also played by Raghava Lawrence) in this narrative. Impressions The narrative paces leisurely in the first half, with Vadivelu's comedic attempts not landing as expected. The momentum gains near the interval, offering an anticipatable yet engaging twist. The film's second half witnesses fluctuations in its narrative tempo. The romantic subplot feels derivative, but when the backstory of Vetayya Raju kicks in, the pace resumes. Both Raghava Lawrence and Kangana Ranaut's portrayals shine, even if the flashbacks are limited. The climax feels familiar, echoing the original. Performances Raghava Lawrence, no rookie to the horror genre, delivers a stellar performance, especially shining in the period role of Vetaiya Raju/Sengotaiya. Kangana Ranaut, stepping into the shoes of Chandramukhi, is captivating. Yet, her performance seems subdued when compared to Jyothika's portrayal in the original. Other cast members, including Rao Ramesh and Vadivelu, play their parts commendably. Direction Insights Director Vasu seems to have borrowed heavily from the original, with various elements feeling eerily similar. The narrative sometimes comes off as a mere reshuffling of the original script. However, Vasu's signature touch gleams in specific sequences. Technical Take Oscar-winner MM Keeravani's musical score feels underwhelming, barring Kangana's introductory song and a war-sequence background score reminiscent of Baahubali. Lyca Productions doesn't compromise on production values, and RD Rajasekhar's cinematography stands out. Pros Lawrence and Kangana's acting prowess Effective horror sequences Stunning cinematography Cons Lack of freshness Some clichéd sequences Underwhelming music Rating: 2.5/5

The released promotional materials have raised the audience's expectations. Released on Friday, May 3, did the film live up to these expectations? Was it another success for Suhas? Let's delve into this review to find out. The Story Surya (Suhas), a radio jockey, faces a life-altering accident that claims his parents and inflicts him with face blindness. He can no longer recognize faces or voices and keeps his condition concealed. One day, Surya witnesses a murder, although he can't identify the perpetrator. Determined to report the crime, he approaches ACP Vaidehi (Rashi Singh). In the midst of this, Surya is attacked. Unexpectedly, Surya becomes embroiled in the murder case himself. Who is the real murderer? Who framed Surya? Can Surya clear his name? And what is the story of his relationship with Payal? To uncover these answers, one must see the film. Performance Suhas delivers a captivating performance, seamlessly embodying the character of a person with face blindness. His acting has evolved from his previous works, adeptly blending humor and emotion where necessary. Payal, portraying Suhas's love interest, provides a satisfactory performance, making their shared scenes enjoyable. Rashi Singh excels in her role as a police officer, bringing depth to her character. Viva Harsha, playing the friend, injects his typical humor into the film. Nandu and Sai Swetha also perform commendably within their respective roles. Direction Although movies featuring heroes with disorders are not new, director Arjun YK's incorporation of face blindness into the plot is refreshingly unique. He effectively captures the audience's attention with clever twists and establishes intrigue from the beginning. The first half of the film progresses seamlessly with lighthearted interactions between the hero and his friend, culminating in an unexpected twist that heightens the intrigue just before the interval. The second half continues to hold the viewer's interest with crucial twists and climactic scenes, although the pace occasionally dips. The romantic subplot between the hero and heroine feels somewhat shallow and could be considered a drawback. Additionally, the director's approach to storytelling can sometimes seem formulaic. Technically... Technically, the movie excels across all departments. Chandrashekharan's cinematography is particularly noteworthy. The background score by Vijay Bulgani, which surpasses the songs, significantly enhances the film, lifting many scenes. The editing is competent. Additionally, the production values are impressive, demonstrating a clear commitment to quality without any visible shortcuts. Plus Points Suhas's actingTwistsSecond half Minus Points Initial scenesSometimes slow-paced narration Telugu.yousay.tv Rating: 3/5

"Vyooham" Movie Review: RGV dishes out average fare.
Cast: Ajmal Ameer, Manasa Radhakrishnan, Rekha Nirosha, Surabhi Padmavathi, Dhanunjay Prabhune, Kota Jayaram, Elena Tuteja, and others. Director: Ram Gopal Varma Music: Balaji Cinematography: Sajish Rajendran Editing: Manish Thakur Producer: Dasari Kiran Kumar The movie "Vyooham," directed by Tollywood's sensational director Ram Gopal Varma, was released worldwide today (March 2). After overcoming numerous obstacles, this film has made its grand entry into theaters in Telugu states. Directed by Ram Gopal Varma, this film stars Ajmal and Manasa as the main leads and is produced by Dasari Kiran Kumar under the banner of Ramadhutha Creations. Let's see how the movie is and if it managed to impress the audience. Story The story of "Vyooham" is a compilation of events from the time of YS Rajasekhar Reddy's death until YS Jagan became the Chief Minister. What were the efforts made by CBN (Dhanunjay Prabhune) and Pawan's characters to discredit Jagan? How did Jagan withstand their conspiracies and ascend to the CM's throne with the support of the people? The movie explores the dynamic changes in AP politics during this period. Performance Ajmal Ameer, playing the role of YS Jagan, has completely immersed himself in the character. His acting and expressions brilliantly portrayed Jagan. The movie revolves around Ajmal, and his performance in emotional scenes is particularly commendable. Manasa Radhakrishnan, as Jagan's wife Bharathi, also impressed. Dhanunjay Prabhune, appearing as Chandrababu, maintained a serious look throughout the movie. The actors who played Chiranjeevi and Pawan roles, among others, performed well within the scope of their characters. Direction Director Ram Gopal Varma has attempted to expose the behind-the-scenes political plays from his perspective through this film. He showcased Jagan's character positively while depicting Chandrababu and Pawan in a negative light. The dialogues between Chiranjeevi and Pawan's characters are humorous. However, RGV focused more on criticizing than narrating the movie. Paying attention to the story and screenplay would have been beneficial, especially since the second half feels dragged. This movie might not appeal to those expecting commercial elements but will satisfy a certain audience segment. Technically On the technical front, Balaji's background score is captivating, and Sajish Rajendran's cinematography is commendable. The production values are also quite good for the movie. Plus Points: - Ajmal Ameer's acting - Background music Minus Points: - Lack of commercial elements - Dragged second half - Some overextended scenes Telugu.yousay.tv Rating: 2.5/5

Concurrently, the national independence movement against British domination is escalating. One of Mallikajan's daughters, Bibbo Jan (Aditi Rao Hydari), engages in the freedom struggle. The youngest daughter, Alamzeb (Sharmin Segal), romantically involves herself with a Nawab, Tajdar (Taha Shah Badussha), challenging the established norms of Heeramandi. What transpires thereafter? Chaari 111 Review: Vennela Kishore Impresses as a Spy Agent
Chaari 111 Review: Vennela Kishore Impresses as a Spy Agent
Cast: Vennela Kishore, Samyuktha Viswanathan, Murali Sharma, and others Director: TG Keerthi Kumar Music Directors: Simon K King Cinematographer: Richard Kevin A Editor: Kaashish Grover Producer: Aditi Soni Vennela Kishore stars as the hero in the spy action fun entertainer 'Chaari 111', directed by TG Keerthi Kumar. Samyuktha Viswanathan plays the female lead opposite Vennela Kishore, with Murali Sharma in a pivotal role. Simon K. King has provided the music for this film, which hit the screens today. Let's see how much it managed to impress the audience and whether Vennela Kishore has captivated the viewers in his hero role in this review. Plot Chaari (Vennela Kishore) is an agent at Rudranetra, a spy agency, who constantly makes silly mistakes and gets scolded by his boss, Rao (Murali Sharma). Amidst this, a human bomb blast occurs in the city. Chaari is assigned as an agent to solve this crime. Eesha (Samyuktha Viswanathan) is also included in this mission as 'Plan B'. Who is behind this crime? Why did they plan the blasts? How did Chaari find him? What's the love story between Chaari and Eesha? That's the story. Performances Vennela Kishore has delivered a fantastic performance in this film. As agent Chaari, he induces laughter with his signature style while making silly mistakes. He steals the show in the climax action scenes and showcases his emotional range in different scenes from his previous films. Samyuktha Viswanathan has done a good job as the female lead. Murali Sharma and comedian Satya also captivate with their performances. Other actors, including Brahmanandam, have performed well within the scope of their roles. Direction Director TG Keerthi Kumar's main storyline and some comedy scenes are quite good. However, the single-line story and the routine, uninteresting narration are drawbacks. Constantly making Chaari commit silly mistakes becomes tedious for the audience after a point. Despite some good comedy making and funny dialogues, the lack of gripping scenes and illogical sequences slow down the film. The crucial flashback scene and the climax also fail to satisfy. The villain's character conclusion could have been better executed. Technically On the technical front, Simon K. King's background score is adequate. Cinematographer Richard Kevin's work is a major strength of the film, capturing every frame effectively. The editing is also commendable. Producer Aditi Soni's production values are high, with no compromise visible in the quality. Plus Points - Vennela Kishore's acting - Comedy - Cinematography Minus Points - Slow narration - Lack of engaging scenes Telugu.yousay.tv Rating: 2.5/5

Lal Salaam Movie Review: Rajnikanth shines in a Cinematic Pitch of Unity and Rivalry
Lal Salaam Movie Review: Rajnikanth shines in a Cinematic Pitch of Unity and Rivalry
Cast: Rajinikanth, Vishnu Vishal, Vikranth, Kapil Dev, Nirosha Radha, Senthil, Jeevitha, Thambi Ramesh, and others Director: Aishwarya Rajinikanth Music: A.R. Rahman Cinematography: Vishnu Rangaswamy Producer: Subaskaran Allirajah Release Date: February 9, 2024 In the latest film 'Lal Salaam' starring superstar Rajinikanth in the lead role, his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth takes the director's chair. Produced by Lyca Productions, the film also stars Vishnu Vishal, Vikranth, and features a guest appearance by former Indian cricketer Kapil Dev. Set against a cricket backdrop, this action movie hit theaters today. Actress Jeevitha Rajasekhar makes her re-entry with this film. Let's see how the movie is and whether Rajinikanth has once again impressed with his performance, delivering success to his daughter's directorial venture. Story Tiru (Vishnu Vishal) and Moiuddin Bhai's (Rajinikanth) son, Shamshuddin, have been rivals since childhood. They are key players in the ‘Three Star’ Cricket team established by Moiuddin Bhai. Jealous of Tiru's success, some conspire to make him leave the team and start a new one. Thus, Tiru establishes the MCC team. However, these teams represent two different religions (Hindu - Muslim), turning their match in the village into an event reminiscent of an India-Pakistan match. A crucial match turns the lives of Tiru and Shamshu, putting Shamshu's dream of playing for the national team in jeopardy. What happened in that match? How did Moiuddin Bhai unite the divided village and teams is the story. Performance Analysis Even in a special role in 'Lal Salaam,' Rajinikanth (Lal Salaam Movie Review In Telugu) completely dominates the narrative. Once again, he impresses with his remarkable acting skills. As a father to a son and a religious leader, Rajinikanth lived in the character of Moiuddin Bhai. Despite his brief appearance, Rajinikanth became the backbone of the film. Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth, as rivals, delivered captivating performances, appearing as professional cricketers on screen. Former Indian captain Kapil Dev's guest appearance was a pleasant surprise for the audience. Nirosha Radha, Senthil, Jeevitha, Thambi Ramesh, and others performed well within their roles. Direction Analysis Director Aishwarya Rajinikanth's choice to base the film on two different religions was bold. She tailored the story to reflect current political and social scenarios. Although she chose a powerful subject, her presentation of the storyline and the connection between Vishnu and Vikranth's scenes lacked clarity. Rajinikanth's character duration was notably short, and extending his presence would have added value to the film. The highlight of the film is its dialogues, especially Rajinikanth's lines representing Muslims, asserting they are citizens of this country, which garnered applause in theaters. Technically... On the technical front , A.R. Rahman's music is a major plus for the movie. The background score by Rahman, especially the elevations given to Rajinikanth's character, is captivating. Rahman's BGM elevates Rajinikanth's role significantly. Vishnu Rangaswamy's cinematography is commendable, and the production values are of high quality.
