At the film's trailer launch event on Wednesday, journalists questioned her about a scene in the trailer and brought up a potential conflict with Vijay Deverakonda. Anasuya clarified that she had no major issues with Vijay and that her comments that day were about stage manners. "I only said we should behave properly when in the limelight.
