Direction Director Aswin Ram attempts to present the complex concept of multiple personality disorder in a humorous light. The first half is swiftly paced with sequences of wedding preparations, a halted marriage, a suicide attempt, and the quick marriage to Anandi all unfolding in an entertaining manner. While the first half thrills and amuses the audience, the story seems to dull down in the second half. The backstory of the heroine and the repetitive narrative might bore the audience. The climax is particularly confusing. Despite the innovation, director Aswin Ram struggles to keep the film engaging throughout. Technically On the technical front, the cinematography is a major plus for the film, providing fresh visuals. Vivek Sagar’s music, however, does not make a significant impact. The editing could have been tighter. The production values are high, with no compromises on the budget. The Story In the 1980s, in the border area of Kuppam which connects Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka, Thammireddy and his family, including his brother Basava and son Sharath Reddy, ruled the area harshly, creating chaos and injustice. Subrahmanyam (Sudheer Babu) arrives in this tough environment and starts working as a mechanical lab assistant at a local college. However, he quickly runs into trouble with Sharath Reddy, leading to his suspension. With financial pressures mounting, Subrahmanyam uses his mechanical skills to start making guns illegally. Although he initially conflicts with Sharath Reddy, they eventually join forces to continue the gun-making business. Eventually, Subrahmanyam challenges Thammireddy’s authority. What follows? The much-anticipated third season, 'Mirzapur Season 3,' is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime. Directional Insights Compared to previous seasons, this installment showcases more political drama. The directors have skillfully crafted the series with intense and thrilling action-packed episodes. The strategic moves in the battle for Mirzapur are intriguingly presented, with engaging twists and suspenseful factors. However, the typical violence associated with the Mirzapur series is noticeably toned down this season. The absence of Munna's character and the reduced scope for Kaleen Bhaiya's role are significant drawbacks. Additionally, with episodes lasting 45-50 minutes, some may feel the series drags at times. The lack of bold dialogues, a draw for the youth in previous seasons, might disappoint some viewers. A lack of curiosity about what comes next also marks a failure on the directors’ part.
