Cast: Karthi, Aravind Swamy, Srividya, Rajkiran, among others. Written and Directed by: C. Prem Kumar Music by: Govind Vasantha Cinematography: Mahendran Jayaraju Editing by: R. Govind Raju Produced by: Jyothika, Suriya Release Date: 28-09-2024 In the C. Prem Kumar directorial, starring Tamil star hero Karthi who previously delighted audiences with feel-good movies like '96', the film titled 'Meiyazhagan' in Tamil, has been brought to the Telugu audience as 'Satyam Sundaram'. Aravind Swamy plays a pivotal role in this film, which is notably produced under the banner of 2D Entertainment by Suriya and Jyothika. Released today (September 28), how does this film fare? Did it manage to impress the audience? Let's delve into the review. What's the Story Satyam (Aravind Swamy), hailing from Guntur, leaves his home and village due to property disputes and relocates to Visakhapatnam. After 30 years, a situation arises requiring him to return to his village for his niece’s wedding. Upon his return, Satyam reconnects with a relative (Karthi) at the wedding. Calling each other 'Bava' (brother-in-law), they bond over numerous conversations. Initially irritated by Karthi’s intrusive manners, Satyam eventually warms up to his affection and admiration. What turns does their journey take? How does Satyam rediscover himself through this journey? What is the nature of his relationship with the person he calls 'Bava'? Does he finally remember his name, or not? That forms the rest of the story. How Did They Perform Aravind Swamy perfectly embodies Satyam, taking us along on his journey through his remarkable performance. We feel every emotion that Satyam experiences, from his pain to his discomfort. Karthi charms once again with his innocence, captivating as a typical young man from a village showing boundless love. This role will be remembered as a highlight in Karthi’s career. Devadarshini, playing the wife of Aravind Swamy, delivers a commendable performance. Having previously only played comedic and supporting roles, she proves her ability to handle a role with depth with ease. Srividya, Rajkiran, and Jayaprakash, although in minor roles, significantly impact the story. The rest of the cast performed well within their roles. Direction The director, C. Prem Kumar, attempts to convey that for a person to live happily, the presence of a loving individual is as necessary as money and fame. The film starts intriguingly, showing why Satyam left his village. His return for a wedding, the introduction of Karthi’s character, his mischief, and the troubles Satyam faces with Karthi unknowingly, are all portrayed entertainingly. The director shifts the setting to Karthi’s home, where Satyam’s experiences are heartfelt and take the audience back in time. The mental turmoil Satyam goes through upon not recognizing Karthi adds weight to the narrative. The climax is also well-executed. The film, like a beautiful novel, successfully comes to life on screen, directed flawlessly by Kumar. The slow pace of the story and lack of commercial elements could be seen as drawbacks. Technically On the technical front, the background music adds an additional layer of allure to the story, with a continual melody that enhances the emotional depth of the narrative. The visuals are captivating, and the production values are high. Plus Points - Story and emotions - Performances by Karthi and Aravind Swamy - Music Minus Points - Slow-paced narrative - Lack of commercial elements Telugu.yousay.tv Rating: 3/5

Satya: Tollywood's Rising Star Comedian, The Next Brahmanandam?
Satya: Tollywood's Rising Star Comedian, The Next Brahmanandam?
Prominent comedian Satya is currently the talk of Tollywood. His recent performance in 'Mathu Vadalara 2' has been widely praised for being hilariously entertaining. There's a buzz suggesting that Satya is set to become a star comedian in Telugu cinema. Online posts are even predicting he might be the next Brahmanandam among this generation of comedians. Critics acknowledge the fruit of over a decade and a half of Satya's hard work, as he now seems poised to push other comedians to the side in the industry. Satya's One-Man Show! Audiences who watched the Friday release of 'Mathu Vadalara 2' are all praises for comedian Satya. Although the film features many artists, including the lead actor Sri Simha, everyone seems to be talking about Satya. Even if the script is considered weaker compared to 'Mattu Vadalara', and other attractions in the film did not stand out as much, Satya’s comedy alone worked wonderfully. From the first scene to the last, Satya made everyone laugh. Particularly, his dance in the song '16 Year Age' has received a tremendous response. Despite several downsides in the film, viewers feel that Satya’s comedy overshadowed them all. If he continues to deliver such performances, his place as a star comedian is assured. 15 Years of Struggle.. Though Satya has been in the industry for nearly a decade and a half, it took him many years to get a significant break. Following Sunil, Satya brings a similar style of comedy that instinctively makes people laugh. He has been progressing slowly over the past few years. Whenever he lands a good character, he turns into the highlight of the film with his outstanding comedy. In movies like 'Mathu Vadalara', 'Rangabali', 'Bedurulanka 2012', and 'Geethanjali Malli Vachindi', he has delivered rib-tickling performances. Even in a lead role in 'Vivaha Bhojanambu', he made audiences laugh and cry. Despite being busier than ever, he hasn’t had a film that fully utilized his talent until now. 'Mathu Vadalara 2' seems to have filled that gap. Directors’ Focus on Satya! With each film, Satya’s career graph is on the rise, and Tollywood directors have taken notice. Information suggests that several star directors are planning to cast him in full-length characters in their films. With positive audience responses, filmmakers are considering creating separate comedy tracks just for him. Recently, in the Ravi Teja and Harish Shankar combo film 'Mr. Bachchan', Satya had a full-length role. Although his comedy was a highlight, the film’s flop status didn't bring him much recognition. Tough Competition for Other Comedians! Tollywood is home to many comedians like Ali, Vennela Kishore, Priyadarshi, Getup Sreenu, Saptagiri, Chamak Chandra, Thagubothu Ramesh, and Dhanraj, who are all trying to rise to stardom. Even Sunil has returned to comedy and villain roles. However, critics predict that all these comedians will face stiff competition from Satya. His rising popularity might make him the first choice for directors, suggesting that other comedians must carve out their unique identities or risk diminishing opportunities in the industry.

Zebra Movie Review: Satyadev and Dhananjaya Face Off in a Gripping Banking Thriller!
Zebra Movie Review: Satyadev and Dhananjaya Face Off in a Gripping Banking Thriller!
Cast: Satyadev, Daali Dhananjaya, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Amrutha Iyengar, Jennifer, Sunil, Satya, Sathyaraj, Suresh Chandra Menon, and othersDirector: Eashvar KarthicMusic: Ravi BasrurCinematography: Sathya PonmarEditing: Anil KrishProducers: S.N. Reddy, Bala Sundaram, Dinesh SundaramRelease Date: November 22, 2024 Satyadev and Daali Dhananjaya star in the film Zebra, directed by Eashvar Karthic of Penguin fame. Priya Bhavani Shankar and Amrutha Iyengar play the female leads. The movie is a white-collar crime drama that raised significant expectations, especially with Megastar Chiranjeevi himself participating in its promotions. Released on November 22, did Zebra live up to the hype? Did it finally deliver a much-needed hit for Satyadev? Let’s find out in this review. The Plot Surya (Satyadev), a middle-class man, works as a Relationship Manager at the Bank of Trust. He has a crush on his colleague Swathi (Priya Bhavani Shankar). One day, Swathi accidentally transfers ₹4 lakh to a wrong account. When she tries to recover the amount, the recipient claims to have spent it. To help Swathi, Surya steps in, but in the process, he unwittingly gets entangled in a ₹5 crore bank fraud. This chain of events leads him into a confrontation with Aadi  (Dhananjaya), one of the state’s most dangerous individuals. How does Surya face Aadi ? What role does Aadi  play in Surya’s life? How does the ₹5 crore fraud escalate, and does Surya manage to overcome these challenges? That forms the crux of the story. The Performances Satyadev shines once again in his role as Surya, proving his mettle as an actor. He seamlessly portrays a character that combines comedy, action, romance, and emotion. His performance elevates the film, but Dhananjaya also leaves a strong impression. As Aadi , Dhananjaya embodies power and menace, dominating the screen in several sequences. In some scenes, he even overshadows Satyadev. Priya Bhavani Shankar plays a significant role and performs convincingly, while Jennifer adds glamour to the narrative. Satya’s comedy timing is another highlight, though the supporting characters don’t leave a lasting impact as the story primarily focuses on the Surya vs. Aadi  dynamic. Direction Director Eashvar Karthic skillfully handles the banking-related content, delivering a gripping narrative with a strong screenplay. His past experience as a bank employee adds authenticity to the storytelling. The film effectively exposes the fraudulent practices within the banking system, though certain aspects lack conviction. For instance, the protagonist earning ₹5 crores within four days feels implausible, and resolving a ₹100 crore problem with just an email stretches logic. However, for audiences willing to overlook such inconsistencies, Zebra offers an engaging experience. The intense battle between Satyadev and Dhananjaya, along with Satya’s comedy and impactful dialogues, serve as major highlights. Technical Aspects From a technical standpoint, Zebra impresses. Ravi Basrur’s background score is a significant asset, especially elevating the action sequences. However, the songs fail to leave a lasting impression. Sathya Ponmar’s cinematography captures the narrative’s essence beautifully, while the editing is adequate. The art department excels in recreating the bank setting, and the production values are top-notch. Strengths Engaging story and screenplayPerformances by Satyadev and DhananjayaRavi Basrur’s background music Weaknesses Illogical sequencesSongs that feel forced into the narrative Telugu.yousay.tv Rating: 2.5/5

Mathu Vadalara 2 Movie Review: Comedy, Chaos, and Satya’s Hilarious Performance
Mathu Vadalara 2 Movie Review: Comedy, Chaos, and Satya’s Hilarious Performance
Cast: Sri Simha, Satya, Faria Abdullah, Sunil, Vennela Kishore, Rohini, and others. Writer and Director: Ritesh Rana Music: Kaala Bhairava Cinematographer: Suresh Sarangam Editor: Karthika Srinivas Producer: Chiranjeevi (Cherry) Release Date: September 13, 2024 Sri Simha stars in 'Mathu Vadalara 2,' directed by Ritesh Rana. The film features key performances by Faria Abdullah, Satya, Vennela Kishore, Rohini, and Sunil. The movie captured everyone's attention when actor Prabhas launched the trailer, which was full of laughs, heightening expectations. How did the film turn out? Did it impress the Telugu audience? Let's dive into this review to find out. Plot Babu (Sri Simha) and Yesu Babu (Satya) work as delivery boys struggling with financial issues. Their inadequate earnings lead them to become special agents. A small mistake in a case they handle gets them into trouble. What is this case about? What was their mistake? How did they get out of it? How does undercover agent Nidhi (Faria Abdullah) help them? To find out, you must watch the movie. Performances As the lead, Sri Simha delivers a solid performance, captivating in comedy and action sequences. However, Satya, present in every scene, steals the show, making him the true hero of the film. With his punchlines and comic timing, Satya excels, especially with his expressions that guarantee a laugh riot. His antics as the "Sexy Siren" in the film are particularly effective. Faria Abdullah also lands a substantial role that is memorable post her character in 'Chitti'. Vennela Kishore adds his unique flavor of comedy, while Sunil and Rohini do justice to their significant roles. Other actors also performed adequately. Direction Director Ritesh Rana crafts stories revolving around drugs, guns, and money. This time is no different, blending kidnapping drama with humor to entertain the audience. He successfully uses star references including Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Balakrishna, and Mahesh Babu to great effect. The characters of Sri Simha and Satya are particularly entertaining and well-developed. Every character appears fresh and funny on screen. The director keeps the first half a fun ride, though he struggles a bit in the second half where some scenes drag. The climax also feels predictable, a minor drawback. Technically On the technical front, Kaala Bhairava's background score is a major plus, elevating many scenes effectively. The cinematography is commendable, but the editing could have been tighter. The production values are high. Plus Points - Sri Simha and Satya’s performances - Comedy - Background music Minus Points - Some dragging scenes - Predictable climax Telugu.yousay.tv Rating: 3/5

Nikhil's 'Appudo Ippudo Eppudo' Review: A London Love Story That Misses Its Mark
Nikhil's 'Appudo Ippudo Eppudo' Review: A London Love Story That Misses Its Mark
Cast: Nikhil, Divyansha Kaushik, Satya, Ajay, Sai Ram Reddy, Rukmini Vasanth, Harsha Chemudu, and others Writer, Director: Sudheer Varma Music: Karthik Cinematography: Richard Prasad Editing: Naveen Nooli Producer: B.V.S.N. Prasad Release Date: November 8, 2024 The latest film ‘Appudo Ippudo Eppudo’ features young hero Nikhil, directed by Sudheer Varma, known for films like ‘Swamy Ra Ra’ and ‘Keshava.’ Produced by B.V.S.N. Prasad and presented by B. Bapineedu, Rukmini Vasanth plays the lead actress, with Divyansha Kaushik in a key role. The film hit theaters on November 8. How does it fare? Does it captivate the Telugu audience? Has it brought success to Nikhil? Let’s find out in this review. Story Rishi (Nikhil), from Hyderabad, is a carefree young man with little interest in his career. He falls for Tara (Rukmini Vasanth) at first sight. However, due to certain dramatic events, their love ends in a breakup. After the heartbreak, Rishi shifts his focus to his career and moves to London. There, he trains as a racer while taking up odd jobs for pocket money. During this time, he becomes close to Tulasi (Divyansha Kaushik) and even decides to marry her. But Tulasi suddenly goes missing. Meanwhile, Tara, the girl he once loved, unexpectedly shows up in London, and Rishi finds himself entangled with a local don, Badrinarayana (John Vijay). Who is Badrinarayana? What happened to Tulasi? Why did Tara come to London? To find out, you’ll have to watch the movie. Performances Hero Nikhil captivates as usual with his steady performance, entertaining the audience with his looks and comic timing, though there are no particularly striking moments in his role. Rukmini Vasanth impresses with her natural acting, skillfully expressing emotions and proving herself as a talented actress once again. Divyansha Kaushik shines in her role as Tulasi, a character with negative shades, and receives good marks for her looks and glamour. Comedian Harsha Chemudu’s timing brings laughs, while John Vijay and Ajay’s roles are average. Satya and Sudarshan add momentum to the storyline. Direction Director Sudheer Varma opted for a routine story for ‘Appudo Ippudo Eppudo’ but managed to infuse his mark through storytelling and screenplay. Notably, he introduces the story from the perspective of a third person (comedian Satya), which adds interest. However, the two love tracks between the hero and heroines feel tedious. The introduction of the hero and his first love track make the first half feel slow, while the second half is somewhat better. The director struggles with key scenes, and the twists reveal poorly. Nevertheless, he manages to keep the film afloat to some extent with the comedy of Harsha Chemudu, Satya, and Sudarshan. The film lacks commercial appeal, and weak action sequences are additional drawbacks. Technically In terms of technical work, Richard Prasad’s cinematography is good, while Karthik’s songs are average. The background score is passable, editing is adequate, and the production values match the story well. Plus Points Nikhil’s performanceComedyCinematography Minus Points Weak storyTedious love tracksLack of commercial elements Telugu.yousay.tv Rating: 2/5

‘Adiparvam’ Movie Review: Manchu Lakshmi Shines in a Gritty Fantasy Drama—But Does It Live Up to Expectations?
‘Adiparvam’ Movie Review: Manchu Lakshmi Shines in a Gritty Fantasy Drama—But Does It Live Up to Expectations?
Cast: Manchu Lakshmi, Aditya Om, Esther Norhana, Suhasini, Srijita Ghosh, Shiva Kanthamneni, Venkat Kiran, Satya Prakash, Sammeta Gandhi, Gemini Suresh, Delhi Rajeshwari, Harry Josh, Jabardasth Gaddam Naveen, and others. Written and Directed by: Sanjeev Megoti   Music: Madhavi Saib   Cinematography: S.N. Harish   Editing: Pavan Shekhar Pasupuleti   Production Companies: Anvika Arts, AI (America India) Entertainment   Movies like ‘Ammoru’ and ‘Arundhati’ set a high bar in the Telugu fantasy genre. Since Arundhati, there hasn’t been a fantasy drama with a similar impact in Tollywood. Now, 'Adiparvam,' starring Manchu Lakshmi and directed by Sanjeev Megoti, steps into that genre. With Aditya Om, Ester, and Suhasini in key roles, the film has just been released. Let’s see if ‘Adiparvam’ meets the expectations and if Manchu Lakshmi has delivered a memorable performance. Plot Locals near the Erragudi temple in Kadapa believe hidden treasures lie within it. They think that whoever claims these treasures will become the wealthiest person in Rayalaseema. Nagamma (Manchu Lakshmi), an MLA, is determined to acquire it by any means, even turning to dark powers. Meanwhile, Rayappa, a village elder, also wants the treasure. How far will Rayappa and Nagamma go to obtain this wealth? Why does Rayappa want to sacrifice his own daughter Bujamma (Srijita)? Why does Nagamma want her dead too? How does the village deity Maremma (Suhasini) intervene to stop their wicked ways? Does Nagamma ultimately fulfill her desire for the treasure? And what happens to the love story of Bujamma and Srinu (Venkat Kiran)? This is the crux of the story. Performance Direction Sanjeev Megoti based this movie on real events that occurred between 1974 and 1990. The story highlights the extremes people go to for personal gain, even contemplating the sacrifice of their own children. The sequences showing the consequences faced by the selfish characters pursuing the treasure are captivating. The portrayal of Maremma’s protection of the sacred treasure and her support for the faithful are well-executed. The conflict between divine and dark powers is engaging, and the director also depicts the love story of Bujamma and Srinu well. However, the predictable storyline, exaggerated drama, and lack of quality in the graphics weaken the movie. Technical Aspects On the technical side (Adiparvam Movie Review), the cinematography by Harish is commendable, with well-captured visuals. The music adds depth, with the background score enhancing scenes significantly. The editing could have been tighter, especially in the first half, and the graphics quality could have been better. The production values are strong. Positives - Manchu Lakshmi’s performance   - Battle between divine and evil powers   - Cinematography   Negatives - Predictable storyline   - Low-quality graphics   - Slow-paced scenes   Telugu.yousay.tv Rating: 2.5/5

Unpacking 'Mr. Bachchan' Movie Review: A Blend of Action, Comedy, and Romance
Unpacking 'Mr. Bachchan' Movie Review: A Blend of Action, Comedy, and Romance
Cast: Ravi Teja, Bhagyashri Borse, Jagapathi Babu, Sachin Khedekar, Shubhaleka Sudhakar, Kishore Raju Vashisht, Satya, Chammak Chandra, and others. Director: Harish Shankar Music: Mickey J. Meyer Cinematography: Ayananka Bose Editor: Ujwal Kulkarni Producers: TG Vishwaprasad, Bhushan Kumar, Krishnan Kumar, Abhishek The latest film featuring Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja under the direction of Harish Shankar is titled "Mr. Bachchan." Bollywood beauty Bhagyashri Borse stars as the heroine. Following the blockbuster "Mirapakay," the expectations for "Mr. Bachchan," another Ravi Teja-Harish Shankar combo, were sky-high. Trailers, teasers, and promotional images significantly raised expectations. The movie was released on August 15th as an Independence Day treat. How was the film? Did it meet expectations? Did Ravi Teja score another hit? Let's find out in this review. What's the Story? Income Tax Officer Mr. Bachchan (Ravi Teja) is an honest man. He becomes the target of wrath from his superiors after raiding a corrupt tobacco trader, leading to his suspension. Afterwards, Mr. Bachchan returns to his hometown, Kotipalli, and falls in love with Jikki (Bhagyashri). Just as he's preparing to marry, he's called back to his job. His next assignment is a raid at the home of MP Muthyam Jaggaiah (Jagapathi Babu), a man even officials fear. How did Bachchan conduct the raid in Jaggaiah’s home? What challenges did he face there? How did Bachchan and Jikki's love affair turn out? How did the elders agree to their marriage? Ultimately, what does Mr. Bachchan achieve? This is the rest of the story. How Did They Perform? Ravi Teja appears very powerful as Mr. Bachchan, dazzling with his unique style of comedy and reminiscent of the Ravi Teja of the past. He marked his presence in both action sequences and emotional scenes, showing versatility adapted to the situations. Bhagyashri Borse charmed with her glamor, especially shining in the songs. Jagapathi Babu fully justified his role as the antagonist. Comedian Satya entertained with his comedy, especially in the first half. Sachin Khedekar, Tanikella Bharani, Gautami, and Praveen also performed well in their respective roles, fitting perfectly within their character limits. How's the Direction? Director Harish Shankar attempted to show through this film the benefits to society when an Income Tax Officer works with integrity. He well-crafted the character of Mr. Bachchan and its related scenes. The love track between Ravi Teja and Bhagyashri Borse was a strong point of the movie. It played a crucial role in engaging the audience in the first half, along with Satya’s comedy. The climax leading up to the raid on Muthyam Jaggaiah's house and the subsequent action-packed scenes turned the narrative engaging. However, the magic of Harish’s direction faded somewhat in the second half. The entire second half revolving solely around the IT raid lessened the intrigue. A more interesting build-up between the hero and the villain's mind games would have been advantageous. A stronger portrayal of the villain’s role could have elevated the film to another level. Technically Technically, Mickey J. Meyer was the first hero for this film, providing catchy tunes suitable for the narrative. Songs like "Reppalu Dappulu," "Jikki," "Sitara," and "Nallanchu Tella Cheera" were a feast for both ears and eyes. Ayananka Bose's cinematographer was captivating. The production values were high. Plus Points - Ravi Teja’s performance - Love track - Comedy, Dialogues Minus Points - Second half - Some boring scenes Telugu.yousay.tv Rating: 3/5

Chiranjeevi: Godfather to Young Heroes, A Big Salute to This Mega Support!
Chiranjeevi: Godfather to Young Heroes, A Big Salute to This Mega Support!
Chiranjeevi, a leading actor in Tollywood, has dominated the Telugu film industry for over four decades. Even in his sixties, he continues to give young heroes a run for their money with his films. Currently, he serves as an inspiration to the entire generation of young heroes, mentoring newcomers along the way. Chiranjeevi stands as a pillar of support for these emerging stars without any backing in the industry, often attending their movie promotions and contributing to their success. HBD Priyanka Jawalkar: Turns 31, Glimpse into the Life of Tollywood's Rising Star and Social Media Sensation!
Priyanka Jawalkar, one of Tollywood's young heroines, caught everyone's attention with her beauty in her second film, 'Taxiwaala,' which was a solid hit. She has worked with stars like Satyadev and Kiran Abbavaram, though not all projects turned out successful. Recently, she made a special appearance in the film 'Tillu Square' that drew considerable attention. Today (November 12) marks Priyanka Jawalkar's birthday as she steps into her 31st year. On this occasion, let's delve into some interesting aspects of her life. Contrary to what some might think looking at her, Priyanka is a pure Telugu girl.  She was born in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, on November 12, 1992, and studied fashion technology in Hyderabad.  Afterward, she went to America to pursue an 8-month course in Statistics and then worked for six months in a multinational company.  During this period, she started uploading her photos on social media, which caught the attention of the team from 'Kala Varam Aaye,' offering her a role as a heroine.  Though that movie did not succeed, her beauty and acting skills won over the Telugu audience.  This led to her opportunity in 'Taxiwaala' alongside Vijay Deverakonda, which became a solid hit and made her a well-known figure.  After the success of 'Taxiwaala,' it seemed she had a bright future, but surprisingly, it took three years for her next film to be released.  In an interview, Priyanka Jawalkar revealed she waited for the right stories, rejecting 25 stories in the process.  She then acted in 'Thimmarusu' with Satyadev and 'S.R. Kalyanamandapam' with Kiran Abbavaram, both of which also received positive responses. Her performance was particularly appreciated in 'Thimmarusu,' where her appearance led to some harsh trolling regarding her body shape.  However, Priyanka clarified in an interview that she doesn't pay attention to trolls or gossips but shares them with her friends and enjoys the humor in them.  She also starred in the anthology film 'Gamanam,' where she played a captivating role as a Muslim girl named Zara.  This year, she made a special cameo appearance in 'Tillu Square' starring Siddhu Jonnalagadda, making a striking impression in a pub scene.  Priyanka mentioned in an interview that she has a crush on iconic star Allu Arjun and was particularly drawn to his film 'Pushpa.' Aishwarya Rai is her favorite actress, and Priyanka is fluent in Telugu, Hindi, and English.  Her favorite colors are red and black, and she particularly enjoys New Year celebrations.  Regarding movies, Priyanka watches films in any language and mentioned her fondness for the Malayalam film 'The Great Indian Kitchen.' Currently, with no projects in hand, Priyanka is focusing on social media, sharing hot photos to attract the attention of directors and producers.  Currently, Priyanka's Instagram account is followed by 2.1 million people, and any photo she shares quickly trends.

SS Rajamouli's Unmade Film with Suriya and Karthi: A Missed Opportunity Before 'RRR'?
SS Rajamouli's Unmade Film with Suriya and Karthi: A Missed Opportunity Before 'RRR'?
Director SS Rajamouli, who elevated Indian cinema to a global level and became the country's top director with 'Baahubali,' gained worldwide popularity with the film 'RRR.' The song "Naatu Naatu" from this film even won an Oscar, garnering accolades from all corners of the country. Currently, Rajamouli is busy launching a global-scale film 'SSMB29' with Mahesh Babu. Amidst this, an intriguing piece of news about Rajamouli has surfaced. It is known that he initially considered making a film with Kollywood stars Suriya and his brother Karthi, and it was rumored to be 'RRR.' Let's look into the details of this. 'They Narrated the Story... It Didn’t Work Out' Tamil star Karthi recently made interesting remarks in an interview. During the promotions for his next movie 'Satyam Sundaram,' Karthi, in an interview with director Gautham Menon, shared an intriguing past discussion. When Menon asked about acting alongside Suriya, Karthi revealed, "Suriya and I will act together if we get the right script. In the past, Director Rajamouli sir narrated a story to us. It was good but that movie didn’t work out." This revelation has surprised movie lovers, prompting questions about how they could pass up a Rajamouli story. There is speculation that had that movie been made, Suriya and Karthi’s stardom might have seen a different trajectory. https://twitter.com/adarshtp_offl/status/1835533193111392319 The Story of 'RRR'? Netizens speculate that the movie Rajamouli planned with Suriya and Karthi might have been 'RRR.' They assume that initially, Rajamouli envisioned Suriya and Karthi in the roles later played by Ram Charan and Tarak. For various reasons, that version never progressed to filming. Telugu audiences believe that if Karthi and Suriya had starred in 'RRR,' it might not have achieved the same level of success. They note that while the action and drama of 'RRR' are highlights, the dance sequences also stood out, an area where Suriya and Karthi might have lagged behind Charan and Tarak. Karthi as a Contender to Tarak! Karthi's latest film 'Satyam Sundari' is ready for release, where he stars alongside prominent actor Aravind Swamy. The film, directed by Prem Kumar C., who delivered the blockbuster '96,' is set to release worldwide on September 28. A teaser of the film was recently released and has captured attention. Karthi has also announced his next project, which will be produced under the banner of Dream Warrior Pictures as 'Karthi 29.' Details about the rest of the cast and technical team are expected to be released soon. 'SSMB 29' Shooting in December! Ever since Rajamouli announced a film with Mahesh Babu, everyone has been eagerly waiting to see when the film will go on floors. In this context, there is news that an official update related to SSMB29 will be given on Rajamouli's birthday. Regular shooting for the film is set to begin in December, with the first schedule starting in Germany. The film, set against an 18th-century backdrop featuring rare tribal communities, is creating strong buzz. An official announcement regarding this is expected soon.

Polimera 3: Targeting Bollywood Audiences with ‘Polimera 3’.. Could It Be Another ‘Kantara’?
The film "Maa Oori Polimera" captivated Telugu audiences so thoroughly that its impact is widely recognized without further explanation. Quietly released on OTT during the pandemic, this film unexpectedly became a sensation. With its story set against a backdrop of black magic, it received a warm reception from viewers. Encouraged by this success, the producers launched its sequel, "Polimera 2," in theaters, which proved to be just as successful and profitable. Given this success, Dr. Anil Viswanath, the director of Polimera, has embarked on ambitious plans for the series. He announced that the third installment would be released on a pan-India scale. On a National Level.. The horror thrillers "Polimera" and "Polimera 2" featured Satyam Rajesh, Kamakshi Bhaskarla, Baladitya, and Getup Srinu in leading roles. "Polimera 2," released in theaters last year, achieved significant box office success, breaking even within the first two days. In this context, the movie team recently announced the production of "Polimera 3" and also released a special poster. It is clear that the film is being made at a pan-India level and will be released in Telugu, Hindi, and other South Indian languages. Distributor Vamsi Nandipati is turning producer with "Polimera 3," and it is known that Bhogendra Gupta, the producer of the Polimera films, will serve as a co-producer. https://twitter.com/i/status/1810894418091692096 Shooting Soon Director Dr. Anil Viswanath has finished writing the script for "Polimera 3." Pre-production activities are currently advancing quickly, and the film unit plans to begin shooting soon, targeting an early release next year. Industry sources indicate that "Part 3" will surpass the first two installments in terms of spectacle, featuring even more twists and a compelling storyline. Answers to the Puzzles in ‘Polimera 3’! Director Anil Viswanath left several puzzles in "Polimera 2" that will be answered in "Polimera 3." The climax of "Polimera 2" showed Komurayya (Satyam Rajesh) discovering treasure through black magic in the temple cellar in Jastipalli. As he goes to meet his wife, Lakshmi (Kamakshi Bhaskarla) poisons him. Suddenly, actor Prithvi arrives and shoots Lakshmi on the forehead. Why did Prithvi do that? What did Komurayya do with the treasure? What was Komurayya’s brother Jangayya (Baladitya) searching for? These questions will be addressed in the third part. https://twitter.com/telugufilmnagar/status/1810936077869371440 Another ‘Kantara’? Kannada actor Rishab Shetty's "Kantara," which he directed, became a nationwide sensation with little need for an introduction. Although "Kantara" and "Polimera" are set against village backdrops and feature different storylines, they share themes centered around unseen forces. "Kantara" explores divine power, while "Polimera" delves into black magic. Currently, there is a strong demand for films with unique content in the North. Analysts believe that "Polimera 3" has the potential to captivate Bollywood audiences by offering a fresh and distinctive experience. Consequently, "Polimera 3" is anticipated to make a significant impact at the pan-India level.

Direction Based on the life story of gangster Ratan Khatri (Matka Movie Review), director Karan Kumar crafted this film. He captivated with his excellent direction set in the 1970s and 1980s. The director succeeded in presenting his envisioned story accurately. Particularly, choosing Varun Tej for Vasu's role and extracting an outstanding performance from him is a complete success for the director. He excellently presented how an ordinary young man, Vasu, became a significant figure by exploiting Matka gambling to control the country. However, the director faltered a bit with the screenplay. Occasional drag in scenes and a lack of strong background for characters other than Varun are negatives. Technically... On the technical front (Matka Movie Review), the cinematography was a significant plus. Cinematographer Kishore Kumar took the audience back to the 1970s with his expertise. The art department also worked hard to deliver an authentic periodic experience. Music director G. V. Prakash's songs were not particularly memorable, but the background music was good, enhancing the action sequences. The editing was okay, and the production values were high. Plus Points - Varun Tej's acting - Action sequences - Cinematography Minus Points - Screenplay - Dragging scenes - Songs Rating by Telugu.yousay.tv: 2.5/5

Rajamouli’s Big ‘What If’: Suriya Was Almost Cast in Magadheera – How It Could’ve Changed Telugu Cinema
Rajamouli’s Big ‘What If’: Suriya Was Almost Cast in Magadheera – How It Could’ve Changed Telugu Cinema
Tamil star Suriya’s upcoming film Kanguva is all set for a grand pan-India release on November 14. With the release date approaching, Suriya and the Kanguva team are actively promoting the film through various events, including a recent pre-release event. At this event, special guest Rajamouli mentioned that he once considered making a film with Suriya, sparking widespread curiosity. Fans are now speculating which film this might have been. Let’s take a closer look. Which Film Was It? The mega-blockbuster Magadheera (Ram Charan) catapulted Charan’s career to new heights under Rajamouli’s direction. According to the latest buzz, Rajamouli initially wanted to cast Suriya in Magadheera. While there were strong rumors about Rajamouli wanting Suriya for Baahubali, these rumors were debunked by Rajamouli’s father and writer Vijayendra Prasad, who clarified that Baahubali was designed specifically for Prabhas. However, it’s believed that Rajamouli initially considered Suriya for Magadheera. At the Kanguva pre-release event, Rajamouli praised Suriya’s Ghajini, which was released in 2005—four years before Magadheera in 2009. Considering that Magadheera took three years to complete, it’s likely Rajamouli had the script ready by 2006. Based on these timelines, fans speculate that Magadheera was the film Rajamouli envisioned for Suriya. What If That Had Happened? If Suriya had done Magadheera instead of Ram Charan, Charan’s career might have looked very different. After his debut with Chirutha, which received moderate success, Charan struggled to establish a strong foothold until Magadheera cemented his position in the industry. Even though he acted in several films after Magadheera, he didn’t experience another significant breakthrough until Rangasthalam in 2018. Industry analysts and fans believe that without Magadheera, Charan’s career might not have reached the heights it did. ‘Missed Chance to Work with Suriya’ At the Kanguva pre-release event, Rajamouli expressed admiration for Kollywood actor Suriya, crediting him as an inspiration for his pan-India films. He acknowledged Suriya’s impact on promoting Telugu cinema globally, citing Suriya’s promotion for Ghajini as a case study on how actors from different industries can connect with Telugu audiences. Rajamouli explained that Suriya’s efforts inspired him while creating Baahubali but noted that, despite wanting to work with Suriya, the opportunity never materialized. https://twitter.com/AadhanTelugu/status/1854710204740309097 ‘Told the Story… It Didn’t Work Out’ In a recent interview, Tamil star Karthi shared an interesting story about Rajamouli’s attempt to collaborate with him and Suriya. During the promotions for Satyam Sundaram, Karthi, in a conversation with director Gautham Menon, revealed that Rajamouli had once narrated a story to him and Suriya. “Rajamouli Sir told us a story that was good, but the movie didn’t materialize,” Karthi explained. Fans were stunned, wondering why they would pass on a Rajamouli film. If this project had taken off, it might have further elevated the careers of both Suriya and Karthi. https://twitter.com/adarshtp_offl/status/1835533193111392319
