'Devara' has set a record for the highest day 1 collections in Jr NTR’s career as a solo hero. On its first day, it grossed over Rs. 172 crores worldwide, as officially announced by the makers with a special poster. This is a significant achievement post-'RRR' in Tarak's career. Trade circles reported that it made Rs. 83.71 crores on the first day in the two Telugu states alone, with Rs. 19.32 crores coming from Nizam, making it the second all-time highest after 'RRR'.
