Hare Krishna Heritage Tower: A New Spiritual Landmark in Hyderabad
Hyderabad is set to welcome another spiritual edifice under the auspices of the Hare Krishna movement: the Hare Krishna Heritage Tower. Located in Kokapet, this heritage tower is being constructed over a six-acre area with a budget exceeding ₹200 crores. Recently, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy laid the foundation and performed the inaugural ceremonies for this spiritual building. Once completed, this 430-foot-tall tower will be among the tallest structures in the country and is expected to become a major attraction in Hyderabad. The specialties of this Heritage Tower include a temple mandapam that will house the idols of Radha-Krishna along with eight main gopikas. A temple resembling the grand enclosures of Tirumala dedicated to Lord Srinivasa is also planned within the complex. The temple dedicated to Lord Srinivasa Govinda is being intricately carved out of stone, reflecting the architectural culture of ancient temple structures. Envisioned as the Pride of Telangana, this Heritage Tower will embody architectural styles from the Kakatiya, Chalukya, and Dravidian eras. The tower will also feature a museum, library, and other modern facilities like temples, holograms, and laser projectors to enhance spiritual awareness among visitors. A free meal center is also planned to be established within the tower to serve the elderly and disabled, complete with elevators and ramps, as well as a queue hall for devotees waiting for darshan. The inauguration of the Hare Krishna Heritage Tower is set to transform the area into a spiritual and commercial hub, providing employment opportunities to many local small business owners. The Telangana government has contributed ₹25 crores towards the construction of the Hare Krishna Heritage Tower, which is expected to be completed by 2028.

Allu Sirish's 'Buddy': A Spirited Comeback in an Action-Packed Adventure
Allu Sirish's 'Buddy': A Spirited Comeback in an Action-Packed Adventure
Cast: Allu Sirish, Gayatri Bharadwaj, Prisha Singh, Ajmal Amir, Sriram Reddy, Mohammed Ali, Mukesh Kumar, and others. Director: Sam Antone Music: Hip-hop Tamizha Cinematography: Krishnan Vasant Editor: Ruben Producer: K.E. Gnanavel Raja Release Date: August 2, 2024 After a considerable hiatus, Mega Hero Allu Sirish makes his comeback with the film 'Buddy', starring alongside heroines Gayatri Bharadwaj and Prisha Singh. Directed by Sam Antone and produced by K.E. Gnanavel Raja under the Studio Green Films banner, this action-adventure film was released on August 2.  What's the Story? Aditya Ram (Allu Sirish), a pilot, falls in love with Pallavi (Gayatri Bharadwaj), who works as an air traffic controller in Visakhapatnam, without ever meeting her. Just as they plan to meet, unexpected events unfold. Pallavi gets caught in a medical mafia trap and is kidnapped, falling into a coma. Her spirit enters a teddy bear that Aditya once gifted her. How does her spirit, through the teddy, reunite with Aditya? How does Aditya, with the help of the teddy, retrieve her body from the villains? What did the villain gang plan to do with Pallavi's body? This is the story. How Did They Perform? Allu Sirish delivers a remarkable performance as Aditya. He excels in the action sequences, showing great maturity as an actor in this film. Gayatri Bharadwaj captivates with her glamour, charming the audience every moment she's on screen. Ajmal Amir, as the villain, matches well against Sirish, impressing with his acting. Second heroine Prisha Singh delights as an air hostess. The other actors also performed commendably within their roles. How's the Direction? Director Sam Antone made an effort to craft a unique story with this film. The love track between Allu Sirish and Gayatri Bharadwaj is beautifully executed. The scenes that show their connection despite being physically apart are particularly entertaining for the youth. The film keeps the audience engaged with 'Kalki' and 'Jai Balayya slogans' that add energy. The action sequences involving Buddy and Allu Sirish are enjoyable. However, the director failed to maintain suspense about what happens next, with the scenes being predictable. Some irrelevant comedy scenes caused viewer fatigue. An attempt to inject humor into the crucial climax was unnecessary. Technically... Technically speaking, Hip-hop Tamizha's background music is a strong addition, enhancing the action scenes, although the songs themselves are not very memorable. Krishnan Vasant's cinematographer is commendable. Editor Ruben could have sharpened his cuts a bit more. Better output from the graphics department would have added value to the film. Production values are satisfactory. Plus Points - Allu Sirish's acting - The love track - Action sequences with Buddy Minus Points - Screenplay - Lack of suspense - Some boring scenes Telugu.yousay.tv Rating: 2.5/5

However, recent buzz in Tollywood indicates that Prabhas may greenlight a different film instead. Let’s explore the details. Director Preference! Fans and others were expecting Prabhas to collaborate with Sandeep Reddy Vanga after the success of 'Kalki 2898 AD'. However, it appears that director Hanu Raghavapudi, known for 'Sita Ramam', has stepped in instead. Prabhas had previously committed to a project with Hanu Raghavapudi, now reportedly titled 'Fauji'. Given the extensive pre-production required for 'Spirit', Prabhas has opted to proceed with 'Fauji', sparking significant buzz in the industry. Director Hanu Raghavapudi is making preparations to begin shooting in October. Prabhas as a Soldier! The upcoming film 'Fauji' with Hanu Raghavapudi is set to be a period drama, unfolding against a 1940s British era backdrop. Mrunal Thakur is likely to appear as the heroine opposite Prabhas. 'Fauji' meaning soldier, Prabhas is expected to portray a military officer, stirring significant excitement among fans. The film is set to be produced on a grand scale by Mythri Movie Makers, with Vishal Chandrashekhar providing the music. Official updates related to this movie are expected soon. Raja Saab's Big Plan! Prabhas is collaborating with director Maruthi on the upcoming film 'Raja Saab'. An exciting development has recently emerged regarding the movie. HBD Nagarjuna: Nagarjuna's Birthday Special- Daring Hero!
HBD Nagarjuna: Nagarjuna's Birthday Special- Daring Hero!
Entering the industry as the heir of the legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Nagarjuna has undertaken experiments that no other hero would dare to attempt. He fearlessly moved forward in his career with a variety of unique films, earning a distinct recognition in genres ranging from mass and class to spiritual and romantic. He successfully introduced his sons, Naga Chaitanya and Akhil, as the third generation from the Akkineni family into the industry. Behind Nagarjuna's success in the industry are some daring steps. Let's learn about them on the occasion of his birthday today (August 29). 'Siva' Sensation Typically, early in their careers, most heroes opt for safe stories. However, Nagarjuna made a big impact with the experimental film 'Siva'. He took a significant risk by giving Ram Gopal Varma, who had never even been an assistant director, a chance to direct. This daring step turned his career around, creating a sensation with 'Siva' in a way no one anticipated. This film not only changed the trajectory of Nag's career but also altered the course of Tollywood, challenging the traditional perceptions of a hero's role with 'Siva'. Diversity a Priority With 'Siva', Nagarjuna became a top hero in the industry. While typically a single hit film would set a repetitive pattern in stories, Nagarjuna planned his career to ensure diversity in every film. This strategy led him to star in a supernatural heist film 'Govinda Govinda', a family drama 'Ninne Pelladatha', and an action entertainer 'Hello Brother', continually delighting his fans and establishing a dedicated fan base, thereby solidifying his status as a star hero. 'Annamayya' At a time when peers like Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, and Venkatesh were dominating with commercial films, Nagarjuna shocked everyone by signing on to the devotional project 'Annamayya'. Already popular for his mass image, his decision to do a devotional film raised eyebrows within the industry. Committed to portraying diverse roles, Nagarjuna embraced the challenge without hesitation, delivering a performance in 'Annamayya' that became a landmark in his career. Directed by K. Raghavendra Rao, the film was a sensational success, capturing the true essence of Annamayya and earning two National Awards, nine Nandi Awards, and three Filmfare Awards. More Spiritual Films Following the success of 'Annamayya', Nagarjuna didn't stop there. While continuing to act in commercial films, he also starred in more devotional films. Films like 'Sri Ramadasu', 'Shirdi Sai', 'Om Namo Venkatesaya', and 'Jagadguru Adi Shankar' under the combination of Raghavendra Rao and Nagarjuna also achieved great success at the box office. Opportunities for Newcomers Nagarjuna has proven time and again that not only is giving chances to newcomers not a risk, but it can also lead to success. Throughout his extensive acting career, he has introduced around 40 directors to Tollywood. Directors like Ram Gopal Varma ('Siva'), YVS Chowdary (Sri Sita Ramula Kalyanam Chootamu Raarandi), Lawrence ('Mass'), and Vijay Binni ('Naa Saami Ranga') are included in this list. Nagarjuna often credits these new directors for playing a pivotal role in his stardom. The First Pan-India Star from Telugu Cinema Director Krishna Vamsi, in an interview, made interesting remarks about Nagarjuna, describing him as the hero who took Telugu cinema global. Nagarjuna brought directors from various industries and produced diverse films with his own money, significantly altering the audience's perspective. He worked with directors like Mani Ratnam, Priyadarshan, Ravichandran, and Mahesh Bhatt from Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, and Tamil industries, becoming a true Pan-India foundation. https://twitter.com/thokkaloteja/status/1828863171152757038 As the Host of Bigg Boss... Rajamouli, Prabhas, NTR, and Bunny: Tollywood's Box Office Titans Dominating the ₹1000 Crore Club
In Tollywood, reaching ₹100 crore in collections was once not a common feat. If a film crossed ₹100 crore during its lifetime, it was considered a significant achievement. However, the scenario has drastically changed in recent times. Director SS Rajamouli has elevated Tollywood to a global scale, making it common for our heroes to easily rake in ₹100 crores on the opening day alone. Recently, NTR also smashed records by grossing ₹172 crores on the first day alongside the godly figures. Several star heroes and directors from Tollywood have carved their own unique markets and can effortlessly claim these numbers with a solid hit. Let's take a look at these special figures. Market Over ₹1000 Crores! Director SS Rajamouli creates a global buzz with every film. His direction in 'Baahubali 2' (₹1810 crores) and 'RRR' (₹1300 crores) brought in over ₹1000 crores each. He is currently directing 'SSMB 29' with Mahesh Babu, which is expected to hit a global stride and is projected to gross around ₹2000 crores. On the other hand, pan-India star Prabhas has created a unique market for himself regardless of directors. His recent film 'Kalki 2898 AD' grossed over ₹1200 crores. With big projects like 'Kalki 2', 'Salaar 2', 'Spirit', and 'Raja Saab' in his pipeline, these films are poised to reach over ₹1000 crores. Market Between ₹700-1000 Crores Currently, Tollywood boasts five individuals who have a market capacity of from ₹700 Crores to ₹1000 crores. Among the heroes, Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun easily fit this bill. Allu Arjun is set to release 'Pushpa 2' on December 6, and with the national buzz it's generating, it could easily make between ₹700-1000 crores if it becomes a hit. Mahesh Babu is set to drastically raise his market with an upcoming film directed by Rajamouli. Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who is planning his next film with Prabhas, is expected to touch the ₹1000 crore mark, as per industry analysts. Prashanth Neel’s upcoming projects with NTR ('NTR31') and Prabhas ('Salaar 2') also place him in this high market bracket. Market Between ₹500-700 Crores In this market range, three Tollywood heroes stand out. NTR, Ram Charan, and Pawan Kalyan can easily achieve this with a proper hit. Notably, Tarak has already shown the potential to easily join the ₹500 crore club with his recent success with Devara. Ram Charan, collaborating with director Shankar on 'Game Changer', is expected to release around Christmas, and success here could similarly elevate him to the ₹500 crore club. Pawan Kalyan has yet to venture into pan-India films, but his upcoming projects 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' and 'OG' are set at this level. There's significant anticipation for 'OG' among fans. Market Between ₹200-500 Crores From Tollywood, megastar Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna are likely contenders for this category. At 69, Chiranjeevi's star power remains undiminished. His upcoming movie 'Vishwambhara' is highly anticipated and could easily make ₹200-500 crores if successful. Balakrishna’s last three films have each crossed ₹100 crores. His next, 'NBK109' directed by Bobby, features Bollywood actor Bobby Deol as the antagonist. A successful clash between them could easily surpass ₹200 crores. Meanwhile, script magician Trivikram, despite mixed reviews for his last film 'Gunturu Karam', managed ₹250 crores. His next film is rumored to be with Allu Arjun, which could potentially rake in ₹500 crores if successful. Director Koratala Siva has also increased his market value with the film 'Devara', projecting his future films to start above the ₹200 crore mark.

It’s known that a movie titled 'Ramayana' is currently being filmed in Bollywood, with Ranbir Kapoor playing Rama and Sai Pallavi as Sita. The director, Nitesh Tiwari, wants to make the wedding scene of Sita and Rama a visual feast. In this context, the character of Parashurama is crucial, being the avatar that precedes Rama in the dashavatara (ten incarnations) of Vishnu. Nitesh thinks it fitting that a star of equal stature to Ranbir, who is playing Rama, should portray Parashurama. Hence, he is considering Prabhas for this role. There’s buzz in B-Town that Prabhas has been approached for this. Bollywood circles suggest that Prabhas has agreed to the role, with an official announcement expected soon. However, his role in the film is said to be brief but impactful. Star Couples as Villains Prabhas is set to work on a film directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga (of 'Animal' fame), titled 'Spirit.' The script phase is already underway. Recently, there have been substantial reports that Kareena Kapoor will be acting in this film and that Saif Ali Khan will play a villain. The latest buzz is that Kareena Kapoor will also portray a character with negative shades in 'Spirit.' Real-life couple Kareena and Saif are rumored to be playing villains in this film, which awaits further confirmation. Police vs Mafia Don! 'Spirit' is rumored to feature Prabhas in a dual role, stirring strong buzz. The script work is said to be complete, with only the dialogues left to be finalized. If rumors are to be believed, Prabhas will be seen as a police officer in one role and as a mafia don in another, with the latter having negative shades. Fans are confident that if this turns out to be true, it will be a blockbuster at the box office. In celebration of Prabhas’s birthday on October 10, a special poster is expected to be released, with 'Spirit' set to go on floors by January 25 of the next year. Meanwhile, Prabhas has previously done dual roles in movies like 'Billa,' 'Baahubali,' and 'Baahubali 2,' and is rumored to be doing the same in the upcoming 'Raja Saab.' Periodical Love Story! Prabhas and Hanu Raghavapudi are known to be teaming up for a film. Recently, a puja ceremony was held concerning this movie, which is rumored to be a period action love drama. Set against the backdrop of the Razakars era, during the time of Hyderabad's accession to India, director Hanu Raghavapudi has reportedly crafted a beautiful love story. The film, tentatively titled 'Fauji' (meaning soldier), will reportedly feature Prabhas as an Indian paramilitary soldier. Iman Ismail is set to star as the heroine and has already participated in the recent puja events, capturing attention on social media with her looks.

This distinctive direction has made top stars keen to collaborate with him. Queuing Stars! After the blockbuster 'Animal,' the buzz is that Sandeep will be teaming up with Prabhas for 'Spirit.' Following this, Allu Arjun is confirmed to be the hero in another upcoming project. Mahesh Babu is also said to have agreed to a movie with Sandeep post his project with Rajamouli. Sandeep has already discussed the story with Mahesh, as per various interviews. Recently, there have been talks with Jr. NTR, and Charan is expected to discuss a potential project soon. Beyond these stars, there's talk of 'Animal-2' in Bollywood, indicating Sandeep's widespread popularity. Despite their busy schedules, stars are ready to allocate dates for a chance to work with Sandeep, who, like Rajamouli, is desired by cinema lovers across India for his pan-Indian success. Spirit Heroine Fixed With Prabhas as the hero, massive expectations surround 'Spirit,' directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The industry is eagerly awaiting the commencement of filming. Currently busy with pre-production, the director has sparked intense curiosity online. Rumors are that Bollywood's seasoned actress Kareena Kapoor will star opposite Prabhas. Having been a top heroine in Bollywood, Kareena now occasionally appears in films and web series. News of her returning as a lead actress alongside a star hero has generated much interest. Fans are already speculating about the chemistry between Prabhas and Kareena, awaiting an official announcement from the 'Spirit' team. Prabhas’s Villain Repeats! Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan, recently known for villain roles, played Ravana in 'Adipurush' and opposed Jr. NTR in 'Devara.' His menacing appearance in the recently released 'Devara' trailer captivated audiences. Another buzz about 'Spirit' suggests that Saif will also appear in a negative role here, pitted against Prabhas in a powerful character. An intriguing aspect is that Saif’s wife, Kareena Kapoor, rumored to be the heroine in 'Spirit,' might see the couple portraying hero and villain on screen, which adds an interesting layer to the anticipation for the film. If true, expectations for 'Spirit' are set to climb to new heights.
